3.MEDICOLEGAL INVESTIGATION ON EcochG AND ABR OF 113 EARS IN 76 CASES
Chinese Journal of Forensic Medicine 1986;0(02):-
A hundred thirteen ears in 76 cases underwest the traumatic deafness caused by beating at the ear and head were examined with the Evoked Potential System of Nicolet Spirit and the Pure tone audiometry.113 ears were divided into two groups. One group consisted of 32 ears with the tympanal perforation, which were further divided into small, medium and big perforations. The second group consisted of 81 ears without tympanal perforation, which were classified into mild, moderate, serious, severe and profound deafness. The two groups were all examined by EcochG and ABR. The wave latent periods of EcochG and ABR of two groups (small, medium perforation;mild, moderate deafness)were statistically analysed and were compared with those of the normal control group. The results of the square deviation analysis and Q test showed the significant difference (76. 7%, P
4.Role of NF-?B in HGF-mediated proliferation of WB F-344 cell
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1982;0(03):-
Objective To study the role of NF-?B pathway in HGF (hepatocyte growth factor)-mediated proliferation of WB F-344 cell. Methods WB F-344 cells were treated with HGF in different concentrations i.e. 0, 20, 40, 80 and 100ng/ml. After incubation for 24 hours, proliferation effect was analyzed with [3H] Thymidine. WB F-344 cells transfected with I?B? plasmid mutants by liposome transfection were used to block NF-?B activity, and then they were treated with 40ng/ml HGF for 0, 15, 30, 60 and 120min, respectively. The nucleoprotein was extracted to determine the NF-?B DNA-binding activity by EMSA. WB F-344 cells were also transiently transfected with BD Great EscA PeTM SEAP vector with liposome and then stimulated with HGF in different concentrations (0, 10, 20, 40ng/ml) for 8 hours to detect the NF-?B transcription activity. WB F-344 cells were pre-treated with NF-?B inhibitor BAY-11-7082 or ASA, and then with 40 ng/ml HGF for 24 hours to analyze the proliferation effect by [3H] Thymidine. Results HGF promoted the proliferation of WB F-344 cells and exhibited positive dose-effect tendency. HGF could enhance the NF-?B DNA-binding activity. NF-?B complexes appeared 15min after addition of HGF. The complexes reached the peak value 30-60min after addition of HGF and then decreased gradually. HGF could also enhance the NF-?B transcription activity, exhibiting positive dose-effect tendency. HGF-mediated proliferation was remarkably inhibited when NF-?B activity was blocked by BAY-11-7082 or ASA. In WB F-344 cells transfected with p-CMV-I?B?, the proliferative response to HGF was completely interrupted. Conclusions HGF may promote the proliferation of WB F-344 cells in a positive dose-effect tendency. The activation of NF-?B is necessary for HGF-mediated proliferation of WB F-344 cells.
5.Establishment of FSP27 Gene Knockdown Preadipocyte Cell Line
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(08):-
Obesity and its related metabolic diseases become major health problems in the world.Adipose tissue plays an important role in the development of obesity.FSP27,a member of the CIDE family proteins,is expressed at high levels in white adipose tissue and differentiated 3T3L1 cells. The objective of current study is to establish a FSP27 knockdown preadipocyte cell line to investigate the in vivo function of mouse FSP27.The double strand siRNA of mouse FSP27 corresponding to nucleotides 270 to 291 was synthesized and inserted into pSilencer2.1.pSilencer-siFSP27 was co-transfected into 293T cells with the HA-mFSP27 expression vector to test its knock-down efficiency. The FSP27 siRNA was then transferred to a lentiviral vector.Lentivirus were generated and used to infect 3T3-L1 cells. It was shown here that lentivirus containing FSP27siRNA can effectively knockdown FSP27 expression in 3T3-L1 cells.Establishment of FSP27 knock-down cell line provides a useful tool for the study of in vivo function FSP27.

