Objective:To observe the effects of soybean isoflavones(SI) on uteri and uterine Er?,ER? expression in perimenopausal rats. Method:Female SD rats in age of 7-month-old were used as control and 11-month-old SD rats were divided into 5 groups,model group,diethylstilbestrol group and 3 test groups exposed to three doses of SI(ig:30,12,4.6 mg/kg?d) respectively for 35 d. Objective: To assay the contents of the five heavy metals in 10 different kinds of herbal pieces. Methods: With reference to 《The Professional Import and Export Stands for Medicinal Herbs and Preparations》, and 《Handbook of Chinese Hygienic and Physiochemical Assaying for Food》 (1997), plumbum and cadmium with the help of graphitic furnace atomic absorption spectometry; niccolum with atomic absorption apparatus; hydragyrum with apparatus for determination of mercury and arsenium with the arsenic stain were measured, respectively. Results: It is showed that 18 of 35 Samples did not come up to standard of the heavy metals; 7 of 10 different kinds of herbal pieces did not come up to standard of the heavy metals according to the issued standards.

Objective·To analyze clinical and pathological characteristics of gastric malignancies from a single center of Ruijin Hospital,and provide references for making healthy policy on gastric tumors.Methods·The data sources were from hospital in-patients database including demographic information,family history,clinicopathological information,and census registering information during 2005 to 2014.The demographic data and clinicopathological data were analyzed.Results·The total number was 3 315 cases with gastric malignancies (2 184 male patients and 1 131 female patients).It was about 2 times as high in males as in females.The patient age was between 18 to 98 years old (mean 59.71 years old).Based on pathologic diagnosis,3 122 cases (94.2％) were gastric adenocarcinoma,others were gastrointestinal stromal tumors (5.5％),neuroendocrine tumor (0.2％) and malignant lymphoma (0.1％).Out of patients with gastric carcinoma,about 4.46％ of cases ran in families.Conclusion·Over 94％ cases of gastric malignancies are gastric carcinomas.Specific risk profiles of gastric carcinomas include age,gender and family factors.

We aimed to study the effect of allitridum (All) on the transient outward potassium current (Ito) of ventricular myocytes of spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). Totally 30 male SHRs were randomly divided into three groups: low-dose All group (7.5 mg·kg(-1)), high-dose All group (15.0 mg·kg(-1)) and normal saline group. The other 10 sex and age matched Wistar-kyoto rats (WKY) were also taken as control group (WKY group). All animals received i.p. administration for 8 weeks. The dual enzymatic method was used to separate single ventricular myocyte from animals. Patch-clamp technique was used to record Ito and analyze the effect of All on the current. It was shown that the left ventricular hypertrophy of SHR was reversed significantly by All. Furthermore, the density of Ito was recovered in both high and low dose All groups. The peak current densities of Ito were enhanced from 18.23±3.64 to 25.17±2.86 pA/pF (P<0.01) and 36.47±5.42 pA/pF (P<0.01) at +50 mV by All 7.5 mg·kg(-1) and 15.0 mg·kg(-1), respectively, which was not significantly different with WKY group. The effect was associated with positive shift of the steady-state, close-state inactivation, and shortened recovery from inactivation of Ito. It is concluded that All decreases the remodeling of Ito of ventricular hypertrophic myocytes of SHR.

The aim of this study was to explore the effects of ZGXF decoction on amphetamine-induced rotation in PD rats with syndrome of liver-yang hyperactivity,and its mechanism involved.Rats received 6-OHDA administration via intra-substantia nigra injection and were intragastrically treated by Fu Zi decoction to establish the PD model with the syndrome of liver-yang hyperactivity.Three doses of ZGXF decoction or selegiline were given by a 28-day intragastric administration.The rats were tested for amphetamine-induced rotation asymmetry.In addition,real-time PCR were adopted to analyze the expressions of Nfe212 and Hmox1 mRNAs,while western blot to analyze the expression of Keap1 protein.As a result,it was found that ZGXF decoction dose-dependently attenuated amphetamine-induced rotation,up-regulated the expressions of Nfe212 and Hmox-1 mRNAs,and down-regulated the expression of Keap1 protein in the substantia nigra in PD rats with syndrome of liver-yang hyperactivity.It was suggested that anti-PD effects of ZGXF decoction be attributed to the up-regulation of Nfe212 and Hmox-1 mRNAs and the down-regulation of Keap1 protein,being associated with oxidative stress,in the substantia nigra of PD rats with syndrome of liver-yang hyperactivity.

