Objective To study the effect of baicalin on the content of glutamate acid (Glu), aspartic acid (Asp), ?-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain of rat with experimental intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods The intracerebral hemorrhage rat model was induced by collagen enzyme + heparin sodium. The rats were randomly divided into sham group, model group and high, middle, low dose group of baicalin. Rats were treated with the physiological saline and different concentration of baicalin respectively. The brain of each group was taken out three days later and the brain homogenate was prepared. The content of Glu, Asp and GABA was measured with the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The effects of reaction temperature, pH, substrate and enzyme concentration, deacetylation degree of chitosan on the hydrolytic velocity of chitosan by Lysozyme were investigated. The results showed that the specificity of catalyst obey the dynamics of michae-lis-Menten. The optimum temperature and pH were 50℃ and 6. 0 respectively, the reaction velocity was reduced while the deacetylation degree of chitosan was raised. The mean molecular weight of low molecular chitosan has been determined by high performance liquid chro-matography method, the mean molecular weight was 8328.

Objective:To assess the vision-related quality of life(VRQoL) of the patients with simple vitreous hemorrhage after vitrectomy and analyze its influencing factors.Methods:A scale of life quality for patients with visual impairment(AQoL-DVI) were administered to 96 patients before and 6 months following vitrectomy.Scale scores were compared with vison preoperatively and postoperatively.Results:The lowest scores were at the item of "social life" and "spiritual and psychological status" before the surgery.The scores of the questionnaires increased significantly after vitrectomy.The change of visual acuity after surgery was a chief independent factor of the changes of questionnaire scores due to vitrectomy.Conclusion:The quality of life of patients with simple vitreous hemorrhage decreases sharply.VRQoL improves obviously after vitrectomy.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical efficacy of cannulated screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction for the treatment of Sanders II, III calcaneal fracture.

METHODSFrom January 2012 to January 2014, 19 patients with Sanders II, III calcaneal fracture were treated with cannulated screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction. There were 14 males and 5 females, ranging in age from 19 to 58 years old, with an average age of (38.3 +/- 4.1) years old. The changes of Bohler angle and Gissane angle were measured and compared preoperatively and postoperatively to observe the recovery of the articular surface. The Maryland Foot Score was used to evaluate operation outcomes.

RESULTSAll the patients were followed up, and the duration ranged from 12 to 28 months with a mean of (22.3 +/- 5.3) months. The Bohler angle and Gissane angle were improved significantly after operation compared with those before operation (P < 0.05). The Maryland score was 83.2 +/- 8.4.

CONCLUSIONTreatment of calcaneal fractures with screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction has several advantages such as satisfactory outcome,less damage, fewer complications, quicker recovery, and shorter hospital stay,and it is one of the effective treatments for Sanders II and III calcaneal fractures.

Objective To study the correlation between serum adiponectin along with insulin resistanee and vascular dilation function in patients with different rates of glucose metabolism.Method A total of 83 patients aged 50-65 years,including 17 with normal glucose tolerance(NGT),22 with impaired fasting glucose (IFG),23 with impaired glucose tolerance(IGT)and 21 with diabetes(DM)were enrolled. Serum adiponectin was measured,and homeostasis model assessment for insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR)and B cell function index were used to evaluate the function of insulin secretion before and during oral glucose tolerance test(OGTr).The brachial artery responses to flow-mediated endothelium-dependent vascular dilation(EDVD)and nitroglycerin-mediated vascular dilation (EIVD) were evaluated by using the vascular ultrasound with high resolution.Results The serum adiponectin and EDVD decreased that the degrees of reduction from slightness to greatness were in turn from NGT,IFG,IGT to DM,whereas,the insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) increased just in reverse order.Adiponectin was negatively associated with HOMA-IR(r=-0.353,P<0.01)but positively associated with EDVD and EIVD(rl=0.391,r2=0.375,P<0.01),and was not associated with HOMA-B.On the other hand,EDVD was not associated with HOMA-IR(P>0.05).In a multiple regression analysis with a stepwise manner to predict adiponectin concentration and EDVD.HOMA-IR was supposed to predict adiponectin concentration.Meanwhile APN but not HOMA-IR was used to predict EDVD(P<0.05).Condusions The decrease in serum adiponectin,endothelial dysfunction and insulin resistance can be observed in the early stage of impaired glucose metabolism. Serum adiponectin concentration appears to be associated with vascular function and insulin resistance.The association between serum adiponectin concentration and vascular function seems to be independence from its link with insulin resistance index.

