Objective To evaluate the laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy of benign lesions of security,superiority.Methods Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy of benign lesions of security,superiority.Results The operation time of laparoscopic group (40.5 ± 5.3) min,significantly shorter than the control group (60.7 ± 6.8) min (t =-14.815,P =0.000) ; Bleeding (55.1 ± 9.8)ml was significantly less than that in the control group (90.0 ±15.0) ml (t =-18.275,P =0.001) ; Anus exhaust time (13.5 ± 8.3) hour was significantly shorter than that in control group (24.5 ± 9.6) hour (t =-4.351,P =0.000).The average postoperative hospital stay was (3.5 ±1.3) days was significantly shorter than that in control group (5 ± 2) days (t =-2.158,P =0.000).Postoperative morbidity was not statistically different from controls (t =0,5,P =0.053).Postoperative pain was significantly lower than that in control group (x2 =8.525,P =0.002).Conversion to open operation in laparoscopic group:2 cases,postoperative analgesic drugs were not needed,the postoperative 12h after catheter removal started eating and ambulation,postoperative shoulder pain in 2 cases ; open operation group after all need to use analgesics,postoperative 24h after catheter removal started eating and ambulation,abdominal incision fat liquefaction and delayed healing in 4 cases.The two groups had no visceral injury,postoperative bleeding,and chemical peritonitis.Conclusion Laparoscopy in the treatment of benign ovarian tumor is safe,less bleeding,rapid recovery,fewer complications and other characteristics.

Objective To observe and compare the changes of Intermedin's contents in plasma and bron-choalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) in rats with hypoxic pulmonary hypertension. Methods male Wistar rats were ran-domly divided into control group and 1,2 and 3 weeks hypoxia group. Intermedin's contents in plasma and bronchoal-veolar lavage fluid were measured by radioimmunoassay. Results Intermedin's contents in plasma and bronchoalveo-lar lavage fluid were markedly increaseded compared with control group. Meanwhile transformational trend is consist-ent between plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage. Conclusions Intermedin's contents in plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage increase ,which shows that there is protection and moderation to hypoxic pulmonary hypertension.

Objective To investigate the tendency of diapause symptoms in breast cancer patients during their chemotherapy. Method Sixty-four breast cancer patients with chemotherapy participated in the study by using Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI), the cancer fatigue scale (CFS), the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and the self-rating depression scale (SDS) to assess their sleep, fatigue, anxiety and depression at every first day from the second course to sixth one of chemotherapy. Results The diapause symptoms including fatigue, sleep disorders, anxiety and depression varied with the therapeutic course progressing. The conditions in sleep quality, fatigue and depression were the poorest at the diapause of the fourth course and the condition of anxiety was the poorest at the diapause of the third course. Conclusion The medical staff should attach importance to the patients'physical and mental problems brought by the process of chemotherapy, strengthen the regulation of psychosomatic symptoms during chemotherapic diapause, and give reasonable control and intervention before the symptoms deteriorating.

Background Recently,the study on the cause of optic nerve damage induced by glaucoma is of concern in ophthalmology.Some research showed that the immune system is associated with glaucoma-induced optic neuropathy.Acute ischemia-reperfusion is an ideal model of studying optic neuropathy.ObjectiveThe present study investigates the effect of T and B lymphocyte deficiency on the retinal neurocytes of mice with acute intraocular hypertension.Methods Sixteen SPF CB-17/Icr.Cg-Prkdc~(scid)Lyst~(bg)/CrlVR mice 6-8 week-old (severe combined immunodeficiency mouse,SCID) were used in this study and 16 age-matched SPF wild type (C57BL/6) mice served as controls.The ischemia-reperfusion injury models were induced in the right eyes of 10 SCID mice and 10 C57BL/6 mice through intra-anterior chamber infusion of balanced saline solution for 45minutes to increase the intraocular pressure to 104mmHg,and the left eyes served as model controls.The other 6 SCID mice and 6 C57BL/6 mice served as normal control group.10g/L (2μL) of FlouroGold was injected into the brains of the mice for the labeling of surviving retinal ganglion cells 21 days after ischemia-reperfusion.The thickness of retinal inner nuclear layer was measured by H&E staining under the fluorescent microscope 21 days after ischemic insult.The use of the animals followed the Standard of Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.Results In normal control mice,the morphology of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) and retinal structure were similar between SCID mice and C57BL/6 mice.The differences in the numbers of RGCs and retinal thickness were insignificant between the two types of mice(P＞0.05).In the experimental mice,the surviving RGCs were strikingly increased in SCID mice (91%±5%) compared with C57BL/6 mice(78%±5%)(P=0.003).The thickness of the retinal inner nuclear layer was obviously thinner in the model eyes (22.44±1.70μm) compared to model control eyes (31.06±3.75μm) in C57BL/6 mice(P=0.004),but no statistically significant difference was found between the model eyes and model control eyes in SCID mice (33.52±2.13μm vs 34.06±3.00μm) 21 days after ischemia-reperfusion injury(P＞0.05).Conclusion T and B lymphocytes deficient mice show a better tolerance to acute intraocular hypertension than the wild type C57BL/6 mice.

Objective: To explore the best method to treat post-stroke depression. Methods:60 Cases of the patients with post-stroke depression were selected and divided randomly into the two groups, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated by scalp acupuncture plus body acupuncture, and the control group was treated by oral administration of Fluoxetine. The therapeutic effects were assessed after 30 d of the treatments. Results: The total effective rate was 90.0% in the treatment group, with average effective time of 5 d, and was 80.0% in the control group, with average effective time of 15 d. The comparison of the total effective rates between the two groups was not significant statistically (P＞0.05). But the comparison of the average effective time was significant statistically (P＜0.05). Conclusion: The therapeutic effect is positive in the treatment of post-stroke depression by scalp acupuncture plus body acupuncture, similar to the therapeutic effect of Fluoxetine, but faster in the effective time.

The hemolysin production of 19 strains of Streptococcus spp. isolated from pigs in the Jiangsu and Shanghai regions in recent years were examined. Eight isolates of Streptococcus suis type 2 from Jiangsu showed weak hemolysis on blood agar, but a stronger reaction in Todd-Hewitt broth(THB). The hemolysin belonged to the group of thiol-activated hemolysins. Nine strains of Streptoccus equi subsp. zooepidemicus showed strong hemolysis on blood agar and in THB containing 5% new-born calf serum, but no hemolysis in THB alone. This hemolysin was similar to streptolysin S(SLS). Another two isolates were atypical members of Lancefield group C Streptococcus and showed strong hemolysis on blood agar and in THB with 5% new-born calf serum, but the hemolysin was unlike either streptolysin O or SLS.
