DNA methylation is one of the regulators on the expression of genes,and the expression of genes can be ”silenced” by hypermethylation of the tumor suppressor genes,which is in close relationship with carcinogenesis.Gastric cancer is caused by multiple factors and multiple genes alteration and prolonged interaction.among them ,There is considerable relation between the hypermethylation of the tumor suppressor genes and the gastric carcinogenesis.

Objective To study the effect of G-CSF and SCF on ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction in rats. Methods Left anterior descending coronary artery ligation was performed on 78 rats and after 6 hours there were 60 rats survived. The 60 rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: 30 rats received the treatment of G-CSF and SCF while the other 30 rats served as the control. The treatment group was injected subcutaneously with G-CSF and SCF and the control group was given saline. The treatment and control groups were randomly divided into 3 subsections and were killed in the 1~(st), 2~(nd) and 4~(th) week respectively. Comparison between the two groups was made in terms of ratio of ventricular weight to body weight, percentage of the infarction area to the total surface area of the LV as well as HE and immunohistological staining of the myocardium. Objective: To investigate epidemiological characteristics of cancers in Zhoushan City in 2018, so as to provide the evidence for the formulation of cancer control strategies. Methods: The cancer data in Zhoushan City in 2018 were captured from Zhejiang Provincial Information Management System for Chronic Disease Surveillance. The gender- and age-specific incidence of cancers was descriptively analyzed. The cancer incidence was standardized to the data of the Sixth National Population Census in China in 2010 ( Chinese standard population ) and Segi's world standard population. Results: The crude incidence rate, age-standardized incidence rate by Chinese standard population ( ASR China ), and age-standardized incidence rate by world standard population ( ASR world ) of cancers were 468.65/105, 300.12/105 and 232.79/105 in Zhoushan City in 2018, and the cumulative cancer incidence rate was 26.91% among residents at ages of 0 to 74 years, while the truncated-age cancer incidence rate was 431.90/105 among residents at ages of 35 to 64 years. The crude incidence rate, ASR China, and ASR world of cancers were 473.00/105, 285.67/105 and 229.03/105 in men, and 464.43/105, 317.66/105 and 241.30/105 in women in Zhoushan City in 2018, respectively. In addition, the mean age of new cases with cancers in 2018 was ( 61.34±13.19 ) years in Zhoushan City in 2018, and the highest crude cancer incidence was seen in residents at ages of 70 to 74 years ( 1 327.50/105 ). The crude cancer incidence rate was higher in new female cases at ages of 25 to 54 years than in new male cases, and the crude cancer incidence rate was higher in new male cases at ages of 60 to 84 years than in new female cases ( P<0.05 ). The 10 most common cancers included lung cancer, female breast cancer, thyroid cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, cervical cancer, prostatic cancer, pancreatic cancer and bladder cancer, which accounted for 80.20% of all cancers in Zhoushan City in 2018. Conclusions High cancer incidence was found in Zhoushan City in 2018, and elderly populations are at high risk of developing cancers. The management of lung cancer, female breast cancer, thyroid cancer, gastric cancer and colorectal cancer should be given a high priority.

Objective To investigate neonatal cerebral oxygenation after hypoxia.Methods Cerebral oxygenation of 39 babies with perinatal hypoxia and 42 neonates without hypoxia was ob- served under quiet state and stimulation of sound by Near Infrared Spectroscopy(NIRS) and com- paired with the findings of EEG and image studies.Results In normal neonates cerebral oxygena- tion was steady under quiet state,where as it increased after sound stimulation.However,newborns with hypoxia showed inhibited brain activities with little changes in cerebral oxygenation in response to sound stimuli.Episodes of deoxygenation were found in 13 cases during monitoring.Conclusion After perinatal hypoxic brain damage,the function of cerebral oxygenation can be still abnomal for a certain period,which is related to the degree of brain damage.

Objective To investigate the social support of the elderly hospitalized individuals and its relationship with outcomes and to study its influential factors.Methods The elderly in-patients aged＞65 years old who were treated from April to June 2012 in Geriatric Department were recruited.The comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) that included social support scale (SSRS) was used.According to SSRS,the patients were assigned to the lower or higher score group.The participants were followed up for 1 year,and 12-month mortality and re-hospitalization were recorded.Student's t test,Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression were used for data analysis.Results The total score of social support was 26.58±8.99,which was significantly lower than the national norm (34.56±3.73,t =-7.52,P＜0.05).Those with advanced age,less household,depression,insufficient ability of daily life and instrument daily life showed relatively lower SSRS (t values were-2.54,8.22,-6.61,6.72 and 6.95,respectively; all P＜0.05).The patients with no spouse also got less social support (x2 =8.58,P＜0.05).At 1 year,no significant difference of re-hospitalization and mortality was found between the two groups (x2 values were 1.94 and 3.28,respectively; both P＞0.05).In multiple logistic regression analysis,fanily member,characteristics and living ability were the major influential factors of social support.Conclusions Medical staff should pay more attention to the elderly hospitalized patients and offer them sufficient social support to improve their quality of life.

