3.Coxsackievirus A 16 and Enterovirus type 71 infections among 0~14 age groups in Hefei

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) was applied to detect the antibody against CoxA16 and EV71 among 0~14 age groups. In 1 000 cases of children, the total positive rate of anti-EV71 IgM was 19. 9%, the total positive rate of anti-EV71 IgG was 47. 7%, the total positive rate of anti-CoxA16 IgM was 22. 8%, the to-tal positive rate of anti-CoxA16 IgG was 51. 3%. There was a negative correlation between positivity for EV71 IgM and positivity for CoxA16 IgM(χ2 =2. 794,P>0. 05). There was also a negative correlation between positivity for EV71 IgG and positivity for CoxA16 IgG(χ2 =2. 793,P>0. 05). The positive rate of IgG antibody against CoxA16 and EV71 was higher in neonatal group in which anti-EV71 IgG was 41 . 5% and anti-CoxA16 IgG was 49 . 5%. The lowest positive rate of IgG antibody against CoxA16 and EV71 was in infant group in which anti-EV71 IgG was 38. 0% and anti-CoxA16 IgG was 43. 5%. Except for neonatal group,the positive rate of IgG antibody against Cox-A16 and EV71 increased gradually with the age growth, there were statistical differences among the age groups (χ2=27. 04 and 19. 98,P<0. 01). With the age growth,the positive rate of IgM antibody against EV71 and CoxA16 increased,there were statistical differences among the age groups(χ2 =41. 12 and 37. 13,P<0. 01). There were not statistical differences between gender groups (χ2 =0. 51,1. 77,0. 36 and 2. 12,P>0. 05).
4.Studies on bioactive constituents in bark of Tsoongiodendron odorum

Object To study the chemical constituent and the bioactivity in the bark of Tsoongiodendron odorum Chun Methods By bioactive following method, the extracts of both EtOAc and n BuOH in the bark of T odorum were screened for in vitro anti tumor activity Results Five constituents were obtained Among them, three from EtOAc fraction belonged to germacranolides They were costunolide (Ⅰ), parthenolide (Ⅱ) and dihydroparthenolide (Ⅲ) The other two were from the fraction of n BuOH, one was an oxoaporphinoid alkaloid, liriodenine (Ⅳ), and the last was a furanone, 2, 3 dihydroxyl 2 methyl butylrolactone (Ⅴ) Conclusion All the above five compounds are found for the first time from this plant Compounds Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅳ, and Ⅴ show the cytotoxic activities against a variety of tumor cell strains, respectively
6.Establishment and application of HPLC-QAMS for quality evaluation of Chuanxiong Rhizoma.

A quantitative analysis method of multi-components with a single marker (QAMS) for simultaneous determination of six marker compounds (one from phenolic acids and five from phthalides) in Chuanxiong Rhizoma was established by applying HPLC and using butylidenephthalide as the internal reference substance. And also the feasibility and accuracy of the established method for quality evaluation and application of Chuanxiong Rhizoma were investigated and validated. The analysis was performed with the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile - 0.2% aqueous formic acid. The flow rate was 1.0 mL . min-1 and the column temperature was maintained at 30 °C. The detection wavelengths were set at 252 nm (for ferulic acid, Z-ligustilide, and butylidenephthalide) and 266 nm (for senkyunolide I, senkyunolide A, and coniferyl ferulate), separately, and 20 µL was injected for analysis with gradient elution. The results showed that there were no significant differences observed between the HPLC-QAMS method and the external standard method (RSD <5%). The relative correction factors were credible (RSD < 5%) in changed chromatographic conditions. The established HPLC-QAMS method can be accurately used for simultaneously evaluating and controlling the quality of Chuanxiong Rhizoma with multi-components.
7.Research progress of kinesin II family member 3A

BACKGROUND:Kinesin II family member 3A (KIF3A), as an important member of the kinesin-2 family, not only holds some general characters of kinesin including the regulation of intracel ular transport and mediation of microtubule movement, but also possesses its own specific features.
OBJECTIVE:To review the research progress of the function of KIF3A recently.
METHODS:A computer-based online research for relative literatures published from January 1996 to July 2016 was performed in PubMed and CJFD databases using the English retrieval words of“KIF3A;kinesin;molecular motor”and Chinese keywords of“kinesin;microtubule;function;molecular motor;spinal cord injury”, respectively. A total of 92 articles were retrieved, and 62 eligible articles were included according to the inclusion criteria.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:KIF3A is involved in new bone formation regulation, in the control of nephron number, cell survival and gene expression, in sperm formation and in the inhibition of prostate cancer and glioblastoma process:In the meanwhile, whether KIF3A is involved in spinal nerve injuries is discussed. All provide valuable new information and new ideas for further in-depth study on the KIF3A.
8.Establishment and Evaluation of a Rat Model of Adriamycin-Induced Myocardial Injury

