Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(03):-
Objective To analyze the influence of Eomecon chionanthe alkaloids(ECA)on differential expression of liver proteins from Oncomlania hupensis. Methods O.hupensis was immersed in 10 mg/L ECA or clean water for 36 h and livers were isolated from live snails.Total liver proteins were extracted and separated by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, differentially expressed proteins between ECA group and clean water group were selected and analyzed by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS)and tandem mass spectrometry sequencing of tryptic peptides. Results There were(354?110)and(311?12)spots observed in ECA group and in water group, respectively.Eleven differential expressed proteins were identified and all were up-regulated in ECA group. The eleven identified proteins were hypothetical protein,ENSANGP00000022175,class I aldehyde dehydrogenase, unknown protein,ENSANGP00000027067,protein similar to ankyrin 3 isoform 1 isoform 4,protein similar to hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1 short form, mitochondrial isocitrate dehydrogenase 2-like,protein similar to keratin,keratin-10,and keratin-1,respectively.Conclusion Expression of liver proteins from O.hupensis could be changed when immerse in ECA.

Objective To study hcpatitis B virus (HBV) reactivation and related risk factors for ≤5 cm hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by radiofrequency ablation (RFA) or hepatic resection. Methods From Sep 2006 to Jan 2013,193 patients received hepatectomy and 146 patients received RFA.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to assess risk factors.Stratified x2 test for HBV reactivation,Unpaired student's t-test for CD4 +,CD8 +,CD4+/CD8+ and NK cell proportions. Results (1) Antiviral therapy,Child-Pugh grade, vascular invasion and treatment modality were significant risk factors of HBV reactivation (P < 0.05).(2) HBV reactivation was lower in patients receiving antiviral therapy than those who did not (16/181 vs.25/158,x2 =3.869,P =0.049),the reactivation in hepatectomy group was higher than RFA group in those not using antiviral therapy (20/92 vs.5/66,x2 =5.788,P =0.016),but the difference was not significant in the antiviral therapy patients (10/101 vs.6/80,x2 =0.319,P =0.572).(3)CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ and NK cell proportions after 7 days treatment decreased in different degree for both hepatic resection and RFA group with or without antiviral therapy (P <0.05).For patients who did not received antiviral therapy, the proportions of RFA after 7 days treatment were higher than the hepatic resection group (P < 0.05).Conclusions Compared with ≤5 cm carcinoma treated by RFA,hepatic resection decreased the proportions of immune cells, preoperative antiviral therapy relieves immune suppression, decreases the incidence of HBV reactivation.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2011;31(9):1579-1581
This article introduces the principle, structure and components of a visualization system for carrying out minimally invasive surgical abortion. Without altering the current surgical approach or increasing the surgical difficulty, the surgical system integrated a mini-CMOS image sensor and LED light and a visual device to allow fixed-point removal of the fetus or embryo in the minimally invasive surgery.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
Objective To understand the changes and possible mechanism of the blood brain barrier(BBB) permeability induced by tumor necrosis factor(TNF-?) in vitro. Methods BBB model was established by coculturing allogenic brain microvessel end othelial cell(BMEC) and astrocyte(AS).The BBB model was divided randomly into normal control group,TNF-? group and Y-27632 pretreatment group. The changes of BBB permeability were evaluated by Gamma radioim muno assay counter. Results The Gamma radioimmuno assay indicated that the marker,~(125)I-BSA,across the BBB model in vitro was significantly increased after TNF-? treatment compared with control group,Y-27632 pretreatmen could prevent the permeability of BBB induced by TNF-?(P

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(9):873-876
Objective:
To quantitatively compare five occupational health risk assessment models in assessing silica dust hazard risk in small open pits, so as to provide the reference for the research of occupational health risk assessment methodology
Methods :
Seven small open pits were selected as the evaluation sites. The models from Singapore, the United Kingdom's Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Essentials ( COSHH Essentials ), Australia, Romania, and the International Council on Mining and Metals ( ICMM ) were applied to assessing the occupational health risk of the workers exposed to silica dust. The risk ratios ( RRs ) were calculated, and the parallelism, accuracy and correlation of the evaluation results of the five models were compared.
Results :
The RRs of the Singaporean model, COSHH model, Romanian model, Australian model and ICMM model were 0.8, 1.0, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8, respectively. The Singaporean model and the Australian model were able to distinguish transport drivers from sprinkler drivers in the health risk exposed to silica dust, which was consistent with the actual risk of the two posts. Except for COSHH model, the RRs of the other four models were positively correlated ( P<0.05 ); the RRs were all positively correlated with concentration ratios ( CRs ) ( P<0.05 ), and the correlation coefficient between RRs and CRs of the Singaporean model was the largest (0.801).
Conclusion
Among the five models, the Singaporean model can more accurately evaluate the hazard risk of silica dust in posts of open pits, and has a good correlation with the other models.

A phytochemical investigation on the roots and stems of Litsea cubeba led to the isolation of seven isoquinolone alkaloids. By spectroscopic analysis and comparison of their 1H and 13C-NMR data with those in literatures, these alkaloids were identified as (+)-norboldine (1), (+)-boldine (2), (+)-reticuline (3), (+)-laurotetanine (4), (+)-isoboldine (5), (+)-N-methyl-laurotetanine (6), and berberine (7), respectively. Among them, 7 was isolated from the genus for the first time. The evaluation of these compounds showed weak anti-inflammatory activity against NO production in RAW 267.4 and BV-2 cells.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2009;29(11):1035-1039
FDA approved the first botanical drug of non-simplex ingredient on 31st Oct 2006. The new drug's trade name is Veregen 15% Ointment. Veregen succeeded in coming into the market in U.S, which attracts other countries and regions' attention where traditional herbs have been always used. From the viewpoints of data management and biostatistics method, the authors will think and discuss this case well, and hope to promote domestic new drug investigation.

The peeled stem of Syringa pinnatifolia is a Mongolia folk medicine, mainly distributed in Helan mountain, inner Mongolia and Ningxia provinces of China. It has been used for the treatment of cardiopalmus, angina pectoris, and cardiopulmonary diseases for a long history. Contemporary research revealed the presence of major lignans, sesquitepenes, and essential oils, and showed myocardial ischemia related diseases. This review summarizes the plant origins, taxonomic disputes, phytochemical and pharmacological research progress, hopefully to provide reference for full medicinal utilization, clarification of biological effective substance, and drug development.