Objective To explore the titre of serum anti-phospholipase A2 receptor antibodies (anti-PLA2 R antibodies) detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to provide a more specific serological index for clinical diagnosis and disease judgment of membranous nephropathy (MN).Methods Thirty-four cases of MN confirmed by kidney biopsy ,32 inpatients with autoimmune diseases ,nephrotic syndrome and renal insufficiency in the nephrology department of our hospital and 12 persons un-dergoing physical examination were selected.The serum was collected for detecting anti-PLA2 R antibodies level.Then its diagnostic performance for diagnosing MM was analyzed by combining with serum TP ,ALB ,IgG ,IgA ,IgM ,C3 and C4 indicators.Results The medians of anti-PLA2 R antibodies titres in the MN group ,disease control group and healthy control group were 22.1 ,2.0 ,2.0 RU/mL respectively ,which had statistical difference between the MN group and other two groups (P<0.05).Seventeen cases of anti-PLA2R antibodies positive were in the MN group(positive rate50% )and 17 cases were negative,the disease control group and healthy control group all were negative.Its specificity and positive predictive value were 100% ,TP ,ALB and IgG had statistical difference between the MN group with the disease control group and healthy control group (P<0.05);the relative coefficients of anti-PLA2 R antibodies with TP ,ALB and IgG ,IgA ,IgM ,C3 and C4 were in turn -0.382 ,-0.344 ,-0.502 ,-0.295 ,0.062 , 0.005 and 0.241 respectively ,anti-PLA2R antibodies were negatively correlated with TP ,ALB ,IgG and IgA(P<0.01) ,positively correlated with C4(P<0.05) and had no relation with IgM and C3(P>0.05).Conclusion Anti-PLA2 R antibodies have higher specificity for the diagnosis of MN and can serve as the necessary and specific serologic detection indicator in the patients unable to conduct renal biopsy.Quantitative detection helps to condition judgment.

AIM: To investigate the inhibitory effect of Chinese medicine Jinan injection(JA) on Lewis lung cancer (LLC) in mice. METHODS: The C 57 BL/6J mice with Lewis lung cancer(LLC) were divided into normal saline(NS), Jinan high dose (JAH), Jinan middle dose (JAM), Jinan low dose (JAL) and cyclophosphamide(CTX) groups. The body weight changes and inhibitory rate of LLC in each group were observed. In addition, flow cytometry and TUNEL were used to detect the anticancer mechanism of Jinan. RESULTS: The body weights were increased significantly in JA-treated groups vs CTX and the resistant rate was 45.79%, 40.90%, 32.48% and 98.96%, respectively. The apoptotic rate was 24.19%, 14.95% and 13.93% in JAH, JAM and JAL, respectively, and the Jinan induced apoptosis of LIC in a dose-dependent manner.CONCLUSION: Jinan injection inhibites the growth of LLC, and the apoptosis induction may be one of mechanisms that Jinan treates LLC in mice.

Objective To study the clinical efficacy and safety of Bryan-Morrey approach combined with anatomic locking plate fixation for the treatment of type C fractures of distal humerus.Methods Performed a prospective study from from Mar.2011 to Aug.2014.Thirty-three cases of distal humerus fracture were included in our study,and the mean age was (37.3 ±4.1) years old.The fracture type of distal humerus was 13-C according to Mayo classification.All the fractures treated with a Bryan-Morrey approach and anatomic locking plates.In the follow-up,Mayo scores of elbow,measurement of range of motion,elbow flexion and extension muscle strength were recorded and analysed.Results In this study,there were no serious complications,such as nonunion,rupture of triceps tendon and the infection,except partial sensory function injury of ulnar nerve in 5 cases.At the last time of the follow-up,elbow flexion muscle strength and extension muscle strength did not significantly decreased significantly compared with strength of the normal side.The mean flexion of the injured side was (134.5 ± 10.1) degrees,and the mean extension was (-1 1.5 ± 8.1) degrees.According to Mayo elbow performance score,the average scores of elbow was (86.2 ± 7.8),84％ of the patients got excellent or very excellent function results.Conclusion The Bryan-Morrey approach combined with anatomic locking plate fixation is a good choice for the treatment of distal humerus fractures of AO C type.

Objective To investigate the effects of comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) and health intervention on outcome in discharged patients.Methods Discharged patients in geriatric ward from May to July 2012 were randomly assigned to control (n=36) and intervention (n=36) groups.Patients in the two groups were given comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) before discharging from hospital.Both groups were followed up for 3 months.Patients in intervention group received health intervention when leaving hospital,at 1 week,3 weeks and 3 months after discharge from hospital,while patients in control group were not given any intervention.The comprehensive illness condition (MCIRS-G),ability of daily life (ADL and IADL),rehospitalization and survival rate were compared between the two groups 3 months after the intervention.Results After 3 months,the scores of MCIRS-G,ADL and IADL were significantly better in intervention group than in control group[(29.06±4.51) vs.(33.09±4.34),(75.69±16.57)vs.(63.86±19.37),(11.72±3.20) vs.(9.77±2.52),respectively,t=3.84,2.77,2.85,all P=0.01].The total times ofreadmission and readmission length were less in intervention group than in control group [3 vs.17,x2 =8.79,P=0.02; (1.94±6.68) days vs.(8.81±14.09) days,t=2.64,P=0.01].There was no difference in survival rate between the two groups [100％ (36/36) vs.97.2％ (35/36),x2=1.01,P=0.30].Conclusions Comprehensive geriatric assessment and health intervention can alleviate symptoms and improve the ability of daily life.

Objective: Combining with national drug sampling program,to evaluate the current quality situation and problems of compound Yinqiao and paracetamol and chlorphenamine maleate capsules by testing and analyzing 78 batches of samples collected from the realm of drug production and circulation all over the country in 2015.Methods: As the current standard could not control the product quality, and combined the prescribed examination with exploratory research, the method of HPLC was used to determine the contents.GC and TLC was respectively used to identify peppermint oil and study on forsythin.Near infrared spectrum database was established by near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), which provided the basis for rapid testing.The results of the prescribed examination and exploratory research were statistically analyzed.Results: There were significant differences in the results of the prescribed examination and exploratory research.Conclusion: The results of exploratory research show that there are many defects in the statutory standards.The product quality of different manufactures was divers, and it is necessary to guide them to improve the preparation process and the quality.More exclusive, accurate and sensitive methods should be used to comprehensively control the quality.
