Purpose: To observe the therapeutic effect of Tuina plus meridian therapeutic apparatus on scapulohumeral periarthritis. Methods: Thirty-five cases of scapulohumeral periarthritis were treated by Tuina plus Japan-made SSP meridian therapeutic apparatus in the observation group, and 30 cases were treated by single meridian therapeutic apparatus in the control group. Results: Certain therapeutic effects had been achieved in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis in the two groups. But, there is an obvious difference (P＜0.01) in the curative rate between the observation group and control group,and the curative rated was remarkably higher in the observation group than in the control group.Conclusion: Tuina plus meridian therapeutic apparatus is an effective method for scapulohumeral periarthritis.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical efficacy of Xuebijing injection in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).METHODS:65 patients with severe acute pancreatitis were enrolled:30 patients in the control group were randomly as-signed to receive standard combined therapy of west medicines,and 35 in the treatment group to receive Xuebijing injection 100 mL qd by iv gtt plus the combined therapy as in the control group.The course of treatment in both groups was 7 days.RESUL-TS:The total efficiency in the treatment group was 94.3% and that in the control group was 83.4%,showing significant differences between the two groups(P

This study was aimed to investigate the anti-inflammatory, diuretic effect and acute toxicity of Herb of Lanceolate Sedge. The mice were randomly divided into 5 groups, which were the physiological saline group, aspirin group (0.05 g·kg-1), high dose (HD), middle dose (MD) and low dose (LD) of water extract of Herb of Lanceolate Sedge (10, 5, 2.5 g crude drug per kg) group. Intragastric administration of medication was given to mice once a day for 3 days. Auricular swelling induced by dimethyl benzene was used in the model establishment to calculate the swollen ear degree and the swollen inhibiting rate. The maximum tolerance dose (MTD) was used in the determination of the acute toxicity. The results showed that the three groups of HD, MD and LD of water extract of Herb of Lanceolate Sedge had obvious inhibiting effects on the swollen ear degree and the swollen inhibiting rate among mice, and the paw swollen rate of rats. It had signif-icant increasing effect on the 5-hour urine amount. The MTD of intragastric administration of water extract of Herb of Lanceolate Sedge was 640 g crude drug per kg for mice. It was concluded that Herb of Lanceolate Sedge dis-played obvious effects on anti-inflammatory and dieresis with low acute toxicity.

This study was aimed to select the best microwave extraction craft conditions of polysaccharide from Radix platycodonis. The composite scores of polysaccharide content and yield rate were used as evaluation indexes. By ex-amining the impact of microwave power, microwave time, extraction times and solid-liquid ratio on crafts, the best craft conditions were optimized by orthogonal test. The orthogonal test showed that when the microwave power was 1800 W, microwave time was 8 min, extraction times were 3, solid-liquid ratio was 1:15, the composite scores were the highest and the extraction craft conditions were the best. It was concluded that the crafts are efficient and stable. It had laid a foundation for the further study on polysaccharide from R adix p latyc odonis .

Objective To study the ego identity,mental health and their relationship among students in athletes.Methods 110 students in athletes and 122 athletes in students were measured with identity status scale and athletes' symptom checklist.Results ①Students in athletes have higher "present serf-commitment" (5.09±1.07)and lower "crisis in the past"(2.19±1.12)than athletes in students.The two demonstrate the obvious difference on the distribution of identity status.The percentage of students in athletes obtaining A is lower than that of athletes in students ,while the percentage of students in athletes obtaining D and MD is higher. ②Comparing with the norm,students in athletes have higher level on the factors of sematizafion (1.98±0.42),compulsion (2.21±0.51),interpersonal sensitivity(2.09±0.53),depression (1.85±0.53),anxiety ( 2.47 ～0.58 ),paranoid (1.98±0.21),psychoticism (1.79±0.22) and total average marks (2.00±0.34),lower level on the factors of hostility (1.43±0.48)and cognitive(1.64±0.31). ③Three domains of ego identity exit obvious negative correlation with the sores of psychological symptoms.ANOVA confined that the more advanced ego identity is,the better mental health is.Conclusion Ego identity and mental health of students in athletes have their own features,and ego i-dentity will influence mental health.

