Journal of Integrative Medicine 2011;9(10):1051-4
Japanese Kampo medicine has made huge progress in the 300-year development, especially in Kampo education, research and development of Kampo medicinal drugs, and industrialization and internationalization of Kampo medicine in recent 30 years. Based on the study of Japanese Kampo medicine, this article discussed some characteristics of Kampo medicine. For example, the emphasis of Kampo medicine research is the effectiveness and scientificalness; classical prescriptions are the main application in Kampo medicine while it also values correspondence between prescription and syndrome as well as abdomen examination; Kampo medicine emphasized the continuity of education after graduation; international development is accelerating in the research of Kampo medicinal drugs. Such a development strategy of Kampo medicine may benefit the development of integrative medicine in China.
2.Introduction of the World Health Organization project of the International Classification of Traditional Medicine.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2011;9(11):1161-4
The World Health Organization plans to incorporate "traditional medicine" into the next revision of its International Classification of Diseases-Version 11 (ICD-11). If traditional medicine is included in ICD-11, it is definitely an epoch-making issue. The expected result is the International Classification of Traditional Medicine, China, Japan and Korea Version (ICTM-CJK). The intention of the ICTM project is not only beneficial for traditional medical components, but also might be beneficial for Western biomedicine. For this shared purpose, China, Japan and Korea must understand the meaning of this project and collaborate to develop it.
3.The application of CHA2DS2-VASc score in ischemic stroke patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation
Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases 2014;(1):21-25
Objective To study the relationship between CHA2DS2-VASc score and intracranial atherosclerosis, Chinese ischemic stroke subclassification (CISS) classification and the early neurological outcomes in ischemic stroke pa-tients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF), and to evaluate the clinical value of CHA2DS2-VASc score. Methods The retrospective analysis method was used. The data from 149 cases of ischemic stroke patients with NVAF was retro-spectively analyzed. The clinical data mainly included clinical manifestations, routine lab tests, imaging examinations such as the color-echo doppler, brain CT and/or MRI and angiographic studies of CTA and/or MRA of brain, CHA2DS2-VASc score, the CISS and the National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS). Results The CHA2DS2-VASc score was significantly higher in patients with intracranial atherosclerosis than those without [(5.13±1.39) vs. (4.14±1.67)] (P<0.05). The occurrence rates of intracranial atherosclerosis were significantly different among different CHA 2DS2-VASc score subgroups (0~1, 2~3, 4~5 and≥6 subgroups) (P<0.05). There were significant differences in CHA2DS2-VASc score among CS+LAA group, CS+LAA+PAD,group CS, group and CS+PAD group (all P<0.05). There was statistical difference in CHA2DS2-VASc score between patients with and without improvements (P<0.05). Conclusion The CHA2DS2-VASc score may be associated with concomitant intracranial atherosclerosis of ischemic stroke patients with NVAF which can be used to predict the condition of intracranial atherosclerosis. The CHA2DS2-VASc score is positively correlated with se-verity of ischemic stroke with NVAF which can be used to predict the disease improvements in patient with NVAF.
4.Triple-H Therapy for Cerebral Vasospasm Following Spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2006;0(12):-
Cerebral vasospasm is the leading cause of disability and death in patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage, and there is no definitive and effective treatment for it yet.Triple-H therapy is now the first choice in the treatment of cerebral vasospasm, but there are still more controversies about it. In recent years, there have been a number of studies about Triple-H therapy. This article reviews the implementation of Triple-H therapy, fluid selection, and prophylactic application.
5.Malignant liver cancer ultrasonic image processing and analysis based on MATLAB
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(43):-
MATLAB Image Processing Toolbox (IPT) was used to analyze the filtered images and draw the gray value contrast curve respectively between cancerous and normal regions of liver tissue, and also detect the edge of the cancerous tissue region. Cancerous and normal region of 30 subjects were assessed with gray value curve. The change of cancerous region was significantly higher than the normal one. The gray value curve can effectively quantify the gray information of the image. Quantitative image parameters have an important reference value on the clinical diagnosis of liver cancer.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2013;(14):838-841
Objective:Increased D-dimer level has been recently correlated with the progression and high mortality rate of some cancers. This study aimed to determine whether the plasma D-dimer level was a predictor of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Methods:Clinical data of 425 with NHL were retrospectively reviewed. Variables such as clinicopathological factors, plasma D-dimer levels, and the international prognostic index (IPI) were evaluated. Results: The plasma D-dimer level was closely correlated with the IPI. The overall 1-, 3-, and 5-year survival rates of the low plasma D-dimer levels were 80%, 75%, and 50%;those for the high plasma D-dimer levels were 41%, 33%, and 9%, respectively (P<0.001). Compared with an IPI of zero or one, IPI values≥4 were predictive of poor prognosis (P<0.001). The Ann Arbor stage, pathological classification, plasma D-dimer level, and IPI were found to be significantly as-sociated with mortality. However, similar to IPI, the plasma D-dimer level was the independent risk factor affecting multivariate analy-sis. Conclusion:High D-dimer levels are a potential prognostic marker for NHL.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2016;24(3):275-278
Inflammation is involved in the pathogenesis of many vascular disorders. Hemodynamics cause the activation of inflammatory factors in the vascular wal , resulting in dysfunction of vascular endothelial cels and vascular smooth muscle cels, activating vascular wal inflammatory cascade. Inflammatory cels, especialy macrophage infiltration and secretion of enzymes gradualy weaken the vessel wal to form aneurysm, and even cause aneurysm rupture. Therefore, inflammation plays a key role in the formation and rupture of intracranial aneurysms.
