Objective To evaluate the compliance effect of secondary prevention on high risk patients of gastric cancer and to investigate their knowledge,attitudes,and practice about gastric cancer.Methods 206 high risk patients of gastric carcinoma cancer were investigated with questionnaires.Results of all cases,54 patients were compliant,69 patients semi-compliant,and 83 patients were not compliant in monitoring cohort.The results showed distribution of the compliant patients was significantly different with their gender,occupation and family income per person,and not significant with their education background.Conclusion The compliance and KAP of the patients on high risk for gastric cancer aren't satisfied,which needed to be enhanced in the future.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Yunkang granule combined with dydrogesterone in the treatment of early threatened abortion. METHODS:128 patients with early threatened abortion were randomly divided into single drug group and combined medication group,64 cases in each group. Single drug group received Dydrogesterone tablet with first dose of 40 mg,then 10 mg,q 12 h until vaginal bleeding;combined medication group additionally received 8 g Yunkang granule, tid,until symptoms disappeared. Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG),clinical symptoms remission time and disappearance time,pregnancy/childbirth complications,pregnancy outcome and neonatal adverse outcome,and the incidence of adverse reac-tions in 2 groups were compared. RESULTS:After treatment,HCG in 2 groups significantly increased,and combined medication group was higher than single drug group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);clinical symptoms remission time and disappearance time in combined medication group were shorter than single drug group,the difference was statistically signifi-cant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in incidence of pregnancy/childbirth complications,pregnancy outcome and neonatal adverse outcomes in 2 groups (P>0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in combined medication group was 10.9%, which was significantly lower than single drug group (40.6%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). CONCLU-SIONS:Both dydrogesterone alone and Yunkang granule combined with dydrogesterone show good efficacy in the treatment of ear-ly threatened abortion,but the remission time and disappearance time of clinical symptoms and adverse reactions in combined medi-cation group are less than that in single drug group.

OBJECTIVE To learn the molecular epidemiologic character of 21 genotypes of human papillomavirus(HPV).METHODS Totally 500 samples from women genital tract secretion were monitored by flow-through hybridization and gene chip,then studying the molecular epidemiologic character of HPV included HPV6,11,16,18,31,33,35,39,42,43,44,45,51,52,53,56,58,59,66,68,and CP8304.RESULTS The total positive rate of 21 genotypes of HPV was 53% in women cervicitis patients,high-risk HPV genotypes were 60% in all positive samples.Among 21 genotypes of HPV,the positive rate of HPV11 was the first(12.4%),but HPV16 positive rate was the first among high-risk genotypes(11.2%).Among the positive rates in different stage of years,the 21-30 years old group was the highest,the 31-40 years old group was the second,total of two groups was 76.6%.CONCLUSIONS The molecular epidemiologic results can be used in development of HPV vaccine,and in prevention and cure of HPV infection.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of phacoemulsification and individualized intraocular lens implantation in senile cataract patients with super high myopia.Methods Thirty-six cases of senile cataract patients with super high myopia with 49 eyes underwent phacoemulsification and individualized intraocular lens implantation,postoperative uncorrected distance visual acuity,best corrected visual acuity,diopter and surgical complications were observed.Results All surgical eyes visual acuity had improved to varying degrees,the postoperative far visual acuity in 0.05-0.30,the near visual acuity in 0.02-0.50,best corrected visual acuity 0.31-0.40 in 22 eyes (44.9％,22/49),≥ 0.5 in 14 eyes (28.6％,14/49).The postoperative diopter ＜-1.00 D in 3 eyes,-1.00 to-2.00 D in 16 eyes,-2.01 to-3.00 D in 27 eyes,and ＞-3.00 D in 3 eyes.Diopter difference with the goal ＜ ± 0.50 D in 21 eyes,± 0.50 D to ± 1.00 D in 18 eyes,＞ ± 1.00 D in 10 eyes.Postoperative corneal edema in 28 eyes,were completely disappeared within 1 week to 3 months,no retinal detachment and corneal decompensation and other serious complications.Conclusion Senile cataract patients with super high myopia are treated with phacoemulsification and individualized intraocular lens implantation,visions improve ideal and have good clinical efficacy.

OBJECTIVEThis study aims to investigate the color stability of ceromer with different thicknesses and different types of resin adhesive materials after accelerated aging and provide references for clinical application and selections.

METHODSNine groups of experimental samples were used, and each group contained five samples. We made joint samples with ceromer having three different thicknesses (1.00, 0.75, 0.50 mm) combined with three different resin adhesive materials (RelyX Veneer, RelyX Unicem, Filtek Z350 Flow), respectively. All samples were placed into Xenon Lamp Aging Instrument to implement accelerated aging. Spectrophotometer was used to measure the lightness (L*), red green color value (a*), and blue yellow color value (b*) of all samples before and after accelerated aging. The change of lightness (ΔL), red green color value (Δa), blue yellow color value (Δb), and color variation (ΔE) were also calculated. We investigated the influence of ceromer veneer thicknesses and resin adhesive material types on color variation by two-factor analysis of variance.

RESULTSThe thickness and type factors showed significant influence on ΔE values, and exhibited interactions (P < 0.05). The ΔE values of all experimental groups were lower than 3.3. After the accelerated aging process, all L*, a*, and b* values of the experimental groups decreased and the ΔL values were lower than 2.0.