Professional postgraduates in geriatric medicine are one of the most important re-courses of geriatric specialists. However, training model for geriatric postgraduates is still unclear in China. In general, geriatric medicine has no independent training plan, and is included in internal medicine training. Such model cannot represent the feature of geriatric medicine. The present paper aimed to discuss the ability construction for geriatric postgraduates based on the geriatric medicine specialist training experience both at home and abroad, including diagnosis and treatment of multi-system diseases, ability of geriatric assessment, management of geriatric syndromes, consultation for geriatric rehabilitation and ability for continuity health service in order to cultivate the compound tal-ents suitable for the aging society requirement for geriatric medicine in China.

Objective To investigate the expression pattern of skeletal muscle specific miR-206,myogenesis related myoD which change with time in dcnervated muscle atrophy rats.Methods From June,2015 to January,2016,40 SPF sprague-dawley rats were equally classified into 5 groups randomly according to standard settled before,5 groups were separately defined as denervated 0d group,denervated 1d group,denervated 7d group,denervated 14d group,and denervated 28d group.Each group contained 8 rats.The rats atrophy models were established by cutting sciatic never on left side.According to the different denervated time,the gastrocnemii on both sides were obtained under anesthesia,respectively.The wet weight ratio of two compared gastrocnemii were measured,and the gastrocnemii transection was observed by HE stain,measured the expression of myoD protein by western blot,obtained the expression of miR-206,myoD mRNA by qPCR.Results According to our study on rats denervated atrophy models,the wet ratio of compared gastrocnemius would decrease rapidly,by HE stain,decease of cross sectional area in muscle fiber was observed as well as degeneration.Collagen fibers hyperplasia appeared and increased with time change.Wet ratio and transaction aera ratio of group Od,1d,7d,14d,28d were 0.99±0.04,0.92±0.07,0.68±0.11,0.39±0.06,0.27±0.07 and 0.99±0.02,0.96±0.04,0.51±0.09,0.34±0.08,0.23±０.03 respectively,difference between experimental groups and control group were statistically significant (P＜ 0.05),the differences between each experimental groups were also statistically significant (P＜ 0.05).After qPCR test of miR-206,myoD mRNA expression,it was found that their expression patterns were similar,miR-206,myoD mRNA increased at first and would reach the expression peak at the 7 th day,after that their contents decreased but still higher at the 14th day when compared with that at the 1 st day.Their expression of group 0d,1 d,7d,14d,28d were 0.24±0.06,0.34±0.04,0.68±0.04,0.49± 0.07,0.25±0.03 and 0.41 ±0.06,0.49±0.09,0.93±0.06,0.66±0.03,0.39±0.04,respectively.All experimental groups were statistically significant different when compared with 0d group except 1d group (P＜ 0.05),the differences between each experimental groups were also statistically significant(P＜ 0.05).The protein expression of myoD was also measured by western blot test,which showed nearly the same expression pattern as the mRNA expression pattern.After injury,the protein expression increased and reached the expression peak at the 7th day.The relative expression of myoD of group 0d,1d,7d,14d,28d measured by grey ratio were 1.03±0.05,1.06±0.06,1.42±0.10,0.66±0.13,0.24±0.07,respectively.The difference between experimental groups and control group were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05),the differences between each experimental groups were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05) as well.Conclusion The degree of muscle denervation atrophy was related to the denervated duration in rats.The expression regulation of miR-206 and myoD in gastrocnemius was similar during the muscle denervation atrophy,which suggesting having internal relationship between miR-206 and myoD.

AIM: To observe and study the influence of cardiac sympathetic nerve on QT dispersion (QTd) and the circadian variations of QTd in experimental rabbits. OBJECTIVE:To observe the therapeutic effect of compound glycyrrhizin combining ursodeoxycholic acid in the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.METHODS:87patients with chronic hepatitis B were enrolled to,on whom,the anti-viral therapy proved to be ineffective and who suffered a long-term abnormal liver functions,of the total,47were randomly as?signed to receive compound glycyrrhizin plus ursodeoxycholic acid(treatment group),and40to receive compound glycyrrhizin plus vitamin C(control group).Course of treatment for both groups was8weeks.RESULTS:As compared with the control group,the liver function and immune function for the treatment group had a better amelioration(P
