1.Research progress of aggressive B-cell lymphoma: reports from the 19th European Hematology Association annual congress
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(9):523-524
Aggressive B-cell lymphoma is characterized by malignant behaviour and rapid progression.Patients are prone to drug resistance or relapse of disease. The 19th European Hematology Association (EHA)annual congress explored several aspects about aggressive B-cell lymphoma.PET-CT examination provided new tools for the indication of prognosis. The elevated dose of rituximab improved the outcome of elderly male patients.Novel drugs or methods including bortezomib,ABT-199,combined targeted therapy and CNS prophylaxis have shown encouraging results in various clinical trials which provide new hope for patients with aggressive B-cell lymphoma.
2.Treatment strategies and clinical research progress of Hodgkin lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(10):581-582,585
Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) originates from the lymphoid hematopoietic tissues and has a good treatment outcome with relatively high cure rate.Early stage HL is curable with abbreviated chemotherapy plus involved-filed radiotherapy or chemotherapy alone. However, patients with refractory or relapsed disease still lack effective treatment. In recent years, with the application of risk stratified treatment, novel drugs such as brentuximad vedotin, and PET-CT evaluation, significant progress has been made in prognosis and treatment of HL

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2002;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the angiogenic effect of leptin on grainy fat transplantation. Methods Grainy fat was obtained from the Wistar rat subcutaneous tissue in the abdomen. It was then mixed with 0.9 % NS and 20 ng/ml leptin and transplanted in the head subcutaneously. The transplanted tissue was taken out after 10, 20 and 40 days and was stained with AKP histochemistry and actin immunohistochemistry. The microvessel density was measured by medical imagine analysis system. The data were analyzed with SPSS software. Results The values of microvessel density in leptin groups were 0.12 ?0.04?m 2/?m 2 after 10 days and (6.83?1.86)?10 -2 ?m 2/?m 2 after 20 days. This was obviously high as compared with (1.49?0.88)?10 -2 ?m 2/?m 2 and (4.32?2.11)?10 -2 ?m 2/?m 2 in saline groups in the same observing periods ( P

In the research field of quality control in Chinese medicinal materials, variation in active ingredients of medicinal plant is always the key and hot issues. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technologies and reducing cost, a large numbers of genes from medicinal plant were cloning and provide a solid foundation for further research of gene structure and its biological function, and also provides conditions for explore active ingredient variation and its quality control from the perspective of molecular pharmacognosy. This paper introduces the concept of homologous gene, gene duplication and classification. We prospect the function of duplicated genes in the role of molecular mechanism research about variation in active ingredients, aiming at providing a new way for medicinal materials quality control.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(08):-
Objective To evaluate the possibility and efficiency of early lung cancer screening using low-dose spiral CT,and to investigate the effects of prognosis of lung cancer. Methods 3005 routine chests check-up were carried on the low-dose prospect research of the SHIMADZU 7800 TX spiral CT. According to the result by tracing and long-term CT follow-up based on the baseline screening, biopsy or surgical excisions were recommended in "malignant change" or enlarged nodules. Two doctors separately interpreted all the images blindly. Results 29.9 rate of nodules in all of cases were detected. Smoking group was 1.3 times incidence of non-smoking. A whole incidence of lung cancer was 1.2, including 2.9 in people at high risk of lung cancer and 0.9 in common people. The sensitivity and specificity of lung cancer screening using low-dose spiral CT were 82.9 and 88.8 respectively, and the diagnostic accuracy of lung cancer screening in diameter of nodules less than 10 mm was high than in ones more than 10 mm. Histologically, 33 non-small cell lung cancers (19 stageⅠ, 10 stageⅡand 4 stageⅢ), 2 small cell lung cancers and 1 scar carcinoma were proved based on baseline screening by biopsy or surgery. By the end of 2007, the average survival for clinical stageⅠlung cancer was more than 4 years, clinical stageⅡwas 2~3 years and clinical stageⅢ was 1~2 years. Conclusion Low-dose spiral CT is of high sensitive and specificity in detecting early lung cancer. Preliminary screening study indicates that low-dose spiral CT can greatly improve the likelihood of detection for early lung cancer and situation of survival.

Objective To evaluate the soft tissue profile in adults with unoperated isolated cleft palate. Methods Twenty patients older than 16 years(median age,18.4) with unoperated isolated cleft palate were enrolled.Soft tissue lateral cephalograms were traced and compared with those of cleft operated patients and class-Ⅰocclusion individuals. The results of various measurements were analyzed with ANOVA by SPSS11.5. Results In adults with unoperated isolated cleft palate, there was restriction at the top of the upper lip,and the antelabrum of upper lip and the lower lip were found normal. Conclusion The soft tissue profile in adults with unoperated isolated cleft palate exhibits almost the same characteristics as the corresponding hard tissue, and there is covering over effect of the soft tissue to some extent.

The authors tried to combine the theoretical learning with experimental and clinical teaching by adding teaching materials of public opinion,head-simulator,typical cases, clinical practice, examination of clinical operation skill, and make up with deficiency to some extend in current pattern of stomatology teaching. The results have showed that the pattern of experimental teaching not only raises the students'activity, consolidates their basic knowledge, develops their clinical thinking ability, but also increases their ability of clinical operational skill before clinical training.

Objective To investiGate the distribution of clinical infectious pathoGens and druG resistance status of common bacteria in the Ninth Peopleˊs Hospital Affiliated to medicine School of ShanGhai Jiao TonG University in 20l2. Methods Clinical isolated bacterial strains were collected from the Ninth Peopleˊs Hospital Affiliated to medicine School of ShanGhai Jiao TonG University durinG 20l2. The identification of bacteria and antimicrobial susceptibility were determined by VITEK 2 COMPACT automatic microbioloGy analyzer. The data were analyzed by WHONET 5. 4 software. Results A total of 3456 pathoGenic strains were collected. Of them,Gram positive cocci,Gram neGative bacilli and funGus accounted for 20. 3%,76. 8% and 2. 9% respectively. Methicillin resistant strains in S. aureus( MRSA ) and coaGulase neGative Staphylococcus ( MRCNS)accounted for averaGe of 44. 4% and 85. 5% respectively. No vancomycin and linezolid resistant strains were found. Extended spectrumβ-lactamases strains accounted for 66. 4% and 30. 6% in Escherichia coli ( E. coli)and Klebsiella spp respectively. Strains of E. coli and Klebsiella spp were still hiGhly susceptible to imipenem. Resistance rates of P. aeruGinosa and A. baumannii sppstrains to imipenem were 8. 3% and 58. 4%respectively. Conclusion The major clinical pathoGenic microorGanisms in the Ninth Peopleˊs Hospital Affiliated to medicine School of ShanGhai Jiao TonG University are still Gram neGative bacilli. Baterial resistance is serious. It is important to strenGthen the detection of resistant bacteria in routine work, which is useful for rational use of antimicrobial aGents.
