Objective To investigate the expression of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) in endometriosis and analyze the relationship of 5-LOX and angionesis in endometriosis. Methods Immunochemical method was used to determine the expression of 5-LOX, VEGF, and the value of MVD in ectopic endometrium (ec-topic group) and eutopic endometrium (eutopic group) of 32 patients with EMs and in eutopic endometrium ( control group) of 25 patients without EMs. Result The expressions of 5-LOX and VECF and the value of MVD in ectopic groups were 0. 43 ± 0.09,0. 39 ±0.07 and 0.40 ± 0.09, respectively, which were higher than that of eutopic group and control group. The expressions of 5-LOX and VEGF and the value of MVD in eutopic group were 0. 35 ± 0. 08, 0.30 ± 0. 06 and 0. 33 ± 0. 08, respectively, which were higher than that of control group ( P <0.05). In ectopic group, the expressions of 5-LOX and VEGF, and the value of MVD in stage III/IV, were much higher than that of stage I/II ( P <0. 05); the expressions of 5-LOX and VEGF and the value of MVD were related to the severe of endometriosis through Spearman correlation analysis. The expressions of 5-LOX were shown to be significantly related to the expressions of VEGF and the value of MVD in ectopic and eutopic groups ( P <0. 05). Conclusion There is a high expression of 5-LOX in endometriosis, suggesting that 5-LOX may be participate in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. 5-LOX may promote angiogenesis of EMs through up - regulating the expression of VEGF.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(06):-
Objective:To evaluate the wear resistance of four types of composite resin when they were opposed by human enamel antagonist. The relationship between pH value and wear resistance was also evaluated. Methods:Mutual wear between four types of composite resins(3 mm?20 mm?1 mm),Beautifit(B),SureFilTM(S),TE-Econom(T),Charisma (C),with same rough surface and opposing enamel was evaluated using a wear simulator of UMT-2 (n=10).Wear resistance was assessed as weight loss(g).The worn surfaces were observed with scanning electron microscope(SEM).All data were statistically analyzed with SPSS14.0.Results:SEM observation showed that the fillers particles of resin B,S were bigger than that of the others. Fillers of resin C was the smallest and the most well-distributed. Many filler particles were lost. In the acid environment, the enamel surface had the special appearance. The S,C,T composite resins were less worn. The weight loss of the T,B,S composite resins increased when pH value fell down to 4.0 (P0.05).Conclusion:The wear resistance among the different brands of composite resins are discrepant. The weight loss might be accelerated with the decreased pH value.

Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(11):845-848
In surgical operation of the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC),the resection of lymph node involvement is highly correlated with the prognosis of NSCLC patients. The precise estimation of localized lymph node involved and the determination of relevant pattern of lymphadenectomy are the significant predictors for the prognosis and postoperative treatment in NSCLC patients. Therefore to identify the lymph node metastasis earlier has more important significance for tumor clinical staging and making therapeutic schedule. In recent years, the value of sentinel lymph node (SIN) has attracted more and more researchers attention in detecting the occult lymph node micrometastases and surgical staging.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression of high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) in gingival tissues of chronic periodontitis.
METHODSHuman peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) were stimulated with 1 microg x mL(-1) lipopolysaccharide (LPS) for 24 h or 48 h. Expression and release of HMGB1 were checked by immunofluorescence and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), respectively. PBMC were stimulated with 100 ng x mL(-1) HMGB1 or 50 ng x mL(-1) tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), the expressions of TNF-alpha and HMGB1 in the supernatant were studied by ELISA. Gingival tissues and gingival crevicular fluids (GCF) were collected from patients and healthy people. Expression of HMGB1 in gingival tissues and GCF was studied using immunofluorescence and ELISA, respectively.
RESULTSHMGB1 was translocated from nucleus to cytosol in PBMC after LPS stimulation for 24 h. The content of HMGB1 in the supernatant from stimulated cells was significantly higher than that from unstimulated cells after 48 h (P < 0.01). HMGB1 was released by PBMC in response to TNF-alpha stimulation, it also stimulated PBMC to release TNF-alpha (P < 0.01). Translocation of HMGB1 from nucleus to cytosol was also found in infiltrated cells in gingival tissues from patients, and HMGB1 in GCF from patients was significantly higher than that from healthy people P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe results suggest that HMGB1 may play an important role in the pathological progress of chronic periodontitis.

