1.The study of Mtwo in root canal therapy in elderly patients
Journal of Chinese Physician 2014;(z1):6-7
Objective To assess the effects of Mtwo for root canal therapy in the aged patients .Methods One hundred and fifty-two root canals in 64 teeth for root canal therapy (RCT) in aged patients(60~70years)were randomly divided into M groups and K groups.Mtwo machine with nickel titanium file was used in M group (32 teeth, 78 root canals), and stainless steel file in K group (32 teeth, 74 root canals).Root canal preparation time, root spread reaction, and canal filling effects were compared between two groups. Results The root canal preparation and filling in group M were better than in K group ( P <0.05).The time consumption of RCT in M group was shorter than in group K .Conclusions Mtwo shows good shaping ability and is safe for aged patients in root canal treatment with high efficiency .
2.Clinical Experiences of Professor Zhang Qi in Treatment of Recurrent Urinary Tract Infection
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2014;(8):1802-1804
Recurrent urinary tract infection (RUTI) is a common disease in China. Modern medicine usually treats it with antibiotics. However, the drug resistance and adverse reaction of antibiotics lower the therapeutic effects and the compliance of patients. Based on the overall concept of Chinese medicine and the relationship of pathogenic factors and vital qi, Professor Zhang Qi proposed the general principles of RUTI treatment according to its different phases and patterns. The principles are listed as follows, eliminating method was used in the treatment of excess pattern;invigorating method was used in the treatment of deficiency pattern; and promoting of body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors method was used in the treatment of the deficiency-excess complex pattern. These principles have instructional significance for clinical application.

Objective:To establish a glioma cell line U251 stably expressing programmed cell death 4(PDCD4)gene,and to observe the influence of exogenous PDCD4 gene on the proliferation and cell cycle of U251 cells. Methods:Recombinant eukaryotic expression vector pEGFP-PDCD4 was transfected into human glioma cell line U251 by Lipofectamine 2000,and the U251 cells stably expressing PDCD4 were established by G418 selection.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and Western blotting were employed to detect the expression of PDCD4 mRNA and protein.Furthermore, cell proliferation and colony forming ability were determined by cell counting and colony formation assay;the cell cycle was detected by FACS.Results:High expression of PDCD4 mRNA and protein was observed in U251 cells transfected with pEGFP-PDCD4,whereas no PDCD4 mRNA and protein expression was detected in the non-transfected and vector-transfected cells.Further, cells transfected with pEGFP-PDCD4 grew more slowly and had lower colony formation rate than cells of the other two control groups(P
4.Cerebral salt wasting syndrome

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
There is significant evidence to show that many neurosurgical patients with hyponatremia, who were previously diagnosed with syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion(SIADH), actually have cerebral salt wasting syndrome(CSWS). The critical difference between SIADH and CSWS is that CSWS involves renal salt loss leading to hyponatremia and volume loss, whereas SIADH is a euvolemic or hypervolemic condition. The primary treatment for CSWS is water and salt replacement. The mechanisms underlying CSWS are not understood but may involve ANP or other natriuretic factors and direct neural influence on renal function.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(2):124-126
Insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ can promote the breast cancer formation, development and metastasis. According to the characteristic of insulin-like growth factor pathway, the inhibition of insulin-like growth factor pathway signaling can inhibit the growth and metastasis of breast cancer, which is of great significance for breast cancer prevention and treatment.
7.Research progress on mechanisms of bone metastasis of malignant tumors

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(1):67-69
Bone metastasis is a common complication in patients with malignant carcinoma. This process involves interactions between metastatic cancer cells and bone microenvironment. The two common pathological types are osteolytic and osteoblastic metastasis. Damage to the bone is closely associated with tumor growth.

Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1993;0(03):-
To test the apoptosis inducing effect of hypoxia on cardio myocytes Neonatal Wistar rat cardiomyocaytes were cultured under hypoxic condition for 2 hours,12 hours,24 hours, respectively Flow cytometery,TUNEL and morphological method were used to detect the apoptotic myocytes We found that the number of apoptotic cells of each hypoxia group was greater than that of the control group, and it increased as the time of hypoxia went longer The apoptotic cell number of the control group and the hypoxic groups of 2nd,12th and 24th h. were 9 33?0 62%,17 29?0 95%,33 59?2 09% and 76 01?4 60%( P

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum homocysteine(Hcy)level and endothelial function in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods A total of 209 patients having undertaken coronary angiography were enrolled in this study. The serum concentrations of homocysteine were investigated for all subjects using fluorescence polarization immunoassay.B-mode ultrasound was used to scan brachial arteries for all subjects at rest and during reactive hyperemia, and then the rates of endothelium-dependent and independent flow-mediated vasodilatation(FMD% and NTG%)of the brachial artery were calculated. Results The values of Hcy in the CHD group were higher than that in the control group(P
