Journal of Medical Research 2007;47(1):19-23
Background: Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) may reduce the numbers of platelets and cause platelet function disorder. Postoperative bleeding is one of the most common complications in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Objectives: (1) To study changes platelet count and platelet aggregation with ADP in patients undergoing CPB. (2) To identify the relationship between the postoperative bleeding and these parameters. Subjects and method: Crossectional descriptive study on 35 patients of three groups: congenital heart diseases, valvular heart diseases and coronary artery disease. Results: Platelet count and platelet aggregation with ADP reduce. Conclusion: There is a considerably change in the number of platelets and disturbance of platelet function in patients undergoing CPB. No remarkable evidence on relationship between posttoperative bleeding and above disorders.

3.Some evaluations on platelet aggregation in healthy elders
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):36-38
The study was conducted on 111 healthy elders. Results: The platelet aggregation index with ADP level of 10micromol/l that calculated by MA% in healthy elders is 62.03+/-9.95. There was no difference between male and female as well as between ages. This index was significantly higher in elders with hypertension and persistent energy insufficiency than in healthy elders.

Journal of Medical Research 2007;51(4):44-48
Background: Dyslipidemia is an important risk factor of atherosclerosis. The endothelia can be injured by plaque that advantages for platelet adheadsion, aggregation and produces thrombosis. Objectives: (1) To evaluate the changes of platelet aggregation induced by ADP and collagen in hyperlipidemic patients; (2) To identify the relationship between platelet aggregation and various types of dyslipidemia. Subjects and methods: A descriptive cross sectional non-randomised control trial method was employed in this study. A total of 128 hyperlipidemic patients (in which 40 patients were type IIa, 36 were type lib, and 52 were type IV), and a control group of 88 people were measured the aggregation in platelet - rich plasma (PRP) induced by ADP and collagen. Results: There was no significant difference about the platelet counts in both intervention and control groups (p>0.05). ADP and collagen induced platelet aggregation increased significantly (p<0.01) in intervention group when compared to control group. A significant correlation was found between the plasma triglyceride concentration and platelet aggregation induced by ADP and collagen with r = 0,335 and 0,332 respectively, while that of cholesterol and ADP was 0,304. Conclusion: Platelet aggregation increased in hyperlipidemic patients and had a significant correlation with plasma triglyceride concentration. \r\n', u'\r\n', u'

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2019;27(5):1622-1626
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze and compare the correlation of platelet aggregation rate measured by platelet analyzer, platelet aggregometer and thromboelastography.
METHODS:
The performance of platelet analyzer in platelet count and platelet aggregation function was evaluated. The platelet aggregation rate of 55 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) before and after taking aspirin alone (32 cases) and clopidogrel alone (23 cases) was measured by thromboelastography, platelet aggregometer and platelet analyzer respectively, and the analytical results were compared. The correlation between the results measured by different instruments and equipment were further analyzed and the data were included in the statistical analysis.
RESULTS:
The precision of platelet analyzer in day and in batch was 1/3 lower than the total error (7%). The contamination rate was 0.30%. The slope of regression equation was 1.02 and R was 0.99 in the linear range of 4.15×10/L to 1379.95×10/L. The coincidence rate of platelet count and platelet reference method was 85%, which met the requirements of industry standards. The platelet aggregation rates of patients with T2DM after clopidogrel or aspirin by using thromboelastography, platelet aggregometer and platelet analyzer respectively was significantly lower than those whom before clopidogrel administration (P<0.01).
CONCLUSION
Platelet analyzer can provide reliable, objective and accurate information for clinical detection of platelet count and aggregation function, which is meet the requirements of industry standards, and its results are similar to those of platelet aggregometer and thromboelastography.

8.Coagulation changes in the patients with heart valve diseases
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):68-69
Participants in this study were 50 patients with heart valve diseases who were 16 – 60 years old. In whom, 30 patients have arterial embolism and 20 patients have not. It was found that fibrinogen level has been increased in the patients with vascular embolism. The platelet counts have been increased and there were changes in platelet aggregation. Use of anti-coagulations such as heparin, urokinase and vitamin K provides benefits for variable disease levels if they are used with proper doses.

9.Value of tests of thrombocyte aggregation in some pathological conditions in the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1999;233(2):34-38
The study was carried out in normal adults, normal old people and patients aimed to assess the role of thrombocytes in coagulation abnormalities in some diseases using the test of thrombocyte aggregation is reduced significantly in patients with mild burn and severe burn compared with the patients with mild burn. Thrombocyte aggregation is raised significantly in old people with hypertension compared with normal old people. Also, 12.5% patients with hypertension without complications have a raised thrombocyte aggregation.
