Objective The feasibility and the curative effect of bipolar hemiarthroplasty for hemiplegic side femoral neck fractures in elderly patients were evaluated. Methods The patients suffering from hemiplegic side femoral neck fractures and undergoing bipolar hemiarthroplasty in Beijing Tongren Hospital were followed-up during 2012-2015.The postoperative Harris Score and the complications such as infection, deep vein thrombosis and dislocation were collected. Results Totally 25 patients(25 hips)were followed-up.The average age was 70.1 years, and mean follow-up period was 24.3 months (10-42 months). The mean Barthel index score was higher (77.4 ± 14.7,ranging from 40-95 points) after operation than before operation[25.00 ± 5.95 (15-35 points)] with a statistically significant difference(t=-21.374,P<<0.05).The postoperative Harris Score was 83.5± 8.9(60-95 points).According to Harris score, the excellent and good rate was 80.0%.The patient's satisfaction rate was 88.0%.Conclusions Choosing proper prosthesis and fixing measure, and keeping the function and tension of short extorsion muscles can achieve the satisfactory results for hemiplegic side femoral neck fractures in elderly patients.

OBJECTIVE To study and improve the washing methods for the metal piping medical instruments. METHODS Some contaminated metal uteroventral scraping and drawing instruments were randomly divided into group A(by the ultrasonic vibration with proteinase washing method)and group B(by the traditional manual washing method). The effects of two washing methods were studied. RESULTS The qualified rate of experimental samples in the group A was higher than that in the group B(P
4. Detection of regulatory T cells ratio and tumor markers CA 125, CA19-9 in patients with ovarian cancer and its clinical significance
Acta Anatomica Sinica 2019;50(6):766-770
Objective: To investigate the difference of ovarian benign diseases and healthy regulatory T cells (Tregs) and tumor markers CA 125 and CA 19-9 in patients with ovarian cancer, and to analyze their correlation with clinicopathological factors and prognosis. Methods: We selected 43 cases pathologically diagnosed ovarian cancer patients in gynecological department from October 2016 to October 2017 in our hospital as a malignant group, another 55 cases of benign ovarian patients treated in the same period as benign group, 50 cases of healthy physical examination women as control group. The Tregs number and expression levels of tumor markers CA 125 and CA 19-9 in ovarian cancer were compared among the three groups, and their relationship with clinicopathological factors and prognosis was analyzed. Results: The proportions of Tregs in the malignant and benign groups were higher than those in the control group, and the proportions of Tregs, CA 125 and CA 19-9 in the malignant group were higher than that in the benign group (P<0.05). There are no significant difference in the proportion of Tregs, CA125 and CA19-9 levels and the age of patients. The level of CA 125 was related to the lymph node metastasis, tumor stage, and histological type in patients with ovarian cancer. Tregs ratio was associated with lymph node metastasis and tumor staging in patients with ovarian cancer. The CA 19-9 level was only related to tumor stage (P<0.05). After 12 months of follow-up, the median survival time of Tregs group was higher than that of Tregshight group (P<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between the number of Tregs and CA125 in ovarian cancer (P<0.05), but not with CA 19-9 (P>0.05). Conclusion: Tregs, CA 125, and CA 19-9 can all be promising markers for clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of ovarian cancer.

Bacterial biodiversities of microbial mat and sediments, which were sampled from thermal springs of Tengchong Rehai in Yunnan, were preliminarily studied with PCR-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE). Directly extracted total DNA from environmental samples amplified by PCR with two sets of bacteria-specific primers. The PCR products, which include the V 8 and V 9 high-variable regions respectively, were analyzed by using DGGE. The DGGE profiles not only indicated the existence of higher levels of bacterial diversity, but also showed that the microbial mat and sediments have different dominant bacteria. Furthermore, the bacterial PCR-DGGE displayed clear profiles of bacterial structure selected by the key abiotic factors of the extreme environments, such as temperature and concentration of oxygen.

Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the mechanism underlying pruritus by comparing the epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor(EGFRI)-erlotinib mouse model with the substance P(SP)-induced pruritus mouse model. Methods Two randomized groups of mice were treated with erlotinib or SP to induce pruritus. Behavioral and skin manifestations were observed. Pathological images and neurokinin 1 receptor(NK-1R)expression of the skin were determined. Concentration of interleukin(IL)-31, IL-33, histamine, leukotriene B4, and SP was analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Nitric oxide was analyzed by colorimetry. Results Transient pruritus induced by erlotinib appeared 2 to 5 days after treatment. In contrast, continuous pruritus was observed during the first hour, but was then gradually relieved. These two shared similar scratching behavior. Concentration of neurotransmitters showed similar trends in changes among the erlotinib group and SP group. Immunohistochemical expression was also consistent between the erlotinib group and SP group. Conclusions Erlotinib-associated pruritus is related to release of signaling factors through the SP/NK-1R signaling pathway.

Objective To evaluate effects of dietary intervention on self-efficacy and metabolic control of patient with type 2 diabetes. Methods A self-control designed research was conducted to 70 patients with type 2 diabetes at clinic receiving diet intervention. Before intervention and 1 month after, body mass index, waist, total cholesterol, high density lipoproteins, low density lipoproteins and uric acid were tested to evaluate the metabolic control. After 3 month, HbA1c was monitored to evaluate glycemic control. Meanwhile, before intervention and 1,3 month after, self-efficacy was investigated. Results One month later, body mass index, waist, blood lipid were lower than before, HbA1c was reduced 0.78%, the total score of self-efficacy and the dimension of nutrition, monitoring and medical were improved. Conclusions The dietary intervention was beneficial for improving metobolic control and self-efficacy of patients.

OBJECTIVETo observe central immediate effect of acupuncture at Yanglingquan (GB 34) on passive movement of cerebral infarction paitents with hemiplegia by functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and provide reference for clinical treatment.
METHODSWith 1. 5 T MRI scanner, six cases of right cerebral infarction paitents with left hemiplegia in recovery stage were scanned during passive fingers movement before and after acupuncture at Yanglingquan (GB 34), which was controlled with sham-acupoint acupuncture to observe immediate activated part of the corresponding brain.
RESULTSThe activated areas of the passive movement in all the patients were mainly motor sensory cortex on the right side. Compared with sham-acupoint, in the left anterior insula, in ferior frontal gyrus, central gyrus, fusiform gyrus, cerebellum, acupuncture at Yanglingquan (GB 34) has better central effect. These areas were involved with several brain networks.
CONCLUSIONThe acupuncture at Yan glingquan (GB 34) could promote recover of helmiplegia by regulating motor-related network.
