Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To explore the safety and efficacy of high intensity focused ultrasound in the treatment of endometrioma. Methods:Sixteen typical patients with endometrioma received HIFU treatment.HIFU treatment was monitored by real-time ul- trasound. The changes of tumor-size and blood-supply of endometrioma before and after HIFU were evaluated by the CDFI or enhanced MRI,and symptoms changes were recorded in follow-up process. Results:After HIFU treatment,in all patients, tumor size shrank 57.16%,blood supply decreased, menstrual cycle and menstrual period decurtated, and menstrual volume decreased 50%.All the patients had a complete remission of menalgia and Hb test became normal level. All the patients had no serious syndrome. Conclusion:HIFU is safe and effective to treat endometioma.
2.The effect on the proprioception after Brostr(o)m reconstruction for lateral ankle ligament in rabbit
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2011;31(9):983-987
ObjectiveTo study the effect on the proprioception after Brostr(o)m reconstruction for lateral ankle ligament in rabbit. MethodsSix-three adult New Zealand white rabbits were used in this study. Nine rabbits were random selected as the blank control group, these rabbits were sacrificed and the lateral ankle ligaments were taken. The rest were all cut the lateral ankle ligament. Twenty-seven rabbits were performed Brostr(o)m reconstruction as the experimental group, and the other were left the apocoptic ligament as the experimental control group. At 2, 6, and 12 weeks after operation, 9 rabbits of each experimental group were sacrificed, and the lateral ligament of ankle were taken randomly for observation. All the lateral ligaments of ankle were stained with a modification of gold-chloride method. We counted the mechanoreceptors under light microscope. ResultsWe identified the four mechanoreceptors: Ruffini receptors, Pacini receptors, Golgi tendon organ-like receptors and free nerve endings, and the first three of them were counted. The amount of mechanoreceptors in blank control group was 21.0±3.5, in experiment group at 2, 6, and 12weeks after operation were 12.7±2.1, 13.0±3.0, and 16.0±2.0 respectively, and in experiment control group was 7.7±1.5, 4.7±1.5, and 6.3±0.6 respectively. The difference among the 2, 6 and 12 weeks after operation in experiment group were statistically significant(F=7.53, P=0.00) and similarly in experiment control group (F=16.27, P=0.00), as time goes on, the amount of mechanoreceptors were increasing gradually. The difference among three group at the 2, 6 and 12 weeks after operation separately were statistically significant (F=88.75, 102.91, 122.53, P=0.00), the amount of mechanoreceptors in experiment group were more than in experiment control group, and lesser than in blank control group. ConclusionAfter rupture of the lateral ankle ligament of rabbit, whether operation or not, the ligament's mechanoreceptors will be decreased. Brostr(o)m anatomical reconstruction for the ruptured ligament can retain the maximum amount of mechanoreceptors.
3.The application of temporary balloon occlusion technique in performing cesarean section for patients with pernicious placenta previa
Journal of Interventional Radiology 2017;26(5):451-454
Objective To compare the safety and effectiveness of temporary occlusion techniques with different balloons in performing cesarean section for patients with pernicious placenta previa. Methods The clinical data of 15 patients with pernicious placenta previa, who received cesarean section during the period from March 2014 to April 2016,were retrospectively analyzed. In order to reduce bleeding during operation and to preserve the uterus as far as possible, temporary occlusion of abdominal aorta with balloon was adopted in 7 patients (group A),and temporary balloon occlusion of bilateral internal iliac arteries was employed in 8 patients (group B).The intraoperative radiation dose, the amount of blood loss and blood transfusion during cesarean section, the hysterectomy rate, the postoperative hospitalization days, and the intervention-related complications were documented, and the results were compared between the two groups. Results All the 15 patients were suffered from central type of placenta praevia complicated by extensive placenta accreta. With the help of temporary balloon occlusion technique, the cesarean section was successfully accomplished in all 15 patients.Subtotal hysterectomy had to be done in 7 patients, including 4 patients of group A and 3 patients of group B,and every one patient from each group developed arterial thrombosis of lower limb. The intraoperative radiation dose of group A was significantly lower than that of group B (P<0.01),besides the amount of blood loss and blood transfusion during cesarean section, the hysterectomy rate, the postoperative hospitalization days, and the intervention-related complications of group A were all lower than those of group B,but because of the limited number of cases these differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion For the treatment of pernicious placenta previa, temporary balloon occlusion technique-assisted cesarean section is safe and effective. The intraoperative radiation dose in the group using temporary balloon occlusion of abdominal aorta is remarkably lower than that in the group using temporary balloon occlusion of bilateral internal iliac arteries.
