4.Multidrug-resistant Bacteria Infection in Newborn Department
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 1994;0(04):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate multidrug-resistant bacteria infection in newborn department, for rationally use of antibiotic. METHODS A total of 1927 patients in newborn department scientific were investigated for their multidrug-resistant bacteria infection. RESULTS There were no statistical differences of multidrug resistance bacteria infection in the four seasons. From 1927 newborn patients,128 patients were with multidrug-resistant bacteria infection, the positive rate was 6.64%,83.59% origin of Society area,in 128 patients children of multidrug resistance bacteria infection, happen infection were 134 example 86.57% were respiratory tract infection,70.83% resistance bacteria including Klebsiella pulmonary, appear multidrug resistance bacteria infection previous 62.28% were use antibiotic. CONCLUSIONS Newborn deartment The multidrug resistance bacteria infection is related to occurved in newborn department abuse and unrationaly use of antibiotics. Its should be strengthened to supervise and manage.
5.Difficulty Point of Work in Department of Nosocomial Infection Management:Investigation and Countermeasure
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(08):-
OBJECTIVE To improve the work quality in department of nosocomial infection management, and make the "The Year of Hospital Management" action go on effectively.METHODS To look into and analyze the difficulty point in the work of nosocomial infection management.RESULTS Lots of difficulty points about nosocomial infection management existed in departments of nosocomial infection management of 24 hospitals and affected the management quality of nosocomial infection.CONCLUSIONS Solving the difficulty points about nosocomial infection management,it can make the work of nosocomial infection go on smoothly, and improve the medical care quality.
6.Dissecting and Identifying the Ureter and Uterine Arteries is Necessary at the Laparoscopic Hsterectomy
Journal of Chinese Physician 2002;0(S1):-
Objective To search for the technique of increased safety and diminished blood loss through laparoscopic hysterectomy. Methods A technique for dissecting the pelvic retroperitoneum and identifying the ureters and uterine arteries was used in the right pelvic side wall. The left side was used a non-anatomical approach. Visualization of the right ureter necessitate opening the peritoneum of the right pelvic side wall. A technique of identification and dissection the right ureter and the uterine vessels retroperitoneal at the initiation of laparoscopic hysterectomy was used. First, the obliterated hypogastric arteries were identified retroperitoneally. Second, the paravesical and the pararectal spaces are developed. Finally, the ureter and the uterine vessels were easily identified from the pararectal space. Once the retroperitoneal dissection had been completed and vital structures identified, hysterectomy be carried out. Results WT Fifty patients underwent this procedure. Right pelvic side wall versus left mean operation time was 33 min versus 22 min, and the mean blood loss was 12 versus 30 ml. It took 21 min on average to identify the right ureter and the uterine vessels retroperitoneal. Conclusion Identification and dissection of the ureter and the uterine vessels retroperitoneal is an acquired skill. This technique increases safety and diminishes blood loss. The uterine arteries and the uterosacral ligament are confidently desiccated once the path of the ureter near is identified. A non-anatomical approach to laparoscopic hysterectomy may be easier to learn, but it is neither very versatile nor safe.

AIM: To construct full length hCD59 eukaryotic and extracellular domain of hCD59 (hsCD59) prokaryotic expression vectors and prepare polyclonal antibody of hCD59. METHODS: cDNA fragments encoding hCD59 and hsCD59 were amplified from human PBMCs by RT-PCR and cloned into the eukaryotic vector pVAX-1 and prokaryotic vector pGEX-KG, respectively. The recombinant fusion protein GST-hsCD59 was expressed in E. coil BL21 induced by IPTG. Then the fusion protein was purified and identified. Polyclonal antibody against hCD59 was prepared by immunizing rabbit with pVAX-1-hCD59 and boosting with GSThsCD59 fusion protein, and the titer was identified. RESULTS: The recombinant eukaryotic vector pVAX-1-hCD59 and prokaryotic vector pGEX-KG-hsCD59 were successfully constructed. The GST-hsCD59 fusion protein was over-expressed in E. coli BL21 and the relative molecular mass (M~r) of the expression product was identical with predicted size. The titer of the anti-hCD59 serum was 1:3 200. CONCLUSION: We got the recombinant eukaryotic vector pVAX-1-hCD59, prokaryotic vector pGEX-KG-hsCD59 and rabbit anti-hCD59 polyclonal antibody successfully. These work would be helpful for the further study of the biological function of human CD59.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2005;0(06):-
In order to evaluate the effect of multimedia-assisted teaching on stomatology courses and find out the appropriate teaching methods for non-stomatology medical students,we investigated the distribution of examination scores, diagnostic accuracy of ordinary diseases and accuracy of problem-based learning(PBL) results of multimedia-assisted teaching and traditional teaching means. The examination scores were closer to standard distribution, and the diagnostic and PBL results accuracy increased among students with multimedia-assisted teaching.Compared with traditional teaching means,multimedia-assisted teaching may improve the teaching quality in non-stomatology medical courses.

Currently,China is confronted with the situation of high quality papers and low impact journals.Quality and quantity of English science, technology and medical(STM) journals in our country can not meet the publishing demand of scientific research papers, which becomes the inner boost of developing English STM journals.Along with the implementation of Project for Enhancing International Impact of China STM Journals,a growing number of STM journals launched international cooperation in journal publishing. This paper introduced Genes & Diseases' strategy of launching and managing English journals in cooperation with foreign publisher.Genes & Diseases strictly follows international publishing practice. The editorial office of Genes & Diseases fully aroused the enthusiasm of editors, editorial board members and the editor-in-chief to solicit manuscripts.Meanwhile, the office of Genes & Diseases took advantages of website, social media,Emails, meeting and academic activity, etc to promote the journals. All these experiences can be used as references for those intended or already started to lunch English STM journal.
