2.Cuff technique for cardiac xenotransplantation
Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 1997;18(4):212-213
The mouse heart was transplanted into the neck of rat using the cuff technique deseribed by Heron with a little modification. The graft accending aorta to the host common carotiel artery and the graft pulmonary artery to the host exteral jugular vein were performed.22 times of formal transplantation were done with the successful rate being 86%.The mean survival time was 2.10±0.80 days. The method is easy, quick and reliable. The superficial cervical localigation of the transplant is easily observed. This is a good model to observe the hyperacute rejection(HAR),to induce the translantation tolerance, and to screen the new immunosuppressive agents.
3.Improvement of the survival rate and life quality of patients with local recurrence of rectal cancer
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2011;10(6):423-426
Despite progress in the understanding of perirectal anatomy and subsequent adoption of total mesorectal excision, local recurrence after curative resection for rectal cancer continues to be a significant concern.Local recurrence of rectal cancer is associated with a wide spectrum of clinical symptoms and morbidities, and decreased quality of life. The management of locally recurrent rectal cancer is challenging because of the altered pelvic anatomy, postoperative adhesion and difficulty in obtaining a definite diagnosis before surgery.Surgery is the mainstay treatment for locally recurrent rectal cancer, and the use of radiation and chemotherapeutic agents provides significant improvement in survival rate and quality of life.
4.Strategies and techniques for surgical treatment of inflammatory bowel disease
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2014;13(8):591-595
Surgical treatment is an important method for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) when it is complicated with other intestinal diseases or medical treatment fails. The appropriate timing of surgery can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and is the key factor for the success of treatment.Excessive emphasis on medication and blindly extending the course of medication in case of invalidation will make patients lose the best opportunity of surgery.Surgeons should master different surgical techniques of acute and selective surgeries for IBD.Multi-disciplinary treatment mode is recommended.Adjustment of the preoperative medication, improvement of the nutritional status and the overall condition of the patients are necessary when surgery is unavoidable.
5.Treatment of 36 Cases of Infantile Enuresis by Acupuncture
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2003;1(6):28-
Treated 36 cases of infantile enuresis by acupuncturing Zuyunganqu (Foot Motor Sensory Area),Guanyuan (CV 4), Qihai (CV 6), Zhongwan (CV 12),Zusanli (ST 36), Yinlingquan (SP 9), Pishu (BL 20),Weishu (BL 21) and Shenshu (BL 23). After two courses,29 cases were cured, 5 cases were improvement and 2cases were no effect.
7.Enterostomy and associated problems.
Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery 2012;15(4):317-319
Stoma has been used in colorectal surgery for various indications. Stoma type and stoma location are associated with stoma complications and quality of life with a stoma. The question regarding how to avoid stoma complication and improve quality of life should be considered when stoma creation is planned. The benefit of stoma should be balanced with complications brought about by stoma creation.

8.Optimization of Bacteriocin Produced by Lactobacillus pentosus 31-1
Yan-Ni LV ; Ping-Lan LI ;
Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
To optimize bacteriocin production, researching was done on the respect of incubation condition and the media components. And the optimum incubation time was 24h, the optimum temperature was 30℃, the optimum broth initial pH was 6.5. The optimum media component was: lactose 30g, trypone 15g, soybean peptone 20g, meat extract 30g, peptonethe 20g, Tween 80 1mL, K_(2)HPO_(4 )2g, NaAc 5g, Tri-Ammonium citrate 2g, (MgSO_(4)) 0.58g, MnSO_(4) 0.25g, H_(2)O 1000mL. Production of bactericoin under the optimum broth was 640AU/mL, 8 times than MRS media.

Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1992;0(11):-
Objective:To explore correlativity of senile dementia of deficiency of kidney essence with polymorphophism of APOE gene. Methods:41 cases of senile dementia and 85 healthy aging persons were divided into 3 TCM syndrome types:syndrome of deficiency of kidney essence, syndrome of orifices confused by phlegm, and syndrome of obstruction of blood stasis in collaterals. DNA in white blood cells was isolated by NaI,and APOE gene was detected by milti-ARMs PCR,and then correlative analysis was made.Results:(1)There was a significant difference between the dementia group and the control group in the gene type ?3/ ?3(P1.(3)There was significant correlativity between syndrome of deficiency of kidney essence and APOE ?4 allelic gene(P
10.Serum excitatory amino acids concentrations in patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease
Chinese Journal of Neurology 2005;0(08):-
Objective To figure out changes of serum excitatory amino acids (EAAs) levels in patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD).Methods The levels of serum EAAs was assessed in 34 cognitively normal control subjects,30 patients with aMCI,and 32 patients with AD using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).Results ①Higher serum concentrations of glutamate((39.6?22.1) ?mol/L),alanine((282.5?71.3) ?mol/L) were found in the aMCI patients (P=0.044,P=0.007),and higher serum concentrations of glutamate ((42.2?21.8) ?mol/L),glycine ((464.2?142.6) ?moL/L) were found in the AD patients than in the control subjects (P=0.010,P=0.010).②No statistically significant difference of EAAs level between the aMCI and AD groups was found.③A close and positive correlation between the serum concentrations of glutamate, aspartate and the mini-mental status examination scores were found in AD patients:the 2 amino acid levels were higher in patients with mild dementia((42.1?21.3),(55.0?29.0) ?mol/L) than those with moderate or severe dementia ((25.4?9.2) ?mol/L,P=0.023;(34.6?11.1) ?mol/L,P=0.036). Conclusion EAAs,correlating with the severity of the condition, play a significant role in AD,while aMCI patients also have disturbance of metabolism of EAAs,indicating that it has similar pathogenesis to AD.
