Objective To evaluate the similarity of dissolution profiles of self-produced and original drug cefuroxime axetil tab-lets.Methods Based on the dissolution detection method in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia,the dissolution behaviors of the self-pro-duced preparation and original drug were investigated in pure water,0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid,0.05 mol/L hydrochloric acid, pH4.5 and pH6.8 medium and the rotation speed of 50,25,75 r/mim.The stripping curves were evaluated by the f2 factor method. Results In the rotation speed of 50 r/min,the f2 factors in different mediums were 57.65,79.17,73.56,66.83 and 62.33 respec-tively;the medium was 0.1 mol/L hydrochloric acid with the rotation speed of 25,75 r/min,the f2 factors were 65.35 and 78.48 re-spectively.Conclusion The stripping curves of self-produced preparation and original drug are similar under various conditions.

Objective To observe the curative effects of treatment with Edaravone for acute massive cerebral infarction.Methods 48 patients with acute massive cerebral infarction were randomized into the treatment with Edaravone group(Edaravone group,24 patients) and the conventional treatment control group(control group,24 patients).Two groups patients were admitted conventional treatment for cerebral infarction.Edaravone group patients were admitted with Edaravone 30 mg into 100 ml saline infusion introvenously,twice a day,linked 20 ～ 25 d.Respectively before and after the treatment,neurologic function dificit score(NDS),plasma fibrinogen(Fib) content,coagulation blood function,activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) were examined.The clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups.Results NDS of tow groups after treatment were significantly lower than those of before treatment,activity of SOD were significantly increased than those before treatment(all P0.05).Significant efficiency ratio of the Edaravone group(87.5%) was significantly higher than that of the control group(45.8%)(P

ObjectiveTo compare the effect and safety of ropivacaine mesylate with ropivacaine hydrochloride in epidural anesthesia of patients make hypogastric region and lower extremity operation.Methods126 patients with epidural anesthesia were divided into two groups,each group 63 cases.The observation group was administered with ropivacaine masylate,and the control group was administered with ropivacaine hydrochloride.The sense of pain block plane and effective-acting period and effect time,sports block rating and effect-acting period and duration,vital signs,adverse events and serious adverse events were observed.ResultsThere were no significant differences between the two groups on sense of pain block plane and effective-acting period and effect time,sports block rating and effect-acting period and duration,Bp,HR,SpO2,chang of ECG,bleeding in operation( t =13.23,10.52,10.64,12.21,13.23,10.52,10.64,12.21,6.11,5.34,5.23,6.05,all P ＞ 0.05 ).ConclusionThe results of ropivacaine mesylate used for anesthesia epidural was satisfied and had no obvious side effects as well as ropivacaine hydrochloride.

Objective To investigate the effect of acute blood glucose on the level of glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px),interleukin-6 (IL-6),and the expression of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB).Methods The Wistar rats were infused intermittently or consistently with 50％ glucose solution.The level of GSH-Px was investigated with colorimetry.The level of IL-6 was measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).The expression of NF-κB was investigated with immunohistochemisty.Results The level of GSH-Px in aorta homogenate in the acute blood glucose fluctuation group [(6.26 ± 0.38) nmol/mgprot] was evidently lower than that of consistently high blood glucose group [(8.98 ± 0.56) nmol/mgprot] and the control group [(10.02 ±1.10)nmol/mgprot] (P ＜0.05).The level of IL-6 [(20.56 ±3.78)pg/ ml] and the expression of NF-κB in the aorta in the acute blood glucose fluctuation group [(16.35 ±2.45) pg/ml] were evidently higher than the other two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Acute glucose fluctuations induced the enhancing of oxidative stress and expression of inflammatory cytokines in the aorta,which leads to start NF-κB signaling pathway.

