1.Causes of job burnout in medical professionals and relevant intervention strategies

Job burnout has been a common problem in modem society, and medical professionals are vulnerable to it. The causes of burnout in medical professionals involve factors of social environment and system, institutional factors, occupational factors and personal factors. The intervention strategies at multiple levels are put forward, including to advocate concerning about the well-being of others and attaching importance to cultural value orientation of qualitative life-style, to construct harmonious doctor- patient relationship and good working environment, to enhance social public relations and establish good media image, to improve management system and operational mechanism at organizational level, and to enhance the coping ability at individual level by training.
2.Building of mixed ownership hospitals based on corporate governance and policy analysis

Based on the concept of hospital corporate governance,this article proposed to clarify the property ownership by the corporate governance,making it the cornerstone of building hospitals of mixed ownership.Furthermore,the authors also recommended the roadmap and policy support for such hospitals,policy analysis and suggestions to the construction of the mixed ownership hospitals,aiming at providing theoretical basis and reference to public hospital reform and the medical and health system reform.
3.Designing of the evaluation index system for performance appraisal of public hospital financial governance

This paper construct an evaluation index system for performance appraisal of public hospitals financial governance,using the meta-analysis,expert panel discussion and Delphi method.With two rounds of expert consultation and panel discussion,such an evaluation index system was completed,comprising 6 primary dimensions,15 secondary dimensions and 48 evaluation indexes.
4.Implications of corporate governance of public hospitals in China

Based on an analysis of the positioning of public hospitals and the significance of their corporate governance,the authors hold that the present corporate governance of China's public hospitals is at its startup stage.They believe that such governance is the basis to build contemporary hospital management system,yet it is not a solution for all problems confronting these hospitals.Furthermore,progress of the governance requires further optimization of the political ecology.These studies aim at providing theoretical and policy support for the ongoing reform trials of public hospitals.
5.The regulation of public hospitals: from the perspective of regulation incentive theory

The problems and causes about public hospitals regulation were analyzed based on the theory of regulation incentive using the model of principal-agent.Establishing the independent regulation institution and designing the incentive compatibility system between the government and public hospitals were the strategies.All of the reform practices should be implemented to improve the public welfare and efficiency of public hospitals.
6.Analysis and thoughts on building a connty-wide medical service delivery system in Shaanxi province

Based on an analysis of the health reform made in Fugu and Zichang counties of Shaanxi province,the authors stated the characteristics and innovations made at the county public hospitals,county-township integration,and primary healthcare equity for peasants.The discussions covered problems found in the reform,and came up with policy recommendations on positioning of both public hospitals and the government,aiming at theoretically supporting decision makers of other county hospitals in the country.
7.Analysis of government behaviors in county public hospital reform in Yulin of Shaanxi

8.Current status of medical workers at pilot county hospitals in Hubei province and their perception of the reform

Objective To learn the present status of medical workers in pilot public hospitals in China and their response/perception of the health reform,and to analyze problems found in order to raise their satisfaction and incentives.Methods 1529 medical workers at 15 pilot county hospitals in Hubei province were surveyed by questionnaire.Results The data showed that nearly half of the doctors and nurses faced great stress and more than half of the medical workers' satisfaction was at a low level.Their responses indicated that they perceived themselves as having a low social status and nearly 80% were dissatisfied with their income.About 30%of medical workers lack understanding of the policies for public hospitals reform and more than 60%of them were less positive on achievement of the reform goals.Conclusion It is necessary to reduce their work stress and raise their income,create an incentive mechanism,strengthen the communications on the health reform,and ignite the morality of medical workers.
9.Analysis of medical groups governance and key problems

The paper covered the background and development of medical institutions in groups,pointing out that such groups share medical resources,and optimize resources deployment structure for better utilization efficiency,thus conducive to regional health planning.In addition,the authors probed into key problems found in such groups,and discussed such problems as property ownership,third-part supervision,internal governance,and organizational culture building.
10.Policy making considerations for abolishing drug price plus policy at county hospitals in Hubei Province

Drug price plus policy had been in place at public hospitals since 1954 and began to phase out since 2009.Hubei province studied the profile and reform progress of 20 pilot county public hospitals before June 2012,and measured the drug income loss incurred by abolishment of this policy since 2012.It is recommended that the reform to abolish drug price plus policy in the province be made based on investigation,evaluation and academic research,prioritizing medical service pricing adjustment aided by government compensation.The authors proposed a new approach of medical service pricing to make up for the revenue gap caused by the abolishment.