CONCLUSIONCeromer veneer thickness and resin adhesive material types could affect the color stability of ceromer veneer and resin adhesive materials. The changes in lightness and color in ceromer veneer and resin adhesive materials are considered clinically acceptable after accelerated aging.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze and summarize clinical characteristic, treatment scheme and survival rate of primary melanom in nasal cavity and sinus. METHOD: We retrospectively analyzed the 9 patients with primary melanom in nasal cavity and sinus who in data proceed were treated and reviewed the related literature. RESULT: Among the 9 patients, the clinical main symptoms are rhinostegnosis of lateral nasal and intermittent nasal bleeding. Pathologic examination is mainly characterized by tumor cells abnormity and cytoplasm containing pigment or without pigment, and main diagnosis basis is some or all of the positive for HMB45, S-100, melan-A. The survival rate are 88.9% (8/9) of 1-year, 66.7% (6/9) of 3-year and 33.3% (3/9) of 5-year. CONCLUSION The incidence of primary melanom in nasal cavity and sinusis is not frequent in clinic and confirmed by immunohistochemical. The extensive radical excision of focus and combine adjuvant radiotherapy postoperative may improve the survival rate of patients.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the relative factors influencing olfactory dysfunction in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). METHOD: Visual analogue scale (VAS) was applied to measure the severity of olfactory dysfunction of 270 patients with CRS. Patients were divided into two groups, one was that the quality of life (QOL) of patients was affected by olfactory dysfunction (VAS > 5), the other was that without QOL affected by olfactory dysfunction (VAS ≤ 5). The association between age, gender, nasal polyps, allergic rhinitis, smoking history, early nasal surgery history and other clinical factors, and serum total IgE level, peripheral blood eosinophil count, peripheral blood mononuclear cell count and olfactory dysfunction was analyzed. RESULT: The number of patients with nasal polyps, allergic rhinitis, previous nasal surgeries, the level of serum total IgE, and the severity of edema were significantly increased in patients with impaired QOL associated with olfactory dysfunction (P < 0.05). Sex distribution, age, smoking history, deviation of nasal septum, eosinophil and mononuclear cell count did no statistically differ between the groups with and without impaired QOL associated with olfactory dysfunctions (P > 0.05). Serum total IgE increased (OR = 1.003, P < 0.01) and severe edema (OR = 2.483, P < 0.01) were the risk factors for the impairment of olfactory function, more notably for edema; whereas previous nasal surgeries was a protective factor (OR = 0.408, P < 0.01). CONCLUSION Sever edema and increased serum total IgE are risk factors, whereas previous nasal surgeries history is a protective factor for the olfactory dysfunction.

[ABSTRACT]AIM:ToinvestigatetheeffectofmiR-155-specificsiRNAaloneorincombinationwithcytosinear-abinoside (Ara-C) on the growth and apoptosis of Burkitt lymphoma Raji cells .METHODS: miR-155-specific siRNA and/or Ara-C were used to treat the cells .Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the expres-sion of miR-155.The growth of the cells was analyzed by CKK-8 assay.The cell apoptosis was determined by flow cytome-try.RESULTS:The miR-155 expression level of the cells transfected with miR-155 siRNA was significantly lower than that in the 2 control groups .Ara-C or miR-155 siRNA alone inhibited the growth of Raji cells in a dose-depend manner . miR-155 siRNA combined with Ara-C produced more inhibition of cell proliferation (P<0.05).After treatment for 48 h, the apoptotic rate of Raji cells in miR-155 siRNA+Ara-C group [(38.4 ±1.4)%] was higher than that in Ara-C group [(16.5 ±0.3)%] and miR-155 siRNA group [(14.6 ±0.3)%], with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The expression of caspase-3 in Ara-C+miR-155 siRNA group was increased significantly as compared with Ara-C group and miR-155 siRNA group.CONCLUSION:miR-155-specific siRNA enhances the chemosensitivity of Raji cells to Ara-C by inducing apoptosis through the caspase-3 pathway .

Objective To investigate the neuroprotective effect and possible mechanism of Compound Porcine Cerebroside and Ganglio-side Injection (CPCGI) on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods Healthy adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into sham group (n=10), model group (n=10), CPCGI low dosage group (n=10) and high dosage group (n=10), and control group (Ginkgo biloba extract, n=10). All the rats was subjected to middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) for two hours and reperfusion except sham group, and received treatment for fourteen days once reperfusion started. They were tested with modified Neurological Severity Score one, three, seven and fourteen days after MCAO, and adhesive-removal test and beam-walking test fourteen days after MCAO. The expression of Beclin1, PINK1 and Parkin were detected with Western blotting. Results Compared with the model group, the Neurological Severity Score reduced (P<0.05) and the time crossing the beam reduced (P<0.01) in all the medical groups fourteen days after MCAO, and the time removing the adhesive paper reduced in the CPCGI groups (P<0.01). The expression of Beclin1 and Parkin decreased and the PINK1 level increased in the model group (P<0.01), and it was reversed in all the CPCGI groups (P<0.05). Conclusion CPCGI could relieve the cerebral ischemia-re-perfusion injury in rats through the regulation in mitophagy.

OBJECTIVE To investigate risk factors of bloodstream infection in ICU.METHODS From May 2007 to Aug 2007,the operation of central venous catheter and the medical attendance of 24 cases with bloodstream infection were retrospectively analyzed.RESULTS Fifteen cases with infection(62.5%) were found in 7 days;ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae,Enterobacter,and Acinetobacter baumannii were the major pathogens.The major risk factors included severe underlying diseases,endovascular catheter operation and incorrect asepsis barrier.CONCLUSIONS The patients are severe in ICU.In order to control and prevent infection in ICU,effective measures should be taken,including taking strict aseptic treatment in central venous catheter and the medical attendance of catheters,and strengthen hygiene administration.
