Objective To investigate the effect of multidisciplinary intervenient on survival of patients with malignant tumor. Methods Six hundred and thirty-nine malignant tumor patients were randomly assigned to the intervenient and the control group. A total of 584 completed the follow-up study. The intervenient group received comprehensive treatment for 2 years, while the control group was in a process of self-rehabilitation. The 2-year survival rate was compared between the groups by using Cox proportional hazard model. Results The 2-year survival rate was 94. 74% (108/114) or 80. 67% (121/150) in II stage patients of the intervenient or control group, respectively ( P < 0. 01 ) . The 2-year survival rate was 88. 03% (163/177) or 82. 8% (184/222) in early and medium stage patients of the intervenient or control group, respectively(P <0. 01). Conclusion The multidisciplinary intervenient may help to improve the 2 year survival of early or moderate stage malignant tumors.

Objective To explore the relationship between vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) concentration in urine and renal vascular damage in children with Henoch Schonlein purpura nephritis (HSPN).Methods The kidney pathological lesion of 78 biopsy-proven HSPN children was assessed with renal vascular damage, glomerular pathological damage, and tubulointerstitial pathological damage semi-quantitative points. The children were divided into 3 groups (light, medium, and heavy group) according to the renal vascular, glomerular, tubulointerstitial, glomerular and tubulointerstitial total pathological points. Blood and urine vascular endothelial growth factor concentration was detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay;the localized renal VEGF expression and microvessel density were detected by immunohistochemistry assay in the kidneys. Results The semi-quantitative points of glomerular, tubulointerstitial, renal vascular, and glomerular and tubulointerstitial total points in different groups had significant difference (all P<0.01);the minor renal vascular damage, the higher light microvessel density, blood and kidney concentration of VEGF, and the VEGF excretion in the urine were also lower in different groups, and there were significant differences (all P<0.01). Glomerular points were positively related with tubular points, vascular points, kidney total score (r=0.596,0.612, and 0.728;P<0.05, 0.05, and 0.01 respectively). Microvessel density was highly positively related with blood VEGF and renal VEGF, and negatively rela-ted with urine VEGF (r=0.601, 0.696, and -0.639,all P<0.01). Conclusion The urinary excretion of VEGF leads to the decrease of local kidney VEGF concentration resulting in the renal vascular injury, which may be the important reason for renal vascular damage and pathology chronic progress in HSPN children.

Six bacterial strains with malachite green decolorization ability were isolated from a sediment of aquaculture pond, and strain M6 was selected by further enrichment culture in nutrition broth with malachite green and decolorization rate comparison. The decolorization rate of strain M6 to malachite green was 97.14% in the conditon of 30?C and 150 r/min, and its morphology was observed by gram stain and electronmicroscopy, its physiological and biochemical characteristic was studied by ATB bacteria identification in-strument for identification of bacteria, and its 16S rDNA sequence was determined following PCR amplifi-cation, the sequence was aligned and the phylogenic tree was instructed with those bacterial strains of high identity with strain M6. In addition, its growth characteristics was also studied. The experimental results showed that strain M6 was gram negative and bacilliform with a flagellum at one end. Its size was 0.45 ?m ?0.84 ?m. Its colony produced on common agar plate appeared as round, light blue, dense, hard to choose; 16S rDNA sequence of strain M6 had high identity of 98%~99% with Pseudomonas sp. located in GenBank and strain M6 had the most close relative relation to Pseudomonas putida OW-16 (Locus number: DQ112328.1). Combined the results of the traditional morphological, physiological, biochemical character-istics and 16S rDNA sequence analysis, strain M6 was identified as Pseudomonas putida (Locus number: EU348741.1). Additionally, its growth curve in the condition of 30?C and 150 r/min was as follows: lag phase was 0~4 h, log phase was 4 h~64 h, stationary phase was 64 h~80 h, decline phase was after 80 h. Its best growth conditions were pH 7 and 30?C,and in the rotational speed of 50 r/min to 250 r/min. Its concen-tration increased with the increase in rotational speed.

Objective: To explore the action mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) in improving the gastric motility of rats with diabetic gastroparesis (DGP). Methods: Forty-eight healthy Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly assigned into four groups: a normal group (group A), a model group (group B), a group of EA at acupoints (group C), and a group of EA at non-acupoints (group D), 12 rats in each group. The animal model of DGP was established by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) plus high glucose and fat diet. The blood glucose, urine glucose and gastric emptying rate (GER) were observed. The content of insulin (INS) in serum and ghrelin in gastric antrum tissue were detected by enzyme linked immunoassay (ELISA). The expression of growth hormone secretagogue receptor mRNA (GHSR mRNA) in gastric antrum tissue was detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results:Compared with group A, blood glucose and urine glucose increased significantly (P<0.01), GER, content of serum insulin, the content of ghrelin and expression of GHSR mRNA in gastric antrum tissue decreased significantly (P<0.05 orP<0.01) in group B. Compared with group B, blood glucose and urine glucose decreased significantly (P<0.05), GER, the content of insulin in serum, the content of ghrelin and expression of GHSR mRNA in gastric antrum tissue increased significantly (P<0.05 orP<0.01) in group C. Conclusion: EA at acupoints can down-regulate the content of blood and urine sugar, and promote gastric emptying, which is possibly related to the regulation of serum insulin, and the expressions of ghrelin and GHSR mRNA in gastric antrum.