The distribution of neurokinin B (NKB) in the lower respiratory tract of 16 guinea pigs was investigated using radioimmunoassay. As a result, it is noted that the concentration of NKB is the highest in the lung (43.83?4.37), moderate in the bronchus (36.12?5.36) and lowest in the trachea (26.44?3.73 pg/g wet tissue). NKB-immunoreactive fibers were demonstrated by immunohistochemistry in the following locations of the lower respiratory tract: 1. within and beneath the lining epithelium, smooth muscle layer and tunica adventitia of the trachea and bronchus; 2. in the smooth muscle layer of the bronchus in the lung; 3. in the alveolar septurn; 4. within smooth muscle layer and the border between smooth muscle and tunica adventitia of the blood vessels and around the blood vessels in the lung. It is also discussed that there may be a significance about the results for exploring the function of NKB and its relationship with some respiratory diseases.

Objective To evaluate the accuracy of ultrasound-measured inferior vena cava (IVC) diameter in assessment of the preoperative blood volume in elderly patients.Methods Sixty patients,aged 60-75 yr,with body mass index 20-25 kg/m2,of ASA physical status Ⅰ-Ⅲ,scheduled for elective transurethral resection of prostate,were randomly divided into 3 groups (n =20 each):control group (group C),lactated Ringer's solution group (group RL),and hydroxyethyl starch group (group H).Lactated Ringer's solution 8 ml/kg was infused intravenously in group RL.Hydroxyethyl starch 130/0.4 8 ml/kg was infused intravenously in group H.SpO2,mean arterial pressure (MAP),HR and central venous pressure (CVP) were monitored before and after fluid therapy.The IVC diameters,both during expiration (IVCe) and inspiration (IVCi),were measured using ultrasound.IVC collapsibility index (IVC-CI) was calculated.Results The IVCeand IVCi were significantly increased,and IVC-CI was decreased after fluid therapy as compared with those before fluid therapy in RL and H groups.Compared with group C,the IVCe and IVCi were significantly increased,and IVC-CI was decreased after fluid therapy in RL and H groups.IVCe and IVCi were positively correlatedwith CVP (r=0.746 and 0.697,respectively).IVC-CI was negatively correlated with CVP (r =-0.547).Conclusion Ultrasoundmeasured IVC diameter provides better accuracy in assessing the preoperative blood volume in elderly patients.

Objective To study the lysozyme activity in Oncomelania hupensis and observe its inhibitory effect on bacterial growth.Methods Soft tissues of Oncomelania hupensis were initially homogenized and immersed in Tris-HCl-TritonX-114 buffer solution for 24 hours then the supernatant was collected after centrifugation at 10 000 × g for 10 minutes.The supernatant was incubated in a 37 ℃ water bath for 15 minutes and centrifuged again at 2000 × g for 10 minutes.The precipitate was put into ultrafiltration tube (relative retention molecular mass =3000) and centrifuged at 4 ℃,5 000 × g for 30 minute to obtain concentrated enzyme.The protein content,lysozyme activity and the antibacterial effect on Micrococcus lysodeikticus,Shigella dysenteriae,Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Candida albicans were measured with bicinchonininc acid(BCA) method,turbidimetric method and agar diffusion (K-B) method,respectively.Results The antibacterial protein lysozyme was identified in gastropod protein concentration of the concentrated enzyme was 3.428 g/L.Average activity,total activity,and specific activity were (760 ± 120) × 103 U/L,(1520 ± 240) × 103 U/L and (221.70 ± 35.00)U/mg,respectively.The enzyme had produced exclusive inhibitory effects on growth of Micrococcus lysodeikticus and Shigella dysenteriae.Average inhibitory diameters were 10-12 and 12-15 mm,respectively.No inhibition zone was observed in saline control,Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Candida albicans.Conclusions Lysozyme can be extracted from soft tissues of Oncomelania hupensis with Tris-HCl-TritonX-114 buffer solution,and the enzyme has inhibitory effect on growth of Micrococcus lysodeikticus and Shigella dysenteriae but has no antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli and Candida albicans.
