Colorectal cancer is induced by multiple factors.Multiple genes should be considered for the research of colorectal cancer.Single nucleotide polymorphisms,a new tumor gene researching method,play a key role in colorectal cancer researching.Finding colorectal cancer special SNP is vital for selecting high risk population and predicting the risk of developing colorectal cancer.

Objective To investigate the value of CT in the diagnosis of dedifferentiated liposarcoma.Methods Fifteen surgical operations of dedifferentiated liposarcoma in 11 patients, confirmed by pathology, underwent plain (n=15) and contrast enhanced (n=12) CT scans. Two of the 12 lesions underwent dynamic multi-phase contrast scans. The CT features and the corresponding pathological basis were analyzed.Results The lesions were divided into 3 groups according to the fatty component and its distribution. The CT appearances were as follows: (1)a well delineated fatty component in the lesion and a closely apposed non-fatty region in 10 cases including 5 initial (5/5, 100%) and 5 recurrent (5/10, 50%), which depicted an abrupt transition from the well-differentiated area to the high-grade sarcoma component under microscope; (2)fatty component within the lesion was less than 10% in 3 recurrent (3/10, 30%); (3)fatty masses and non-fatty masses separately distributed in 2 recurrent cases (2/10, 20%). Contrast enhanced CT scan showed moderate to marked inhomogeneous enhancement in the early phase in all 12 lesions, and delay enhancement was also observed.Conclusion Dedifferentiated liposarcoma exhibited specific appearances as well delineated fatty component and closely apposed non-fatty region with apparent enhancement. Dynamic contrast CT scans play important roles in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of dedifferentiated liposarcoma, and help pre-surgical grading and pathological sampling.

AIM:To study the isolation and identification of curdione from Zedoary oil. METHODS: Silica column was adopted to isolate constituents from Zedoary oil;IR,GC/MS and NMR methods were used to identify its structure. RESULTS: Three constituents were isolated from Zedoary oil,including crystal C_1,C_2 and C_3.Crystal C_1 was identified to be curdione and curdione content in Zedoary oil was 11.31%. CONCLUSION: This method is simple and convenient and it can be used to isolate more quantity of curdione for further pharmaceutical study.

ObjectiveTo observe the treatment effect of seveve acute pancreatitis (SAP) with gabexate combined with Xuebijing after local infusion. MethodsForty-four patients with SAP were randomly divided into receiving intravenous gabexate or Xuebijing alone (control group) group and receiving local infusion with gabexate combined with Xuebijing( experimental group) group. At 1,7,14 days of testing in diamine oxidase (DAO), lipopolysaccharide, IL-18, TNF-α, APACHE- Ⅱ score, T lymphocyte subpopulation and monocyte HLA-DR expression and single change in the number of nuclear cells were tested. ResultsBetween two patients groups at 1,7,14 days diamine oxidase, lipopolysaccharide, IL-18, TNF-α, APACHE-Ⅱ score showed a downward trend; T suppressor cells (Ts) reduced in their percentage; total T lymphocytes, T helper cell (Th), monocyte HLA-DR expression (percentage) and mononuclear cells showed an upward trend in the experimental group than control group, the differences being statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). In the experimental group and control group, the pain relief time, intestinal function recovery time, the withdrawal of ventilator time, the incidence of sepsis, the rate of conversion to open surgery were statistically significant different (P ＜ 0.05 ). Conclusions Compared with intravenous drug use alone the implementation of gabexate combined with Xuebijing local infusion can reduce the early course of SAP patients intestinal permeability and reduce endotoxin translocation, protect intestinal barrier function of patients with SAP, improve the patients' immune function, symptoms, signs and reduce the rate of sepsis and transit operations.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between psychological factors and the serum level of estrogen in menopausal women with glossdynia.Methods:87 menopausal women with glossdynia and a randomly selected control group (n=82) were comprehensively investigated with the method of case-control study.The serum level of estradiol(E2) and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) were measured.All cases with glossdynia and control were evaluated by the Self-Rating Annxiety Scale(SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS). Objective To sum up the experience of diagnosis and management of postoperative abdominal bile collection of biliary fluid .Methods Analysis of 36 cases admitted in our department with postoperative abdominal biliary fluid collection were studied and treated in our department.Clinically,these cases can be divided into three groups according to their manisfestation,including asymptomatic cases,acute diffuse peritonitis and cases with obscure clinical course.The clinical feature and morbidities of these three groups were compared.Result The morbidities of cases detected collections of biliary fluid and managed in time were significant lower than that of the cases detected and managed out of time.Conclusions Clinically postoperative collection of abdominal biliary fluid might be divided into asymptomatic cases,acute diffuse peritonitis and cases with obscure course by us,it is for the sake of early diagnosis and immediate management.The diagnosis in time and immedate aspiration or drainage will save the patient from adverse morbidities.

