A cross sectionae descriptive survey on the military-civil combined model of health care services Center of Con Dao district, Ba Ria Vung Tau province and the Health station of Con Dao Military Commander Office was conducted from October 2000 to October 2002. In this remote Con Dao archipelago, the health care system was underdeveloped. This model was benefited by the contribution of the strong and stable basis of military health system. A comprehensive integration of health care facilities with the military health station will strengthen the combined health care service.

2.To assess the changes in knowledge of women about health care services at some commune health stations of Ba Vi district, Ha Tay province

Finding some clinical features of urinary tract stone and survey chemical component of urinary tract stone in 3 areas of Thua Thien Hue province. Stones were collected from patients surgeried and crushed stones from 1/2003 to 5/2004. The result show that: the man patients ‘s average age were: 46±12,4 : the man patients ‘s average age were: 42±12,1 với nữ. The common symtoms: pain, biting urinate, big kidney. 100% stones were calci stone, most of them were calci oxalate.

3.Asessment the change in practice for health care services of women at reproductive age in some communes of Ba Vi district, Ha Tay province

Study on the women at reproductive age from 15 to 49 years old, who had husbands in 6 communes of Ba Vi district, Ha Tay province. Assessment before intervention in June 2001. Assessment before intervention in May 2004. After 3 years intervention to enhance the quality and the ability to contact the health care services, the results showed that: the women had been better to practise in using contraceptive, pregnance care, choice childbearing service, care of gynecological diseases.

4.Study on the pattern of military medical combinated policlinic Mau Son in Lang Son province

A recommended model of civil military polyclinic was established by the military group B38 in Lang Son province and 6 communal health stations. With this model, the quality of health service activities was strengthened considerably in terms of emergency diagnosis and treatments. The personel staff of communal health station was promoted with the aids from the military side, the difficulties in emergency and treatments were resolved significantly. A combining system of health service was created in this important region of defense and security

5.Inadequates of mountainous, island health and several solutions must deploy

In remote, mountainous, sea island and frontier areas, there are various shortcomings in health service domain because of the difficulties to access, the under developed transportation and communication, the thinly populated distribution, the low educated level of the people, the lacking and low qualifying of medical personel staff. Some solutions are recommended: To organize the forms of civil and military in combination, to establish intercommunal polyclinic consultation rooms, to make actively the politics of training, attracting and well treated medical manpowers, to enlarge the health insurance with multiform and flexible models
