With the rapid development of information technology at present, application of personal digital assistant (PDA) is becoming more and more popular. It not only can be seen everywhere in daily life, but also infiltrates into the insurance, medicine, finance, public security, aviation, and so on. Along with the construction of the digital hospital and introduction of software, such as "Military I" project, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), Hospital information System (HIS), as well as the popularity of management software of medical equipments, the hospital puts forward higher requirements for medical work information management. PDA was used for rehabilitation assessment in this hospital from March 2007 to March 2009, which had a good result. Application of PDA in rehabilitation assessment greatly optimized workflow, which is the core objective of rehabilitation medicine. PDA is the necessary way for rehabilitation assessment to the "digital rehabilitation ".

Objective To compare the safety and effects of retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy(RLU)and microinva-sive percutaneous nephrolithotomy with lithotomy (MPCNL)for treating complicated upper ureteral calculi and to explore the sur-gical indications and the technical key points.Methods The clinical data in 54 cases of complicated upper ureteral calculi from Mar. 2009 to Sep.2012 were retrospectively analyzed,31 cases adopted the MPCNL therapy (MPCNL group)and 23 cases received the RLU therapy(RLU group).The perioperative complications and the stone clearance rate were compared between the two groups. Results The mean operating time was (69.70±7.73)min in the RLU group and (46.50±7.09)min in the MPCNL group(t=-11.436,P=0.000);the intraoperative blood loss was (21.50±7.23)mL in the RLU group and (66.90±20.00)mL in the MPC-NL group(t=9.94,P=0.000),the MPCNL group was significantly higher than the RLU group;no statistically significant differ-ences were found in the occurrence rate of postoperative hyperpyrexia,the stone clearance rate,the occurrence rate of urinary leak-age and the length of hospital stay between the two groups.Conclusion Both MPCNL and RLU have high safety and satisfactory effects for treating complicated upper ureteral calculi.RLU has less intraoperative blood loss and long operation time.

Objective: To study the effect of Maitork (a sodium chloride injection containing Ginkgo bioba extract and ligustrazine phosphate) on plasma levels of fibrinogen (Fg), platelet granule membrane protein 140 (GMP-140), tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) after focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats. Methods: Eighty male SD rats were randomly allocated into groups 3-day (n=40) and 7-day (n=40) after operation. Then each group was divided into 4 subgroups: sham-operation, ischemia control, Ginaton and Maitork. The focal cerebral ischemia model was established in rats. The activities of GMP-140 and tPA were measured by chromogenic substrate assay, and the level of Fg was measured by gel plaque assay. Objective To investigate the diagnosis of hepatic tumors by contrast-enhanced color Doppler ultrasonography. Methods Thirty-two patients with known focal liver lesions(diameter 11-112 mm,mean 43 mm) were studied with color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) before and after injection of 2.4 ml SonoVue at the concentration of 5 mg/ml. The pathological diagnosis included 13 benign lesions and 19 malignant ones. Analysis was performed on signal intensity of intratumoral vascularity,time of enhancement duration,resistant index and maximum velocity of intratumoral arterial blood flow. The data were compared between benign and malignant lesions. Results Before injection of SonoVue,intratumoral blood flow could be detected among 53.8 %(7/13) benign lesions and 78.9 %(15/19) malignant tumors. However these detection rates went up to 76.9 %(10/13) and 100%(19/19) respectively after administration of SonoVue. Significant difference between benign and malignant tumors was observed in time of enhancement duration. Furthermore RI showed significant difference between benign and malignant lesions.Diagnostic accuracy of hepatic tumors increased from 75.0 %( 24/32 ) to 90.6 %(29/32) after enhancement. Conclusions The clinical results showed the ability of contrast-enhanced CDFI in reflecting the blood supply of the hepatic tumors,demonstrating the high sensitivity and specificity of the technique,which could be of great value to the diagnosis of hepatic tumors.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the application of antibiotics and its trend for reference to clinical utilization.METHODS The data about antibiotics used from 2005 to 2007 were collected and analyzed.RESULTS The consumption of antibiotics was fallen year by year.The rate of utilization was 67%.The rate of drug combination was 45% and the rate of antibiotic resistance test was 20%.CONCLUSIONS There are still a lot of problems in antibiotics usage of our hospital.It is necessary to strengthen the guidance and supervision.

Objective To establish cell suspension culture system of Gentiana macrophylla.Methods Good cell line was selected by the methods of small cell aggregate and the effects of different media,inoculation age of cells,initial pH value,culture temperature,and rotation speed on cell growth and gentiopicroside accumulation were investigated.Results The eligible cell suspension culture conditions were:MS media as the basic medium,cells with inoculation age of 15 d,initial pH 7,and rotation speed of 110 r/min at 25 ℃,culturing in Erlenmeyer flasks.Conclusion Optimal cell suspension culture system of G.macrophylla has been established by shake flasks.The different effects of media on cell growth and gentiopicroside accumulation indicate that some inorganic ions have significant effects on regulation.

Objective To investigate the effects of carbohydrate and its concentration,nitrogen source,and metal ions on suspension cell growth of Gentiana macrophylla and gentiopicroside accumulation. Methods The cell dry weight and gentiopicroside content were measured under factors of different carbohydrate,NH4+/NO3-,Ca2+,and Zn2+ at various concentration. Results The optimum culture conditions are as follows:3% sucrose,NH4+/NO3-of 20/40,3 mmol/L Ca2+,0.007 49 mmol/L Zn2+. Conclusion Different carbohydrates and their concentration have significant effects on cell growth and gentiopicroside accumulation while high concentration of carbohydrates does not have such effect. NO3-is better than NH4+ for the cell growth. Ca2+ Remarkably influences both cell growth and gentiopicroside accumulation while Zn2+ contributes only to gentiopicroside content.

This paper reported a structured literature survey of research in wearable technology for upper-extremity rehabilitation. A keyword based search returned 61 papers related to this topic. Examination of the abstracts of these papers identified 18 articles describing distinct wearable systems aimed at upper extremity rehabilitation. They were classified in three categories depending on their functionality:posture and motion monitoring; monitoring and feedback systems that supported rehabilitation exercises; serious games for rehabilitation training. We characterized the state of the art considering respectively the reported performance of these technologies, availability of clinical evidence, or known clinical applications. Based on the insights from the review study, we proposed a smart rehabilitation garment system for variety of patient groups. The garment integrated with smart textiles and wearable electronics. It presented real-time feedback as a vibra-tion delivered through the garment, visual and audio instructions through Android-hand held device (smartphone or tablet).