Objective To analyze and compare the clinical and laboratory features between patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and nonradiographic axial spondyloarthritis (nr-axSpA).Methods One hundred and forty-one patients with AS and 73 cases with nr-axSpA were recruited.Clinical and laboratory indexes of individuals were recorded in detail,Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI) and Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score (ASDAS) crp were calculated.Spondyloarthritis research consortium of Canada (SPARCC) score standard was used to evaluate the degree of bone marrow edema in sacr-oiliac joint under magnetic resonance imaging scanning.T test,rank test and x2 test were used for statistical analysis.Results The average age of patients with AS was obviously higher than that of patients with nr-axSpA (t=4.962,P＜0.01).Patients with AS were more often male,and those with nr-axSpA were more often female (82.0％ of the AS patients were men and 49.3％ of the nr-axSpA patients were men (x2=24.079,P＜0.01).Disease duration of AS was significantly longer than that of the nr-axSpA (Z=6.396,P＜0.01).The incidence of human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-B27 positive in AS was 89.4％,which was similar to that in patients with nr-axSpA (84.9％) (x2=0.884,P＞0.05).21.6％ (21 cases) of patients with AS had peripheral swollen joints,which was higher than that in nr-axSpA (2.2％,x2=8.861,P=0.003).Forty cases in AS had tender joints (41.2％),only 6 patients in nr-axSpA had tender joints (13.3％,x2=11.458,P＜0.01).Serum erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C reactive protein (CRP) levels in patients with AS were clearly higher than those in nr-axSpA (P＜0.01) patients.In AS,the patient global assessment (PGA),BASDAI and ASDAScrp value was significantly higher than that in nr-axSpA (P＜0.01).There were no differences in SPARCC score or incidence of bone marrow edema in sacroiliac joint in magnetic resonance imaging scanning between AS and nr-axSpA (P＞0.05).Percentage of patients with occipit-to-wall distance higher than 0 cm in AS was higher than that in nr-axSpA,and the mean distance of fingers to ground in AS was also higher than that in nr-axSpA (x2=19.844,P＜0.01;Z=5.724,P＜0.01).Chest expansion degree and Schboer's test in AS was much lower than that in nr-axSpA,respectively (Z=3.083,P=0.002;Z=5.103,P＜0.01).BASFI in AS was higher than that in nr-axSpA (Z=5.840,P＜0.01).The ratio of joint function in AS was obviously worse than that in nr-axSpA (x2=1 1.369,P=0.01).Conclusion Compared to patients with nr-axSpA,AS patients are male predominant,and have severer inflammation in clinical and laboratory findings and are worse in functional status.

Objective To investigate the risk factors and prognosis on the post-resuscitation multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS) after successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR).Methods Clinical data of 53 patients who were suffered with cardiac arrest(CA) and undergone successful CPR with return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC) were analyzed. Results There were 48 patients accompanied with MODS(90.6%),and among them,35 patients died in hospital(66.0%).All the 10 patients with CPR interval ≥6min were accompanied with MODS and they died in hospital.There were 43 patients who underwent CA immediately and of them,38 patients were accompanied with MODS.The incidence and mortality of MODS in the patients with CA-ROSC interval 0.05).Conclusion The risk factors such as ROSC interval ≥6 min,AC-ROSC interval ≥10min and the SIRS after ROSC are significantly associated with the incidence of MODS.The organic function of the patients should be evaluated promptly.
