Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy for the stress reaction during postoperative anesthesia recovery period in patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery. Methods:A total of 120 patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery were included, and all patients were under trachea intubation and general anesthesia. The patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group, with 60 patients in each group.Patients in the control group received conventional anesthesia resuscitation, while patients in the observation group received acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy on the basis of conventional anesthesia resuscitation.Changes in the heart rate (HR),systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were observed at three time points including the end of the surgery (TO),the removal of the tracheal tube (T1) and 10 min after the removal of the tracheal tube (T2).The awakening and tube removal time, choking cough and restlessness, and adverse reactions (dizziness, nausea and vomiting) in 24 h post-surgery period were compared. Results:At T1 and T2,the comparisons of HR,SBP and DBP between the two groups showed statistical significance (all P<0.05).Intra-group comparisons showed that the HR,SBP and DBP of the control group at T1 and T2 were significant different from those at TO (all P<0.05).There were significant differences in the awakening time and tube removal time between the two groups (both P<0.05).The incidences of choking cough and restlessness were 8.3% and 3.3% respectively in the observation group, versus 53.3% and 30.0% in the control group, and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (both P<0.05).The incidences of dizziness, nausea and vomiting in 24 h post-surgery period were 3.3%,5.0% and 0.0% respectively in the observation group, versus 43.3%,33.3% and 25.0% in the control group, and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (all P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy can effectively regulate the stress reaction during postoperative anesthesia recovery period in patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery, and maintain a stable internal environment.

Safety analysis suggested that no significant differences were found in symptoms and frequency of side effects between the two groups. Conclusion Bupropion hydrochloride tablet is an effective and safe antidepressant. It has similar effect and safety compared with fluoxetine in the treatment of depression.

Objective To investigate the anti-tumor effect of interferon-?(IFN-?) gene therapy on colon cancer. Methods BALB/c mice were inoculated subcutaneously with CT26 (murine colon carcinoma cell line) cells to prepare an in vivo tumor model. Eight days after tumor inoculation, the tumor-bearing mice were divided into 3 groups and injected intra-tumorally with one of the following preparations: pcDNA3-IFN-?/Lipofectamine,pcDNA3 /Lipofectamine,and PBS respectively. The expression of IFN-?,the immunity function of mice, the histological changes of the tumor, the tumor volume in tumor-bearing mice were tested after gene therapy. ResultsThe level of IFN-? in the serum and the CTL activity increased significantly( P

Objective To study the expression of serum interleukin (IL )-6 and IL-10 in sepsis patients ,and their correlations with immune function .Methods A total of 56 patients with sepsis were divided into three groups ,including 18 patients in sepsis group ,21 patients in severe sepsis group ,17 patients in septic shock group .All the patients were also divided into survivor and death group according to whether they survived within 2 weeks .Other 30 healthy persons were selected in the control group .Serum IL-6 and IL-10 ,CD4+ /CD8+ were detected and compared .Results Serum IL-6 and IL-10 levels in the three sepsis groups were significantly higher than those in control group ,and with the severity aggravating ,these indicators increased .The level of serum IL-6 in sepsis patients was significantly reduced at the 3rd day ,while there was no difference on the serum IL-10 in severe sepsis group and septic shock group compared with that at admission(P>0 .05) .Compared with survivor group ,serum IL-6 and IL-10 levels on both admission and the 3rd in death groups increased significantly (P<0 .05) .CD4+ ,CD8+ ,CD4+ /CD8+ were negative related with serum IL-6 and IL-10 in both severe sepsis and septic shock group (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The expression of IL-6 and IL-10 in patients with sepsis are over-expressive ,and closely related with disease activity and immune function .

Objective To study the injury and protective action of drugs on neurons, the model of glutamate excitotoxicity on primary cultured hippocampual neurons from new born rats were( set up. Methods)By use of trypan blue dye staning and testing the lactate dehydrogenase leakage from cultured neurons, to investigate the neuron survival rate. Results We found the injury of neurons was related with the concentration of glutamate. NMDAR non-competitive antagonist —MK-801 could protect the glutamate excitotoxic damage on neurons. Conclusion The glutamate results in neuron injury through NMDAR; the model of neuron culture was sufficient for glutamate-induced excitotoxicity.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution and bacterial resistance of nosocomial infection.METHODS The data of 45 hospitals from Shandong Provincial Nosocomial Surveillance System from Jan 2003 to Dec 2005 were analyzed.RESULTS Of total 5 626 isolates strains from the nosocomial infection cases,G-bacilli,G+ cocci and fungi accounted for 58.27%,25.84% and 15.89%,respectively.The ampicillin-resistant rate of commonly encountered G-bacilli was above 89%.There were 72.98% of E.coli resistant to ciprofloxacin. The rates of resistance of S.aureus and coagulase negative Staphylococcus to penicillin, ampicillin and erythromycin were all above 80%;the lincomycin-resistant rate of S.aureus increased gradually to 86.64%.CONCLUSIONS Drug resistance of the nosocomial infective bacteria is a serous problem.Surveillance of bacterial resistance should be strengthened.
10.Expression of Maf-b mRNA in de novo leukemia patients and its clinical significance.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2010;18(5):1147-1150
This study was aimed to quantitatively detect the level of maf-b mRNA in leukemia patients and evaluate its clinical significance. Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect the relative expression level of maf-b mRNA. The expression change of maf-b mRNA in various types of leukemia was analyzed. Then, the relationship of maf-b mRNA expression with laboratory index and the response to chemotherapy was analyzed. The results showed that maf-b mRNA expression level in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients was lower than that in normal group (p<0.01) and positively correlated with white blood cell count (p<0.01) and the expression of CD34 (p<0.01). There was no correlation between maf-b mRNA expression level and chemotherapy response in AML patients except for acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). Maf-b mRNA expression levels in acute lymphoid leukemia (ALL) and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients were also lower than that in normal group (p<0.01). It is concluded that there is low expression of maf-b gene in AML patients. Abnormal expression of maf-b correlates with abnormal proliferation of AML cells, which may be a new prognostic factor for AML.
