Pharmaceutical Journal 2000;269(12):15-17
Microcapsules of metronidazole with ethyl cellulose have been prepared by coacervation technique and spray drying technique. The microcapsulated ratio of metronidazole was evaluated. Core: wall ratio and preparing method influenced significally on the release of metronidazole from microcapsules

A head-and-neck phantom was designed in order to evaluate remotely the quality of the delivery dose of intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) in each institution. The phantom is homogeneous or inhomogeneous by interchanging the phantom material with the substructure like an air or bone plug. Monte Carlo simulations were executed for one beam and three beams to the phantom and compared with ion chamber and thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD) measurements of which readings were from two independent institutions. For single beam, the ion chamber results and the MC simulations agreed to within about 2%. TLDs agreed with the MC results to within 2% or 7% according to which institution read the TLDs. For three beams, the ion chamber results showed -5% maximum discrepancy and those of TLDs were +2~+3%. The accuracy of the TLD readings should be increased for the remote dose monitoring. MC simulations are a valuable tool to acquire the reliability of the measurements in developing a new phantom.

Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 2000;41(1):205-214
Several tests have been used for assessing color vision but most of them are nonspecific, expensive, complicated or too time consuming to perform. We have developed a new computerized color vision test named Seohan computerized 85-hue test[SCHT/85]that has many advantages compared to Farnsworth Munsell[FM]100-hue test.SCHT/85 has 85 color caps which can be displayed based on a model of FM 100-hue test using Multimedia toolbook 4.0.Selected color caps in the lower random area can be moved and inserted to the upper result area by a mouse. At the end of the test, error scores and ring graph can be displayed in monitor and can be also printed out. Total 15 subjects performed with SCHT/85 and FM 100-hue test twice who have been showed 10 normal and 5 abnormal color vision reported with other color vision tests and the results of two tests were analysed to compare the total error scores[TES]and reproducibility. All ten normal subjects showed lower TES in SCHT/85 than FM 100-hue test and the mean TES were 31.5 and 43.6 with SCHT/85 and FM 100-hue test. The coefficients of variation [CV]were 4.3%and 22.7%with SCHT/85 and FM 100-hue test. The two tests were highly correlated[r=0.92].Five abnormal subjects showed higher TES in SCHT/85 than FM 100-hue test and the mean TES were 169.8 and 157.3 with SCHT/85 and FM 100-hue test. The coefficients of variation were 9.1%and 21.2%with SCHT/85 and FM 100-hue test. These two tests were also highly correlated[r=0.965]. In conclusion, SCHT/85 which was newly developed by authors is a highly useful test for color vision.

Journal of the Korean Dietetic Association 2015;21(1):72-82
The purpose of this study was to provide preliminary data for competitive dominance in an institutional foodservice environment. Data were collected from 85 experts and practitioners on customer-oriented service contact elements and contact fields in the foodservice industry. PASW Statistics ver.18 and MS Excel were used for data analysis. From the pilot study, 67 service contact-elements were derived. Contribution rate analysis and frequency analysis in each contact field were performed in order to categorize four factors, including environment-oriented contact, product-oriented contact, service-oriented contact, and image-oriented contact fields. Thirty three contact elements were derived, and environment-oriented contact consisted of eight contact-elements (cleanliness of restaurant/kitchen, etc.), product-oriented contact consisted of twelve contact-elements (food taste, etc.), service-oriented contact consisted of seven contact-elements (service quality, etc.), and image-oriented contact consisted of six contact-elements (image/reputation, etc.). The results of study will be useful to develop an effective marketing program for competitive dominance in an competitive foodservice industry environment.

9.Pilot development of GMP at food processing establishment
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;450(4):63-64
The Company of middle scale of Processing Meat and Meat products in province of Hung Yen was chosen as a model for pilot development of GMP (good manufacture practice). There, 91-100% worker had good consciousness of hygiene in manufacture. Sanitation was carried out daily but 9.3% of workers finger nails were not manicured. Ventilation was done naturally with a substandard velocity. The processing workshop was not lighted up perfectly. In the workshop of sausage packaging 100% and in the workshop od ham packaging 10-20% met the clean standard. 100% workers did not bring their own utensils into manufacture
