1.Establishment of a cell-based filovirus entry inhibitor evaluation system.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(12):1538-1544
Ebola virus, the cause of severe and fatal hemorrahagic fever in humans, belongs to filovirus family. This study was designed to establish a cell-based screening and evaluation system in the pharmacological study of antivirus compounds. Three reporter systems were established with recombinant pseudoviral luciferase of HIV core (pNL4-3.Luc.R(-)E(-)) packed with filovirus glycoprotein (EBOV-Zaire GP/HIV-luc, EBOV-Sudan GP/HIV-luc and Marburg GP/HIV-luc), which are required for virus entry of cells. The level of filovirus entry was determined by the expression of luciferase reporter gene in the infected cells. For screening of filovirus entry inhibitors, the vesicular stomatitis G packed pseudovirions (VSVG/HIV-luc) was used to determine the compound specificity. The results of known filovirus entry inhibitors demonstrated successful establishment of the new model systems, which would be useful in high throughput screening of anti-filovirus drugs in the future.

2.Neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy treated with acupuncture combined with acupoint injection: a randomized controlled trial.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(7):641-645
OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy difference in the treatment of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (NHIE) between the combined therapy of acupuncture land acupoint injection of nerve growth fac-tor (NGF) and the combined therapy of the intravenous drop of citicoline sodium and intramuscular injection of NGF.
METHODSSixty-one cases of NHIE were randomized into an observation group (32 cases) and a control group (29 cases). In the observation group, acupuncture combined with acupint injection of NGF was adopted. The acupoints were Baihui (GV 20), Dazhui (GV 14) and Fengfu (GV 16), 0. 5 mL each acupoint, once a day. In the control group, the intravenous drop of citicoline sodium and intramuscular injection of NGF were used. The, treatment of 7 days made one session and 3 sessions were required. Separately, in 7, 14 and 21 days of treatment, the clinical efficacy, behavior nerve determination score and adverse reaction were observed in the two groups.
RESULTSIn 7, 14 and 21 days of treatment, the total effective rates were 50. 0% (16/32), 68. 8% (22/32) and 78. 1% (25/32) in the observation group and were 69. 0% (20/29), 72. 4% (21/29) and 82. 8% (24/29) in the control group. The result in the control group was better than that in the observation group in the 7 days (P< 0. 05). The behavior determination scores in 7, 14 and 21 days were all improved obviously as compared with those before treatment in the two groups (P<0. 05, P<0. 01). The score in the control group was better than that in the, observation group in the 7 days (P<0. 05). The differences were not significant in the scores between the two groups in 14 and 21 days (both P>0. 05). The incidence of adverse reaction in the observation group was lower than that in, the control group [14. 3% (5/35) vs 31. 4% (11/35), P<0. 05] and the severity was mild.
CONCLUSIONIn the treatment of NHIE with the combined therapy of acupuncture and acupint injection, the overall efficacy in 1 week; is inferior to that of the combined therapy of the intravenous drop of citicoline sodium and intramuscular injection of NGF. But the efficacy is improved gradually along with the treatment progression and the adverse reaction is less.

3.The Practice of Dynamic Monitoring on Drug Use in Our Hospital
China Pharmacy 2007;0(32):-
OBJECTIVE:To promote the rational drug use in our hospital.METHODS:The in-patient and out-patient drug use in our hospital was monitored and analyzed.RESULTS:The income from pharmaceuticals accounted for 38% of the total income in our hospital and the drug use tend to be more rational after the practice of dynamic monitoring on drug use.CONCLUSION:Dynamic monitoring on drug use played a positive role on the rational use of drugs meanwhile it brings the proportion of drug consumption under effective control.
4.Determination of the Dissolution of Puerarin and 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stibene-2-O-?-D-glycoside in Xinnaokang Capsules
China Pharmacy 2007;0(30):-
OBJECTIVE:To determine the dissolution of puerarin and 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stibene-2-O-?-D-glycoside in Xinnaokang capsules.METHODS:The contents of puerarin and 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stibene-2-O-?-D-glycoside were determined by HPLC and the dissolution rates of puerarin and 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy-stibene-2-O-?-D-glycoside in Xinnaokang capsules were determined by basket-rolling method.RESUTLS:With water as releasing media,at a rotation rate of 100 r?min-1,the dissolution rate at 45 min was above 75% of the labeled amount.CONCLUSION:The method can be used for evaluation and control of the internal quality of Xinnaokang capsules.
5.Advances in the toxicokinetic models of cadmium
Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(11):1113-1117
Cadmium is a toxic heavy metal commonly seen in the environment. Long-term exposure to low dose of cadmium has toxic effects on multiple systems and organs of human body. The kinetic model is a new technology to quantitatively evaluate the correlation between internal and external exposure of chemicals, which can provide reliable information for risk assessment. There are two kinetic models of cadmium: toxicokinetic model (TK) and physiologically-based toxicokinetic model (PBTK). They have played a role in the establishment of cadmium exposure limits and risk prediction. This article reviews the construction, development, and limitations of the two models, and looks forward to the direction in which the models can be further optimized, providing the reference for risk assessment of cadmium exposure in China.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2001;0(01):-
Objectives To study a special pattern of electroencephalogram (EEG),regional attenuation without Delta in massive cerebral ischemic infraction and evaluate its clinical value. Methods All the 47 cases diagnosed as massive cerebral infraction were continuously observed and evaluated in the period of 2004 to 2006 for EEG,short-latency somatosensory evoked potential (SLSEP).Glasgow coma scale (GCS) and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) were also rated.EEG monitoring was performed every 1 to 3 day,but at least one time for patient with deteriorated condition. The outcome was evaluated with Glasgow outcome scale (GOS).Results 47 cases were performed 70 times of EEG all together, among whom 32 cases (68.1%) showed RAWOD in EEG.The positive rate of RAWOD was 76.9% within 24 hours of onset, but it was 28.6% in CT in the same time. The GCS and NIHSS of two groups had significant differences (P

9.Genetic Manipulation on Biosynthesis of Terpenoids
China Biotechnology 2006;0(01):-
Terpenoids constitute a chemically diverse family of naturally occuring compounds with pharmaceutical significance, such as artemisinin and taxin. They are synthesized in many kinds of microorganisms and plants with very low yield. Metabolic engineering, modifying metabolic pathways of terpenoids-synthesized cells by recombinant DNA techniques, has been developed and applied to improve the production of terpenoids, as well as create a novel biosynthesis pathway of terpenoids in terpenoid-free organisms. The biosynthetic pathway of terpenoids was sumed up, and recent progress of metabolic engineering aiming at raising content of terpenoids in microorganisms and plants was described.
