6.Labial Adhesions in Children.
Korean Journal of Urology 1987;28(3):409-412
Labial adhesions are rather uncommon genitourinary disease in children which result from local inflammatory process. Three children with labial adhesions were managed with 0.625mg% estrogen ointment successfully without any significant side effects except mild pigmentation. Another 1 child with mild adhesion of the posterior fourchette only is under observation now. Local estrogen ointment application is simple, safe and successful mode of treatment in children with labial adhesions.

Pseudoatrophoderma colli is a symptomless, persistent, persistent, pigmentary disorder involving the neck and upper thorax first described by Becker and Muir in. 1934 The lesion is usually localized to the neck and upper part of the thorax. It consists of macules or papules which show pigmentation or papules which show pigmentation or depigmentation and look atrophic. Histological examination shows hyperkeratosis, hypogranulosis, focal acanthosis and perivascular lymphocytic infiltration. We present herein a case of pseudoatrophoderma colli which showed symptomless, mottled, pigmentated macules involving the neck clinically and compatible findings histopathologically.

Yoon Kee PARK ; Shin Won HAN ; Jin Soo KANG
Korean Journal of Dermatology 1984;22(3):342-345
We have experienced a case of neurofibromatosis with unusual giant pigmentation, which presents itself as a 28 cm x 40 cm sized, serrated bordered light brownish patch speckled with small dark hyperpigmented macules on his back. Histopathologic examinations of light brown patch and speckles showed only an increase in basal melanin pigmentation.
