Methods Clenbuterol in blood samples was extracted with 5 different methods, the extracts from various extraction methods were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS?雪. The efficiency of 5 extraction methods was compared with each other. Results The standard curve showed good linear relationship with a range from 0.01-10.0 mg/L clenbuterol hydrochloride(r=0.999 9?雪. The detection limit was 0.005 mg/L. After adding 1.0 ?g/ml clenbuterol hydrochloride into blood sample, the blood sample was immersed and extracted in 0.01 mol/L HCl and absolute alcohol. The extracts were extracted by chloroform at pH value of 11. Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(04):-
Objective To compare adaptive support ventilation (ASV) and pressure-controlled assist/control ventilation (PCMV) and evaluate the clinical effects of ASV. Methods 12 cases of acute respiratory failure patients induced by all causes were selected in the study. All patients with breathing independently underwent endotracheal intubation. The patterns of mechanical ventilation was PCMV-ASV-PCMV. the two settings of PCMV were uniformity. With ASV mode mechanical ventilation,we adjusted the percentage of minute ventilation (MV%) and ideal body weight (IBW) of patients,so as to reach the same minute ventilation volume of PCMV. We compared the blood gas, respiratory mechanics, work of breathing(WOB),airway occlusion pressure (P0.05). Compared with the first of PCMV,various indicators and blood gas of ASV had no significant difference, work of breathing (WOB),airway occlusion pressure (P=0.1) and inspiratory pressure time product (PTP) were significantly lower (P0.05). Conclusion ASV can get similar goals with conventional ventilation, and reduce patient′s effort and the central respiratory drive.

BACKGROUND:Due to different pathogenesis of degenerative and isthmic lumbar spondylolisthesis, the differences in sagittal spino-pelvic morphology and life quality between them are stil unclear.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the differences in sagittal spino-pelvic morphology and life quality between degenerative and adult isthmic lumbar spondylolisis patients.
METHODS:From May 2012 to February 2015, 169 lumbar spondylolisthesis patients with complete imaging data were included in the study. Degenerative group contained 83 patients, and isthmic group contained 86 patients. The folowing radiographical parameters were measured on standard standing lateral radiographs of the entire spine, including thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis, sagittal vertical axis, pelvic incidence, pelvic tilt and sacral slope. Meanwhile, slippage angle, slippage percentage and slippage distance ofal patients were also measured. SF-36 scale was employed to evaluate life quality, which was compared between groups.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Lumbar lordosis, thoracic kyphosis and slippage angle were significantly lower in the degenerative group than those in the isthmic group (P< 0.05-0.01). The sagittal vertical axis in degenerative group was higher than that in isthmic group (P< 0.01). (2) With respect to the domains of SF-36 scale, degenerative group had lower physical functioning score and social functioning score compared with the isthmic group (P< 0.01). (3) Pelvic incidence, pelvic tilt, sacral slope, slippage percentage and slippage distance showed no significant difference between two groups (P> 0.05). (4) Results suggested that pelvicmorphology between the degenerative and isthmic lumbar spondylolisthesis was similar. Compared with degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis, isthmic spondylolisthesis patients have higher thoracic kyphosis, lumbar lordosis and slippage angle. In addition, notable limitations of physical functioning and social functioning were found in degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis patients.

Objective Platelet aggregation, activation induced by bubbles is the main cause of decompression sick-ness.Clopidogrel(Clo) can decrease platelet aggregation through inhibiting the bind of fibrinogen and ADP .This study is designed to find if Clopidogrel can paly a protective role in decompression sickness and explore the intervention mechanism . Methods Totally 111 male SD rats divided into 3 groups:normal control group (n=20), decompression sickness(DCS) group(n=46), and DCS+Clo(Clopidogrel)treated decompression sickness (DCS+Clo)group(n=45).The rats in DCS and DCS+Clo group were placed in chamber and compressed to 1.5 MPa at speed of 2t/4 , the time of compression and res-idence was 4.5 min totally, then decompressed to surface at a speed of 3 m/s.The mortality and behavioral of rats were ob-served within 30 min post decompression .The pathology and the wet/dry ratio of lung , WBC and platelet counts in periph-eral blood, the expression of activated platelets , and immunohistochemical detection of lung tissue CD 41 expression were also been tested .Results We found Clo reduces the DCS mortality risk ( mortality rate:11/45 in DCS+Clo group vs 28/46 in DCS group, P<0.01).Clo reduced the lung injury, the wet/dry ratio of lung, the accumulation of platelet and leu-kocyte in lung , the WBC counts and activated platelets in peripheral blood .Conclusion Clo can play a protective role in decompression sickness through reducing post-decompression platelet consumption and activation , decreasing the activation of leukocytes .

Through a series of chemical reactions, a kind of quaternary ammonium salt derivative of nanodiamond, ND-CO-NH-CH2-CH2-N ( CH3 ) 3+· I-( QAS-ND ) , was obtained , which was confirmed by FTIR, element analysis experiment and the electrochemistry measurements. Mixed myoglobin ( Mb) and QAS-ND solution was dropped on the surface of the glassy carbon ( GC ) electrode to prepare QAS-ND/Mb/GC modified electrode. In 0. 1 mol/L phosphate buffer solution (PBS) (pH 7. 0), Mb in the membrane exhibited direct electrochemical properties and showed good stability. The electrocatalytic property of the modified electrode toward H2 O2 was investigated, the results showed that the modified electrode could be used as the H2O2 biosensor to achieve fast, accurate detection of H2O2, with a detection limit of 3. 5 mmol/L (S/N=3).

Objective To determine whether Ca2+ activated Cl- current(Icl(Ca)) contributes to the functional remodeling of the failing heart. Methods Whole cell patch-clamp recording technique was employed to record the Icl(Ca) in cardiac myocytes enzymatically isolatedfrom rapidly pacing induced canine failing hearts at room temperature and compared that of the normal hearts (Nor). Results Thecurrent density of DIDS(200M)sensitive Icl(Ca) induced by intracellular Ca2+ release trigged by L-type Ca2+ current(Ica,L)wassignificantly decreased in heart failare(HE)cells compared to Nor cells. At membrane voltage of 20mV,the Icl(Ca) density was 3.02±0.54 pA/pF in Nor(n=6)vs.1.31±0.25 pA/pF in HF(n=8)cells,(P<0.01),while the averaged Ica,L density did not show differencebetween two groups. The time constant of current decay of Icl(Ca) was similar in both types of cells. On the other hand,in intra cellularCa2+ clamped mode, where the[Ca2+];was maintained at 100nmol/L,Icl(Ca) density be increased significantly in HF cells when themembrane voltage at+30mV or higher. Conclusions Our results suggest that Icl(Ca) density was decreased in pacing induced failingheart but the channel function be enhanced.Impaired Ca2+ handing in HF cells rather than reduced,Icl(Ca) channel function itself may havecaused this abnormality. The Icl(Ca) density reduction might contribute to the prolongation of action potential in failing heart. The Icl(Ca)channel function up-rugulation is likely to cause cardiac arrhythmia by inducing a delayed after depolarization, when Ca2+ overloadoccurred in diastolic failing heart cells.