4.Clinical Analysis of 76 Cases of Asherman's Syndrome
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(02):-
Seventy-six cases of Asherman's syndrome (traumatic amenorrhea) were analyzed clinically. 70% of the patients were young women of the ages from 20 to 30. There was the history of previous abortion with once or twice of curettage in 81.2% of the cases. 66 out of the 76 cases complained of amenorrhea, 57 of periodic lower abdominal pain, and 10 of hypomenorrhea. When the intrauterine adhesions are explored, diagnostic curettage to get some endometrium for histologic study should be done since it is essential to diagnosis as well as to treatment. 57 out of the 76 were cured with one procedure of probe isolation of the adhesions and dilatation. The remained 19 cases were treated with combined Chinese traditional and Western medicine and 15 were cured and 4 improved. 24 women of those cured underwent a normal full term pregnancy and gave birth to a normal child. No vaginal bleeding or adhesion of placenta was observed after delivery in those women.
5.The application of adrenal cortical hormone in the treatment of cerebral salt wasting syndrome
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(12):1127-1130
Cerebral salt wasting syndrome (CSWS) is a common cause of refractory hyponatremia. Early diagnosis and treatment of CSWS can greatly improve the patient′s condition and improve the prognosis. Clinically by supplying sodium hydrate, most patients can resume normal serum sodium level, and get remission. But a few patients with low serum sodium, high urine sodium and low blood volume can not improve and even worse. Fludrocortisone and adrenal cortical hormone can rapidly and effectively reduce the urinary sodium level and urine volume, correct hyponatremia and low blood volume and improve the prognosis in such patients.
6.Nosocomial Pneumonia Caused by Fungi in Hospitalized Senile Patients:A Clinical Investigation
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(12):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate clinical status, distribution of the genera, and risk factors of pneumonia caused by fungi in hospitalized senile patients.METHODS The notices of hospitalized senile patients from Jan 2000 to Apr 2003 were analyzed according to Diagnosis Standard of Nosocomial Infection published by National Ministry of Health.RESULTS Totally 135 cases were collected. The isolating ratio of Candida albicans ranked first(54.8%),followed by C.tropicalis(20.0%).The risk factors included underlying diseases, invasive surgical procedure, and prolonged hormones and antibiotics therapy.CONCLUSIONS To prevent and control pneumonia caused by fungi in hospitalized senile patients, the measures such as curing the underlying diseases, reducing invasive surgical procedures, and using antibiotics reasonably should be adopted.

Objective To study the distribution of the gap conjunction and connexin(Cx)26 and 32 in inner ear of guinea pig. Methods We investigated expression and distribution of gap conjunction and Cx 26 and Cx 32 in cochlea of guinea by immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR and electron microscopy. Results T The gap conjunction was easily seen between hair cells and supporting cells in cochlea of guinea pigs. Cx26 was widely distributed in the stria vascularis, the spiral ligament and between the supporting cells, and Cx32 appeared mainly among supporting cells, in the stria vascularris. Conclusion There exist lots of gap conjunctions in inner ear of guinea pig. Two kinds of connexins can be seen in guinea pig's cochlea, and the Cx 26 plays more important role than other Cx.