Objective To establish and evaluate a rat model of adriamycin-induced myocardial injury.Methods Tweenty-four male SD rats were randomly divided into two groups. The adriamycin (ADR) group (n=15) was injected intraperitoneally with six equal doses of ADR (2 mg/kg each time, with a cumulative dose of 12 mg/kg) over a period of two weeks, while the control group (n=9) received an equivalent volume of normal saline intraperitoneally alone. The Rats were observed for 5 weeks after treatment. The general conditions and mortality were recorded. At the end of experiment, the parameters of hemodynamics including LVSP, LVEDP, ±LVdP/dtmax and HR were measured. The pathological changes were analyzed by histological hematoxylin-eosin staining. Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity as well as malondialdehyde (MDA) content in heart tissue were measured according to the kit instructions, respectively. Results The cumulative mortality in the ADR group was 40%. Compared with the control group, LVEDP and -LVdP/dtmax were significantly increased in the ADR group (P<0.001, P<0.05). The results of pathological examnation of the ADR group were consistent with characteristic changes of myocardial injury. Myocardial malondialdehyde (MDA) content was significantly increased and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity decreased in the ADR group compared with those in the controls.Conclusion A rat model of adriamycin-induced myocardial injury has been successfully established by administration of ADR (cumulative dose, 12 mg/kg) to rats in six equal intraperitoneal injections over a period of 2 weeks, resulting in cardiac dysfunction and histological damages.
9.Study of deep venous thrombosis in lower extremities after femoral neck fracture

Objective To explore the causes of deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremities after femoral neck fracture.Methods To retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 483 cases of femoral neck fractures treated from September 2014 to December 2017 from Department of Traumatic Orthopedics,Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine Affiliated Honghui Hospital.Please record the patient's complications,blood transfusion volume,reduction method,internal fixation,operative time,intraoperative blood loss,and postoperative thrombosis.Count data were expressed as percentage (%) and analyzed by x2 test between the two groups;measurement data were expressed as ((x) ± s),and two independent samples was used by t test.To calculate the incidence of postoperative deep venous thrombosis in patients with femoral neck fractures and to investigate the causes of deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities after femoral neck fractures.Results Of the 483 patients,149 cases of deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities occurred after surgery,with an incidence of 30.8%.The reduction method,internal fixation,and intraoperative blood loss all affected the occurrence of deep venous thrombosis after femoral neck fracture (P < 0.05).Among the reset methods,367 cases were open and closed,33.2% (122/367) had deep venous thrombosis,closed reduction was 116 cases,and 23.3% (27/116) had deep venous thrombosis.The incidence of open reduction deep venous thrombosiswas higher than closed reduction;among the internal fixation methods,fixation,the incidence of deep venous thrombosis after total hip arthroplasty and intramedullary nailing was the highest,which was 52.8% and 50.0%,respectively.The hemorrhage volume in the thrombosis group (246.9 ± 178.1) ml was higher than that in the non-thrombosis group(206.3 ± 126.7) ml.Conclusions The incidence of deep venous thrombosis after femoral neck fractures is high,and the way of reduction,internal fixation,bedtime before operation,and blood loss during operation can affect the occurrence of deep venous thrombosis after femoral neck fracture.There are many factors affecting deep venous thrombosis after femoral neck fracture.It is necessary to fully evaluate the risk of deep venous thrombosis after operation.
10.Clinical observation on 308-nm monochromatic excimer light for the treatment of amelanotic nevus

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of 308-nm monochromatic excimer light for the treatment of amelanotic nevus.Methods Eighteen patients with amelanotic nevus were treated with 308-nm monochromatic excimer light twice a week for five consecutive weeks.Melanin content index (MCI) was measured in the lesions before and after the treatment.After the final exposure,a three-month follow-up was carried out.Results After the start of treatment,the MCI in lesions increased in a session-dependent manner and approximated to 100% of that in perilesional normal skin after six sessions of treatment.The follow-up revealed a decrease trend in MCI after the end of the treatment,which was nearly equal to that in perilesional normal skin one month later,and dropped to about 90% of that three months later.No side effects such as blisters or scar were observed during the treatment.Conclusions The 308-nm monochromatic excimer light is safe and effective for the treatment of amelanotic nevus.Re-exposure to 308-nm monochromatic excimer light after three months is recommended as consolidation therapy.