Objective To sum up the experience on the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal compartment syndrome(ACS). Methods In this report, ACS was diagnosed by special clinical features in all 5 patients. Following emergency decompressive celiotomy, the abdominal viscera were covered with a 3 L sterile plastic bag for nutrition support. Results The first case died despite abdominal decompression through uper midline incision. 4 cases underwent decompressive celiotomy through incision from xiphoid to symphysis, one died postoperatively. The overall mortality in this series was 40% (2 / 5). Conclusions Close attention paid to the abdominal and systemic signs facilitates the diagnosis of ACS.Emergent decompressive celiotomy through a incision from xiphoid to symphysis is effective in treating ACS. Temporary abdominal closure could be fulfiled with 3L sterile plastic bag for nutrition support.

Objective Aimed at the problems that the costs of existing ECG data compression methods is high,and they are difficult to apply in engineering practice,a sort BP neural network is set up based on ECG data compression method.Methods Based on BP network theory,two three-layered feedforward neural networks were set up.Then every one heartbeat was divided into three waves,that is,P,QRS and T ones,and the three waves were compressed by two three-layered feedforward neural network individually.In order to improve the replay capability and interference rejection capability of the neural network compress algorithm,incompletely connected structure is employed.Results The method could realize high compress ratio,and improve the replay capability and interference rejection capability of the heartbeat waves.Conclusion Upon with the heartbeat signals,the method can filter and compress waves effectively,and can be used in engineering practice as well.

Objective To investigate the effects of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) on tumor growth and tumor angiogenesis factor relevant to Janus kinase 2-signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 of human gastric carcinoma xenografts in nude mice with different expressions of growth hormone receptor (GHR).Methods Immunocytochemical method was used to pick out one GHR-positive and one GHR-negative cell line. The cells were subcutaneously injected into 26 nude mice separately, then the patterns of xenografts in nude mice with different expressions of GHR were established. The nude mice bearing two different kinds of human gastric caicinoma were equally randomized into control group, low-dose rhGH group, and high-dose rhGH group,and were treated with drugs for 14 days. Changes of tumor volumes and body weight of nude mice were record. The protein and mRN A expressions of tumor angiogenesis factor in tumor tissue were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. Results GHR was highly expressed in SGC-7901 celk but negative in MKN-45 cells. For nude mice bearing GHR+ SGC-7901 xenografts, the tumor volumes were significantly larger in low-dose rhGH group [(1. 141 ±0. 234) cm3] and high-dose rhGH group [(2. 106 ±0. 260) cm3] than in control group [(0.612±0. 156) cm3] (P = 0. 034, P = 0. 001), and the high-dose rhGH group revealed greater effect (P =0. 043 ). Body weight was not significantly different among three groups. Compared with the control group, the mRNA expressions of tumor angiogenesis factor were significantly increased in low-does rhGH group, and the P values of GHR, Janus kinase 2, signal transducer and activator of transcription 3, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α), fibroblast growth factor, and matrix metalloproteinases-2 (MMP-2) was 0.001, 0.011, 0.042, 0.045, 0.040, 0.002, and 0.003, respectively; however, the high-does rhGH group did not show the greater effects. The protein expressions were significantly increased in low-does rhGH group, and the P value of phosphorylation-signal transducer and activator of transcription 3, signal transducer and activator of transcription 3, VEGF, HIF-1α, and MMP-2 was 0. 015, 0.003, 0.010, 0.008,and 0. 005, respectively; furthermore, the high-does group revealed the further greater effects, and the P value of VEGF, HIF-1α, and MMP-2 was 0.012, 0.025, and 0.046, respectively. On the contrary, for nude mice bearing GHR- MKN-45 xenografts, the body weights of low-dose rhGH group [(24.94 ±0. 517) g] and high-dose rhGH group [(26.97 ±0.686) g] were significantly higher than that of control group [(22.78 ±0.418) g] (P =0. 040, P = 0.012 ) , while tumor growth as well as the expressions of mRNA and protein of tumor angiogenesis factor in tumor tissue were not significantly different Conclusions rhGH can promote tumor growth and up-regulate the expression of tumor angiogenesis factor in the GHR-highly-expressed SGC-7901 xenograft tumor model; However,such effects do not exist in GHR-negatively-expressed MKN-45 xenograft tumor model. The existence of GHR may be a key target by which rhGH influences the tumor growth and the expressions of tumor angiogenesis factor, which is probably achieved through Janus kinase 2-signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 activation.