Objective To explore the value of brainstem auditory evoked potential(BAEP),visual evoked potential(VEP)and Revised Visual Retention Test(VRT)in detecting impairment of central nervous system in patients with acute leukemia(AL).Methods Neuropack-Ml type evoked potential machine(Japan)was used to check brainstem auditory evoked potential(BAEP)and visual evoked potential(VEP).BAEP,VEP and VRT were examined in 30 cases with acute leukemia(group AL)and in 30 age and sex matched healthy subjects as a control(groupC).Indexes of BAEP including peak latency(PL)of waves I ,IB ,V and inter-peak latency(IPL)of waves Ⅰ～Ⅲ,Ⅲ ～Ⅴ,Ⅰ～Ⅴand indexes of VEP(P100PL)were determined.VRT was accomplished meanwhile applying B method with C pattern,C method with D pattern,D method with E pattern.The correct scores and error scores were recorded separately.Results BAEP:the abnormal rate of the group AL was 23.3 %.Compared with control group,we found significant longer latency of wave Ⅲ、Ⅴ(P＜0.05)and significant elongation in the mean inter-peak latencies of Ⅰ～Ⅴ(P＜0.05).VEP:the abnormal rate of the group AL was 26.7% ,the P100 PL of the patients was longer than that in the control group(P＜0.05).VRT:the abnormal rate of the group AL was 33.3%.The results of VRT showed that the score in the group AL in D method with E pattern was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion BEAP,VEP and VRT could detect the impairment of central nervous system in patients with acute leukemia sensitively,and give clues to early diagnosis of central nervous system leukemia(CNSL).

Objective To investigate the laboratory examination,diagnosis and treatment of 57 cases of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia.Methods The clinical manifestation,laboratory morphology-immunology-cytogenetics-molecular (MICM) classification,treatment and follow-up were analyzed retrospectively among 57 newly diagnosed cases of acute pmmyelocytic leukemia (APL) patients from January 2011 to December 2013 in Xiangya Hospital,Central South University.Results In 57 patients,the first symptom was given priority to with bleeding (73.7％),fever (26.3％),and the organ infiltration accounted for 29.8％.The phenotype of CD13 + CD33 + CD34-HLD-RA-was 59.6％ in 57 patients,CD13 + CD33 +CD34 + HLD-RA + was 8.8％,and the remaining 18 cases were not classic phenotypes.The positive percentage of PML/RARa was 93.0％ by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH),and the remaining 4 cases were other rare abnormal.Except one case gave up the treatment,the other 56 cases of APL patients reached 100％ complete remission rate under early screening and diagnosis,relatively standardized and effective treatment.Conclusions Hemorrhage is the most common clinical symptoms of M3.MICM classification,especially the FISH technology,is the main laboratory basis for diagnosis of M3.After the treatment of early specifications currently,M3 can almost be cured.

Objective A new type adsorbent for removal of bacterial ET was prepared by immobilizing L-serine covalently onto polyvinylidene difluoride membrane (PVDF-Ser) to study the effect of hemoperfusion on sepsis induced lung injuries in a pig model. Method Endotoxemia were induced in thirteen pigs by injecting endotoxin (1 μg/(kg·h) ) intravenously for 2 h. One hour later, the pigs were treated with absorber of PVDF-Ser volumn (group hemoperfusion) or empty adsorber (group control) for 2 h. Extravascular lung water indexed to body weight and alveolar capillary permeability, levels of serum endotoxin, tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-6, malondialdehyde, glutathione, myeloperoxidase activity, and lung histological changes and myeloperoxidase immunohistochemical analysis were measured. Results Hemoperfusion treatment with PVDF-Ser volumn significantly improved extravascular lung water, pulmonary alveolar capillary permeability and lung injuries ( P ＜ 0. 05). In addition, hemoperfusion attenuated both serum and pulmonary cytokines, and decreased lung malondialdehyde and myeloperoxidase levels ( P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusions Hemoperfusion with the adsorber of PVDF-Ser volumn effectively reduced inflammatory responses and improved lung injuries and oxidative stress in endotoxemia. It has a high potential of clinical application for treatment of patients with severe sepsis.

Objective To investigate the effect of systematic health education on the ultrasound guided interventional therapy for pa -tients with cysts.Methods Totally 181 patients with cysts who received the ultrasound guided interventional therapy in our hospital ,were randomly divided into observation group and control group .The patients in the observation group received systematic health education ,while patients in control group received convention health education .Results The differences of pain score between two groups were statistical significance(P<0.05).By health education,the patients in the observation group had a deeper knowledge of the operation and became more cooperative(P<0.05).Conclusion Systematic health education could alleviate the pain and improve the psychological indisposition reac -tions of patients,and enhance therapeutic compliance of patients with ultrasound guided interventional therapy .In the meantime,systematic health education could improve the quality of work and enhance the diathesis of paramedic .
