1.Comprehensive evaluation of scientific research performance of medical college by Close-value method
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2020;33(2):106-110
Objective:To evaluate the scientific research performance of a medical college in Xiamen from 2012 to 2018 comprehensively, understand the scientific research situation in the past seven years to provide decision-making basis for scientific research management.Methods:9 evaluation indicators were selected to measure the scientific research performance of medical colleges during 2012-2018. On the basis of traditional Close-value method, weight is also adopted. Finally, the scientific research performance of the Institute was evaluated comprehensively by using parameter sensitivity analysis method. Results:The ranking results were calculated by close-value method, and the scientific research performance score in 2012 was 2.201, with the lowest quality; the scientific research performance score in 2018 was 0.021, with the highest quality. The sensitivity analysis of parameters showed that the quality of scientific research performance in 2018, 2017 and 2015 were good and stable. Conclusions:By introducing weights into the Close-value method and analyzing the sensitivity of parameters, the evaluation results are more reasonable, more reliable and practical, which has certain reference significance for the quality evaluation of scientific research performance of local medical colleges.
2.Role of "innovation and entrepreneurship training program for undergraduates" in the cultivation of scientific research ability of medical undergraduates
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2020;19(4):398-402
Objective:To explore the role of "innovation and entrepreneurship training program" in cultivating scientific research ability of medical undergraduates. Methods:A total of 122 students majored in clinical medicine were randomly selected; 62 of them in the control group were given traditional teaching, and 60 of them in the experimental group were given "innovation and entrepreneurship training program" on the basis of traditional teaching. At the end of the semester, questionnaire survey and final course assessment were conducted on students' scientific research ability, learning effect and comprehensive scientific research ability. SPSS 17.0 software was used to analyze the data. Chi-square test (α=0.05) was used for counting, and Mann-Whitney U rank test was used for ranking data. Results:Literature reading, scheme design, experiment recording, data analysis, problem finding, self-study ability, teamwork cooperation and clinical thinking ability of students in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group; score of experimental report in the experimental group was also significantly better than that in the control group ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Taking "innovation and entrepreneurship training program" as an opportunity to carry out training and practice of innovative thinking and ability in scientific research can improve the scientific research ability of medical undergraduates.
3.Establishment of Ph.D.Clinical Fund to promote scientific research in medical college:Taking Xiamen Medical College as an example
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2019;32(6):431-434
Objective To explore the effect of establishing doctoral research fund, provide reference for scientific research development at local medical colleges. Methods Chi-square test was conducted to find out the statistical difference of the project establishment and output of funded members in five years' time before and after the funding establishment. Results Before and after the establishment of the fund, the number of projects and papers published increased significantly, with statistical significance (P<0.05),and the growth rate of fund indicators was greater than the total growth rate of colleges. Conclusions Based on the connotation construction of scientific research at institutional level, establishment of the funding helps to improve the scientific research at medical colleges. In face of identified problems,it is suggested to improve management system of the fund, optimize the project process management, innovate the incentive mechanism and strengthen the integration of research team to promote the sustainable development of scientific research.
4.Analysis of the characteristics of scientific research misconduct and the prevention and treatment of medical research integrity
Chinese Journal of Medical Science Research Management 2024;37(5):384-390
Objective:This study aimed to explore the prevention and treatment of scientific research integrity based on the case analysis of scientific research integrity published in the National Natural Science Foundation of China in the past three years. Methods:A total of 295 cases of scientific misconduct were 2023 in eight batches of public notification from 2021 to 2023, statistical analysis was made on the characteristics of the personnel involved in the cases, the distribution of the occurrence stages, the disciplines of the papers, the types of periodicals, the types of misconduct in scientific research, to sum up the tendentious characteristics and laws of misconduct in scientific research.Results:66.15% of the personnel involved were senior professional titles, and 58.33% of the personnel were supported by medical scientific researchunits. According to the distribution of occurrence stages, he proportion of the misconduct papers was 15.25%, 1.69% and 85.96%, respectively. According to disciplinary distribution statistics, medical and biological papers account for 63.67% of misconduct papers, and papers published in SCI journals account for 84.90%. According to the types of scientific misconduct, the top three are: data falsification (47.80%), picture misuse (40.00%), and false name (28.81%). According to the classification of the subvention plate, the incidence of data falsification, picture misuse and generation-writing in the life medicine plate was significantly higher than that in the non-life medicine plate ( P<0.05). Conclusions:In order to prevent and combat the problem of academic misconduct in the field of medicine, it is necessary to establish the whole process supervision system of medical projects, strengthen the governance and supervision of medical journals, optimize the evaluation system of medical talents, and Tamp down the main responsibility of scientific research units.
