High-flow priapism is caused by sustained arterial inflow into the spaces from a lacerated cavernosal artery. This typically follows perineal trauma. Iatrogenic high-flow priapism occasionally follows the treatment of low-flow priapism and is a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Herein, we reported a case of iatrogenic high-flow priapism which developed after treatment of-flow priapism.

We recently encountered a case of stuttering priapism in a 41-year-old patient with neurosyphilis. Priapism very rarely has a neurogenic cause, and to our knowledge, priapism caused by neurosyphilis has not been reported previously in the literature. Our aim was to report this case and systematically review the related literature.

Priapism is a condition of prolonged erection, unassociated with sexual stimulation, which is usually painful We experienced two cases of idiopathic priapism, the one was cured by the corporal irrigation with normal saline containing heparin through the glans tip and the other by the corpora cavernosa-saphenous vein shunt. Postoperatively potency in these two cases was obtained.

Priapism is a relatively rare condition of persistent painful erection unaccompanied by sexual desire. We report two cases of priapism, one etiology is related to leukemia and the other is idiopathic. The former was treated with continuous Hemo-Vac drainage, the latter with corporal cavernosum spongiosum shunt, and the results were good.

High flow priapism is a nonischemic form of priapism. This results from unregulated, continuous arterial inflow to the lacunar spaces by trauma or idiopathic causes. It is clinically recognizable because the erection is painless and coporal aspiration yields bright red blood with a high pO2. We report a case of arterial high flow priapism secondary to perineal blunt trauma in 29-year-old man treated with embolization of cavernosal artery.
