Objective To evaluate the value of echocardiography in patients with isolated anomalous origin of right pulmonary artery from ascending aorta. Methods The eehoeardiographie results of five patients with isolated anomalous origin of right pulmonary artery from ascending aorta were reviewed retrospectively. Results Severe pulmonary hypertension occurred in all the patients,besides accompanied with patent duetus arterious, no other congenital malformations combined. Three patients underwent operation. Patent ductus arterious was missed in one patient's diagnosis. Another patient was missed isolated anomalous origin of right pulmonary artery from ascending aorta in several echoeardiographic examinations, once misdiagnosed as complete transposition of the great arteries. Conclusions There are many anatomic and hemodynamic similarities in patients with isolated anomalous origin of right pulmonary artery from ascending aorta. Grasping their common charaeters and exploring multi-position and multi-section are helpful to make correct diagnosis.

Objective To explore the clinical effect of local prophylactic application of methotrexate(MTX) in laparoscopic linear salpingostomy. Methods The data of 102 women with confirmed unruptured tubal pregnancy and desire to conceive were collected.They were divided into two groups: the study group(local application of MTX in the operation,n=51) and the control group(without application of MTX,n=51).The demographic data,the incidence of persistent ectopic pregnancy(PEP)postoperation,and the hysterosalpingography(HSG) 3 months(postoperation) were analysed,and the side effects of the study group were observed. Results There was 1 case of PEP in the study group and 9 cases in the control group(2.0% vs 17.6%,P0.05).There were no obvious side effects such as nausea,vomit and dental ulcer in the study group. Conclusion Patients who were treated with local MTX injection during the laparoscopic linear salpingostomy present less incidence of PEP with no obvious side effects.

Objective:To investigate the mechanism of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO)in HepG2 cells contributing to tumor immune escape.Methods:T-lymphocyte and HepG2 cell were cocultured,and 1-methyl-tryptophan(1-MT)was added to make an intervening experiment.The expression of IDO mRNA in HepG2 cell cocultured with T-lymphocyte was detected by RT-PCR;the apoptosis rate of HepG2 cell cocultured with T-lymphocyte was analyzed by flow cytometer;The cytotoxicity of T-lymphocyte against HepG2 cell was examined by MTT assay.Results:In combine reaction system,the expression of IDO mRNA was strongly induced in HepG2 cell cocultured with T-lymphocyte and faintly induced when cultured with 1-MT;the earlier apoptosis rate of HepG2 cell in control group and experiment group(1-MT:1.25 mmol/l,2.5 mmol/l,5mmol/l)was respectively(3.48?0.34)%,(7.82?0.41)%,(18.62?0.42)%,(25.32?0.40)%(P

Objective To study the effects of gantry rotation time on image quality in 64-slice spiral CT. Methods Using the same CT technique and body mode as those used for 64-slice spiral CT, delta phantom was firstly layed on the isocenter, then scanned and reconstructed with SOMATOM Sensation 64-slice spiral CT. Slice sensitivity profile(SSP) was measured from which modulation transfer function (MTF) were got by Fourier transfer. The Catphan500 phantom was layed on the table, then scanned and reconstructed with SOMATOM Sensation 64-slice spiral CT. The maximum linepair and minimum size of the targets visualized. Results The MTF curve was nearly overlapped on 0.5 s and 1.0 s gantry rotation time, the values of 5% MTF were 11.3 LP/cm and 11.9 LP/cm. Their spatial resolution and low contrast resolution were completely identical.Conclusion The image quality is no distinction on 0.5 s group and 1.0 s group of gantry rotation time. In order to shorten the scan time and eliminate the breath defect, we suggest that the 0.5 s gantry rotation time be used routinely at body spiral scan mode.

AIM: To investigate the effect of natural medicinal monomer elemene (Ele) on apoptosis of lens epithelial cells (LEC) and its the cellular and molecular mechanism in vitro. METHODS: The bovine LEC were cultured with Ele and used to observe the ultrastructure changes under transmission electron microscope and to detect DNA content and mitochondrial transmenbrane potential (??m) changes by flow cytometry. RESULTS: The typical morphological changes of LEC apoptosis in Ele group were observed under transmission electron microscope, such as chromatin condensation and aggregation at the nuclear periphery, and nuclear fragmentation as well. Obiective To elaborate the application of PCT/CT orientation Gamma Knife in the body.Methods From May, 2007 to May, 2008, PET/CT equipment was used on 120 cases with gamma knife body positioning and image fusion, Re-sults The PET/CT scan may not have iodine in the contrast agent to enhance the effective conduct of tumor imaging and CT position provides more simple and more accurate image information to guide target(GTV) of the outline. Conclusion The PET/CT in the gamma knife treatment can improve in the positioning accuracy of GIN, and improve treatment opportunity for iodine allergy patients.

Objective To evaluate the clinical toxicity and efficacy of S-1 combined with γ-ray body stereotactic radiation therapy in treatment of locally advanced pancreatic cancer.Methods Forty-five patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer were randomly divided into two groups.The combination group received γ-ray stereotactic body radiation therapy which was given isodose curve of 50 ％-60 ％,tumor encircling dose of 3.0-4.5 Gy per fraction depended on dimension of tumors,9-12 fractions.Combined with S-1 40 mg/m2,2 times/d,for consecutive twenty-one days for four courses.The control group was given γ-ray stereotactic body radiation therapy only.Toxicities and effects were evaluated according to the criteria of WHO and RTOG.Results The CR rates in combination group and control group were 30.4 ％ (7/23) and 13.6 ％ (3/22),the response rates were 91.3 ％ (21/23) and 63.6 ％ (14/22) (x2 =4.980,P =0.026).The rates of gastrointestinal tract side reaction in combination group and control group were 82.6 ％ and 68.2 ％ (x2 =1.267,P =0.260),myelosuppression in combination group and control group were 78.3 ％ and 63.6 ％ (x2 =1.171,P =0.279).The rate of Ⅲ-Ⅳ grade myelosuppression in combination group were higher than that in control group (x2 =4.874,P =0.027).The median progression-free survival (PFS) rates of two groups were 8 months and 6 months respectively (x2 =1.357,P ＞ 0.05),the median survival period were 17 months and 14 months (x2 =1.017,P ＞ 0.05),1 year survival rates were 60.9 ％ and 54.5 ％ respectively (x2 =0.184,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions S-1 combined with body gamma system treatment can improve local control rate and effective rate for inoperable patients with local advanced pancreatic carcinoma,and the adverse reactions are well tolerated.This method can be used as locally advanced pancreatic cancer chemoradiation safe and effective choice.