Objective:To investigate the predictive value of acute gastrointestinal injury (AGI) score for the severity of acute pancreatitis (AP), infectious pancreatic necrosis and patients′ death. Methods:Clinical data of 719 patients with AP were collected from the AP database of the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive System Diseases from January 2016 to June 2018. According to the severity of the disease, they were divided into MAP group (506 cases), MSAP group (112 cases) and SAP group (101 cases). AGI, APACHEⅡ, MCTSI and BISAP scores were calcululated in the three groups. Receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was drawn and the area under the curve (AUC) was calculated. The predictive value of the above four scoring systems for the hospitalization days, disease severity, infectious pancreatic necrosis and death was analyzed, respectively. Results:There were no cases of infectious pancreatic necrosis or death in the MAP group, but there were 9 cases of infectious pancreatic necrosis and 2 deaths in the MSAP group and 19 cases of infectious pancreatic necrosis and 8 deaths in the SAP group. There was a strong correlation between AGI score and AP patients′ hospitalization days ( r=0.619). AUC of AGI, APACHEⅡ, MCTSI and BISAP score in predicting the AP patients′ severity (MSAP+ SAP) was 0.967 (95% CI 0.951-0.982), 0.769(95% CI 0.720-0.899), 0.842(95% CI 0.809-0.875), 0.862 (95% CI0.832-0.893). AUC for forecasting infectious pancreatic necrosis was 0.803, 0.677, 0.692, 0.724, and the 95% CI was 0.724-0.882, 0.573-0.781, 0.582-0.636, 0.801-0.812. AUC for predicting death in patients with AP were 0.915, 0.597, 0.659, 0.812, and the 95% CI were 0.843-0.986, 0.444-0.751, 0.498-0.698 and 0.882-0.926. AGI score had the highest predictive value, followed by BISAP score, and the correlation between these two scores was the closest. The predictive value of AGI combined with BISAP score for infectious pancreatic necrosis and patient death (AUC were 0.837, 0.942, 95% CI were 0.770-0.903, 0.897-0.987) was better than that of AGI and BISAP score alone. Conclusions:AGI score combined with BISAP score is more effective in predicting the severity of AP, the occurrence of infectious pancreatic necrosis or patient death.

Chinese Journal of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Diseases 2014;32(5):366-369
OBJECTIVETo review the clinical features of acute toxicity of aromatic amino and nitro compounds.
METHODSA total of 110 papers reporting 1240 cases of acute toxicity induced by aromatic amino and nitro compounds from 1979 to 2013 were collected from CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang database, and were analyzed in this study.
RESULTSOf all included cases, 939 were caused by occupational exposure, and 301 were caused by exposure in daily life. A total of 1044 cases were male, and 196 were female. Age ranged from 9 days to 75 years. There were 13 cases of contact reaction. The numbers of mild, moderate, and severe toxicities were 358, 348, and 139, respectively, and the other 382 cases were not graded for severity. The average incubation period was 4.50±5.71 h (M = 3 h). The average incubation period of aniline toxicity was significantly shorter than that of nitrobenzene toxicity. Methemoglobinemia was found in 1146 cases, while cases of poisonings with 5-nitro-o-toluidine, 2-methyl-4-nitroaniline, and 3-chloro-2-methyl aniline were not found to have methemoglobinemia. The detection rates of MHb and HzB were 83.73% (674/805) and 40.19% (129/321), respectively. Sixty-two (19.31%) out of 321 cases were complicated by intravascular hemolysis, 270 (30.93%) out of 873 cases suffered hepatic impairment, 50 (12.25%) out of 408 cases were accompanied by renal damage. Consciousness disorders were found in 66 cases, and chemical cystitis was found in 36 cases. Oral poisoning could immediately induce severe symptoms including cyanosis, unconsciousness, and hemolysis. In prognosis analysis, it was found that the cure rate was 98.71% (1224/1240), and 14 cases of death were caused by multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, renal failure, uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock, myocardial infarction, and sudden death. Two cases were left with neurological sequelae.
CONCLUSIONThe clinical manifestations of poisoning with aromatic amino and nitro compounds are methemoglobinemia, intravascular hemolysis, liver damage, and renal damage. Treatment with specific medicine methylene blue can produce ideal clinical prognosis, but severe poisoning may cause death from multiple organ failure.
