OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of triptorelin acetate in the treatment of endometriosis after lap-aroscopy. METHODS:196 cases of endometriosis were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 98 cases in each group according to admission sequence. Both groups received laparoscopic surgery. After surgery, experimental group was given triptorelin acetate by intramuscular injection,3.75 mg/time,every 4 weeks;control group was given gestrinone orally,2.5 mg/time,twice a week, for 5 months. The ovulation, menstrual recovery and the occurrence of ADR were observed in 2 groups. The endometriosis relapse of 2 groups were followed up for 1 year and observed. RESULTS:After treatment, the ovulation recov-ery time and menstrual recovery time of experimental group were all shorter than those of control group, with statistical signifi-cance(P<0.05). The incidence of ADR in experimental group(17.34%)was significantly lower than in control group(35.71%), with statistical significance(P<0.05). During follow-up period, the relapse rate of experimental group(7.14%)was significantly lower than that of control group(18.37%),with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:After laparoscopic surgery, triptorelin acetate can significantly improve therapeutic efficacy of endometriosis, reduce the occurrence of ADR.

Objective To investigate the renoprotective effects of autologous transplantation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) in diabetic rats. Methods Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were injected intraperitoneally with 40 mg/kg streptozotocin (STZ) for 5 consecutive days to induce type 1 diabetes. Four weeks following STZ injection, eighteen SD rats were randomized into two groups: the diabetic group (n = 9) and the ADMSCs group (n = 9). Normal nondiaetic rats were set as the normal control (n = 9). Autologous ADMSCs were cultured and identified in vitro , which were intravenously injection to the ADMSCs group rats via the tail vein. At 8 weeks after transplantation, levels of blood glucose, insulin, serum urea nitrogen, serumcreatinine and urine protein were measured. Meanwhile the body weight and kidney weight were examined. Results Mesenchymal cell surface markers were expressed in the cultured ADMSCs. The ADMSCs could differentiate into the adipogenic and osteoblastic lineages. Both the diabetic group and the ADMSCs group rats had higher levels of blood glucose , urea nitrogen , serum creatinine , urine protein and higher ratio of the kidney weight/body weight than those in the normal control group (P < 0.05, respectively). Blood glucose, urea nitrogen and the ratio of kidney weight/body weight in the ADMSCs group rats were significantly decreased compared with the diabetic group (P < 0.05, respectively). The decreased insulin level was attenuated after transplantation of ADMSCs (P < 0.05). Besides, levels of serum creatinine and urine protein in the ADMSCs group were lower than those in the diabetic group with no significant difference. Conclusion Autologous transplantation of ADMSCs can improve metabolic disorder and relieves diabetic renal damage.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Hydroxy Safflower Yellow A (HSYA) on the expression of osteogenic markers, such as alkaline phosphatase, Cbf(alpha)l and type I collagen, and explore the mechanism of HSYA in the prevention and treatment of glucocorticoid-induced ischemic necrosis of femoral head.
METHODSFifteen healthy and adult New Zealand white rabbits were collected and weighted 0.9 to 1.3 kg. The rabbits were injected abdominally with anesthetic drugs, then received marrow cavity puncture of tibia and anterior superior iliac spine to get bone marrow blood. Rabbits bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) were separated from the bone marrow blood, cultured in vitro and passaged. The 3rd generation of BMSCs which had good growth condition were randomly divided into blank group, model group and HSYA groups with different doses. The BMSCs in model group were treated with high dose of dexamethasone to induce adipogenic differentiation of cells cultured in vitro, and inhibit osteogenic differentiation. The BMSCs in HSYA groups received high dose of dexamethasone and different concentrations of HSYA simultaneously. The blank group received not any special handling. After a week, the expressions of alkaline phosphatase, Cbf(alpha)l and type I collagen mRNA were detected.
RESULTSThe alkaline phosphatase activity was significantly decreased in BMSCs of the model group as compared with the blank group (P < 0.01), and the expression of Cbf(alpha)l and type I collagen mRNA were also decreased significantly (P<0.01). The alkaline phosphatase activity was significantly increased in BMSCs of each HSYA group as compared with the model group (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), and the expression of Cbf(alpha)l and type I collagen mRNA were also increased significantly (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe mechanism of HSYA may be related to the effect of antagonism to the reduced osteogenic differentiation induced by glucocorticoid.

Objective To evaluate the possibility and efficiency of early lung cancer screening using low-dose spiral CT,and to investigate the effects of prognosis of lung cancer. Methods 3005 routine chests check-up were carried on the low-dose prospect research of the SHIMADZU 7800 TX spiral CT. According to the result by tracing and long-term CT follow-up based on the baseline screening, biopsy or surgical excisions were recommended in "malignant change" or enlarged nodules. Two doctors separately interpreted all the images blindly. Results 29.9 rate of nodules in all of cases were detected. Smoking group was 1.3 times incidence of non-smoking. A whole incidence of lung cancer was 1.2, including 2.9 in people at high risk of lung cancer and 0.9 in common people. The sensitivity and specificity of lung cancer screening using low-dose spiral CT were 82.9 and 88.8 respectively, and the diagnostic accuracy of lung cancer screening in diameter of nodules less than 10 mm was high than in ones more than 10 mm. Histologically, 33 non-small cell lung cancers (19 stageⅠ, 10 stageⅡand 4 stageⅢ), 2 small cell lung cancers and 1 scar carcinoma were proved based on baseline screening by biopsy or surgery. By the end of 2007, the average survival for clinical stageⅠlung cancer was more than 4 years, clinical stageⅡwas 2~3 years and clinical stageⅢ was 1~2 years. Conclusion Low-dose spiral CT is of high sensitive and specificity in detecting early lung cancer. Preliminary screening study indicates that low-dose spiral CT can greatly improve the likelihood of detection for early lung cancer and situation of survival.
