1.Orbital complication in endoscopic sinus surgery: a case report.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(14):1082-1084
Acute and chronic infection of sinus could expand to orbital cavity. As the technique and equipment of endoscopic surgery are getting popular and renewal, endoscopic sinus surgery is being used widely and profoundly, which improves the surgical effect of nose and sinus diseases greatly. However, the complications are not decreased rather than traditional surgery. The rate of orbital complication is the highest of all endoscopic sinus surgery. This paper present a case report about orbital complication due to sinusitis or endoscopic sinus surgery and related literature were reviewed.

2.Plantar pressure of normal people with different body mass index
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(23):3730-3735
BACKGROUND:Body mass is a critical factor affecting plantar pressure, and the systematic study on plantar pressure with different body mass has not been reported.OBJECTIVE:To measure the plantar pressure of normal people with different body weight,so as to provide reference for the application of plantar pressure.METHODS:Totally 80 healthy people with different body weight were enrolled, and the dynamic plantar pressure was measured by the Footscan 2 meter flat foot pressure distribution system (RSscan,Belgium). The participants were divided into four groups (n=20 per group) according to the classification criteria for prevention and control of overweight and obesity in Chinese adults, such as underweight, normal weight, overweight group, and obesity groups, and a comparative analysis was conducted.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) The peak pressure and impulse of each region of the foot were significantly increased with body mass index increasing (P < 0.05).Compared with the normal weight people, the pressure of the part foot area of the overweight subjects and each part foot area of the obese subjects were significantly increased (P < 0.05).(2) The percentage of the medial plantar contact area accounting the total contact area of the foot was significantly increased with body mass index increasing (P < 0.01);the percentage in the obese group was significantly higher than that in the normal group (P < 0.05).(3) These results show that the plantar pressure and impulse are increased in overweight and obese subjects due to weight gain, and foot will appear with pathological changes with time going.Obese people suffer from arch drop due to weight gain, and increase in contact area of midfoot, which are easy to cause flatfoot.Overweight especially obese, should pay attention to control weight,do appropriate exercise, wear suitable shoes, protect the foot, further to prevent the occurrence of foot injury and flatfoot.
3.Tumor stem cells and glioma initiating cells
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(08):-
The tumor stem cell theory supposed that tumor stem cells are the origin of tumor abnormal proliferation, invasion, metastasis, drug resistance and recurrence. As the theory is put forward,it redefines the functions of classic stem cells in tumorigenesis. It is a great event for recent studies on glioma initiating cells as brain tumor stem cells were identified and isolated successfully.A lot of evidence from experiments in vivo and in vitro demonstrates that brain tumor stem cells might play an important role in glioma tumorigenesis. In this review,we discuss the relationship between tumor stem cells and tumorigenesis, and the research on the correlation between brain tumor stem cells and glioma genesis.
4.Advances in silent bran infraction
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2013;21(5):363-368
Silent brain infarction (SBI) is mainly diagnosed by brain imaging which is more common in the elderly population. It is considered as the early clinical stage of symptomatic cerebral infarction and cognitive impairment. Its risk factors include age, history of smoking, hypertension, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, carotid atherosclerosis, chronic kidney disease, atrial fibrillation, and obstructive sleep apnea. The related serum biological markers include high-sensitivity C reactive protein, homocysteine, cholesterol, uric acid, and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1.This article reviews the advances in research on the imaging characteristics, risk factors, serum biological markers and clinical significance of SBI.
5.Perioperative nursing of patients undergoing subclavian artery bypass grafting
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(33):18-19
Objective To discuss clinical nursing points of patients undergoing left-right subclavian artery bypass grafting. Methods Effective nursing measures for 11 patients undergoing left-right subcla-vian artery bypass grafting preoperation, during the operation and postoporation were summarized retrospec-tively. Results All 11 patients were cured after systematic nursing postoperation. Conclusions Sys-tematic perioperative nursing plays a pivotal role in ensuring surgical effect and improving rehabilitation.

8.Application and Evaluation of OTD Method in Teaching of Rehabilitation Medicine
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(10):996-997
Objective To evaluate the effect of OTD(observation-teaching-discussion) method in teaching of kinesiology of rehabilitation medicine. Methods 110 students majoring in rehabilitation medicine were divided into two groups, routine teaching group(56 students) and OTD teaching group(54 students),and the teaching effect was evaluated by exam score and questionnaire. Results There were obvious difference in the exam score and questionnaire between two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion In the teaching of medical rehabilitation,OTD method is more advantageous than routine method in bring up students' study interest, the initiative spirit, and the ability of self-study and analyzing.
9.Advance on vitamin D in the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorders
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2021;36(2):158-160
Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a kind of neurodevelopmental disorder.Despite the high prevalence of ASD, no definite pathogenesis of ASD has yet been elucidated to date.Accumulating evidence indicated that the pathogenesis of ASD may be related to genetic, environmental and immune factors.Studies has been shown that vitamin D(Vit D)deficiency is negatively correlated with the prevalence of ASD, and that supplementation with Vit D may reduce the risk of ASD.Because of the extensive physiological functions of Vit D, it can act as a steroid hormone in multiple aspects such as genetic, environment and immune profiles.Meanwhile, the genetic, environmental and immune changes could also affect the metabolism and function of Vit D, and vice versa. Therefore, Vit D deficiency probably lead to the development of ASD.This review focuses on the relationship between Vit D and environmental, genetic and immune factors of ASD.