Objective To explore how to establish and safeguard the peripherally inserted central catheters(PICC) maintenance network for the management and practical activity of PICC,so as to provide continuous high-quality PICC maintenance for discharged patients with PICC. Methods 40 nurses each year from 10 cities and 100 country hospitals affiliated with Shanxi Quality Control Center to train in the 1st and 2nd affiliated hospital of Xi`an Jiaotong University were choosen as 214 PICC maintainers. These maintainers were taken into the inner-net of 1st affiliated hospital of Xi`an Jiaotong University management system complete the PICC maintenance net of Shanxi province. Results After the establishment of maintenance network, the number of patients with PICC increased (from 610 cases in 2008 to 1 434 cases in 2014);A large number of PICC management had been down by the qualified nurses in primary hospitals; Duration of PICC in patients days was prolonged; The PICC related complications including thrombophlebitis, catheter infection, occlusion or dislodgment and unplanned extubate were significantly decreased (P < 0.05 respectively). Conclusions Establishment of PICC maintenance network can provide patients with standardized and convenient PICC maintenance service, decrease the incidence of catheter which related complications and ensure patient safety. The application of PICC maintenance network should be used more and more.

Chinese Journal of Practical Gynecology and Obstetrics 2001;17(2):87-89
ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of transverse and longitudinal lower segment caesarean section on the outcome of newborn, postpartum haemorrhage and ratio of complications in placenta previa. MethodsPlacenta previa with lower segment transverse caesarean section( 117 cases) were taken as control group, meanwhile, the lower segment with longitudinal section (142 cases ) as experimental group. Their operational complications, amount of bleeding during and after operation and outcome of the perinatal period were analysed. Results No significant difference in age, parities, gestational weeks, the types of the placenta praevia and the locus of placenta between the two groups were found( P>0.05), while there were significant difference in the amount of bleeding during and after operation, the need of using gauze ribbon to stop bleeding, section splitting and rate of hysterectomy after caesarean section(P<0.01). ConelusionLower segment longitudinal caesarean section in placenta praevia not only shows less bleeding during operation and lower rate of postpartum haemorrhage, but also avoids using gauzes to stop bleeding and causes lower rate of hysterectomy after caesarean section, so it can be the first choice when determining the style of section in placenta praevia.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(04):-
Objective To measure the extent of malrotation of femur fractures with CT scan after fixation with interlocking intramedullary nailing , and to discuss the methods which can help to correct the malrotation of femur fracture during the operation. MethodWith CT scan, the anteversion of femur fracture after the close reduction and fixation with interlocking intramedullary nailing in 56 cases was measured, and the difference of anteversion between the fracture side and the contralateral side was evaluated. The increase of anteversion represented internal rotation of the distal fragment, whereas the decrease of anteversion meaned external rotation. According to AO classification system, the type A of infratrochanteric fractures happened in 9 cases, type A of femoral shaft fractures happened in 12 cases, type B in 15 cases, type C in 7 cases, and 13 cases of femoral supercondyle fractures were type A. ResultThe results of measurement showed that the femoral anteversion after fixation with interlocking intramedullary nailing was changed in all patients. The anteversion of the femoral shaft fracture ranged from 13.35?to 47.21?. The aneversion of infrotrochanteric fractures ranged from -7.12?to 36.35?, and the supercondyle fracture of femur from -11.10?to 39.22?. For the extent of malrotation of distal femoral fracture, the internal rotation was more obvious than the external rotation. The number of Internal rotation cases accounted for 60.71%, and the external cases accounted for 39.29%. The maximum internal malrotation happened in femoral shaft fracture, from 1.37?to 29.82?with average malrotation 12.34?. and the minimum internal malrotation happened in infratrochanteri fracture, from 0.81?to 23.21?,with the average malrotation 8.32?. The medium internal malrotation was femoral supercondyle fracture, from 1.72?to 27.11? with the average malrotation 8.38?. The maximum external malrotation happened in femoral shaft fracture, from 1.11?to 21.12?with the average of them 9.33?. The minimum external malrotation happened in infratrochanteri fracture, from 1.31?to 16.23?with the average 7.71?. The medium external malrotation was seen in femoral supercondyle fracture, from 0.97?to 17.96?with average 8.22?. For these three parts of femoral fracture, the partnership T test was done between the fracture side and the contralateral side, the results showed that there were significant differences among of them,P
