ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of repeated transfer of liposome mediated CD gene plus radiation on the growth of human rectal cancer cells xenograft in nude mouse Methods HR 8348 cells transfered with liposome mediated CD gene repeatedly (at day 0,4,8,12 ) and treated with fractionated radiation at a dosage of 2 Gy/day to a total dose of 30 Gy. At the same time, mice were injected i.p.with 800 mg/kg/day of 5 FC for 12 days. Results Compared with controls tumors in treatment group grew with an inhibition rate of 78 7% in weight, and 81 5% in volume. ConclusionRepeated transfer of liposome mediated CD gene working together with radiation effect a significant inhibition on the growth of xenografted human rectal carcinoma HR 8348 cells in nude mouse.

Twenty-seven ERF transcription factor family genes were isolated from Arnebia euchroma, with an average size of 1,010 bp, each gene encoded a 212 amino acids on average. The gene structure and expression of physicochemical properties, subcellular localization, signal peptides, senior structural domains and conservative forecasting, and analysis of A. euchroma were studied comparing with ERF gene gi261363612 of Lithospermum erythrorhizon, and phylogenetic analysis of A. euchroma ERF family was carried out. The results showed the existence of three conserved domains in this family, the senior structure based on random coil and it clustered into CBF/DREB and ERF subfamilies.

5.Quality appraisal of systematic reviews or meta-analysis on traditional Chinese medicine published in Chinese journals.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2007;27(4):306-311
OBJECTIVETo critically assess the quality of literature about systematic review or meta-analysis on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) published in Chinese journals.
METHODSElectronic searches in CNKI, VIP and Wanfang data-base were conducted to retrieve the systematic reviews or meta-analysis reports on TCM, including herbal medicine, needling, acupuncture and moxibustion, as well as integrative medicine, they were identified and extracted according to the 18 items of QUOROM (quality of reporting of meta-analyses) Statement and relative information. The appraisal was made taking the indexes mainly including objectives, source of data, methods of data extraction, quality assessment of the included studies, measurement data synthesis, etc.
RESULTSEighty-two systematic reviews were identified, except 6 reviews were excluded for repeatedly published or didn't comply with the enrolled criterion, 76 reviews concerning 51 kinds of diseases were enrolled for appraisal. Among them, 70 reviews evaluated the efficacy of TCM, mainly on Chinese herbs and 9 on acupuncture and moxibustion. In majority of the reviews, randomised controlled trials were included and the data resources were described, but in 26 reviews only the Chinese databases were searched and the description about data extraction and analysis method were too simple; and 70% of reviews assessed the quality of the included studies; none used flow chart to express the process of selection, inclusion and exclusion of studies.
CONCLUSIONSFew reviews or Meta-analysis reports reached the international standard and there is insufficient description of methodology for conducting systematic reviews, so it is hardly to be repeated. The authors suggested that advanced methodological training is necessary for reviewers.

OBJECTIVE To establish and optimize the detection of highly pathogenic influenza virus H5N1 subtype by RT-Multiplex (RT-M) PCR method. METHODS The viral RNA was reversely transcripted with universal primer, and the cDNA was sequenced and analyzed. According to the cleavage site of H5 and the conservative sequence of N1,designed two pairs of specificity primer,RT-M PCR was developed by these primers. Then verified the sensitivity of method and its specificity by detecting comparing with NDV,IBV and IBDV. RESULTS The results of H5N1 gene sequence showed the high homology with the Anhui H5N1 strain [avian influenza A/Anhui/1/2005 (H5N1)] after comparing in the GenBank. Two fragments of 302 bp and 567 bp were amplified by RT-M PCR. The method could detect 0.500 pg virus RNA at least, and own high specificity. CONCLUSIONS This method can be used for highly pathogenic avian influenza.

Objective To explore the rehabilitation needs and its influential factors of adults with physical disability in Shanghai, and to provide evidence for decision-making of the precise rehabilitation service. Methods From November to December, 2016, the rehabilitation demands, utilization rate and its influential factors of 390 registered people with physical disability were investigated with a questionnaire. Results The service of occupational rehabilitation met 62.34%and educational rehabilitation met 52.00%of the needs of adults with physi-cal disability at the age of 18 to 40 years. The service of occupational rehabilitation met 38.71%and educational rehabilitation met 35.29%of the needs of adults with physical disability of grade two. The main obstacle to the service utilization wasDo not know(67.34%). As a part ofotherreason, the cumulative frequency oftemporarily not neededaccounted for 16.41%in all reasons. Conclusion The rehabili-tation service should focus unmet needs to complete the community rehabilitation and health governance, and optimize the service system.

Background Currently, the recommendation when treating acute biliary or pancreatic disease during pregnancy is to perform endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) without radiation exposure, either empirically (with no radiographic guidance) or with ultrasound guidance. However, few published studies compared these two ways. This study aimed to compare ultrasound-guided ERCP with the procedure without radiographic guidance in the treatment of acute pancreaticobiliary disease in pregnant patients. Methods The clinical data of 68 pregnant patients with acute pancreaticobiliary disease admitted to our hospital between January 2004 and May 2010 were reviewed retrospectively.ERCP was performed without radiographic guidance in 36 cases (group A) and with ultrasound guidance in 32 cases (group B).Data on the following variables were compared between the two groups:surgical success rate, rate of complete stone removal, time to resolution of clinical manifestations and laboratory indicators, length of hospital stay, complications, outcome and differences in efficacy of ERCP during different stages of pregnancy. Results In group A,the rates of surgical success and complete removal of stones were 69% and 60%,respectively; the corresponding values were 91% and 89% in group B (P <0.05).Postoperatively,clinical manifestations improved rapidly in all patients; there was no statistically significant difference between the groups (P >0.05).Leukocyte counts and liver function had improved significantly after one week in all patients; they recovered more quickly in group B ((8.64±1.83)days vs.(14.57±3.74) days,(14.29±4.64) days vs.(20.00±5.40) days,P <0.01).The hospital stay was shorter in group B ((16.28±7.25) days vs.(28.00±6.83) days,P<0.001).The complication rate was 14% in group A and 3% in group B (P <0.05).There were no significant differences between the two groups in the procedure's efficacy during different stages of pregnancy. Conclusions In the treatment of acute pancreaticobiliary disease during pregnancy,ultrasound-guided ERCP is safer and more effective than performing the procedure empirically without radiographic guidance when performed by experienced practitioners. Its more widespread use is recommended.
