This article presents a technique of chromosome analysis which are prepared from human endometrium directly. The success rate was 40.3%. It was shown that there was no statistical significant differences between mitotic index of prolifera-tive and secretory phases. The same study had been carried out in women before and had been taking clomiphene for 3 cycles and 6 cycles. And also no detectable mutagenic, and no carcinogenic effects on endometrium were found

Objective:To explore the nursing efficacy of 321 health education model on maintenance hemodialysis patients with itchy skin.Methods:A total of 97 cases of maintenance hemodialysis patients with itchy skin from January 2019 to December 2019 in the Central Hospital of Panzhihua were divided into control group of 49 cases and study group of 48 cases by table of random number. The patients in control group were taken with conventional nursing and health propaganda measures while the patients in study group accepted a different nursing mode of combining 321 health education model. The Chinese version of the Four-Item Itch Questionnaire (FIIQ), the Chinese version of the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), and the Chinese version of the Kidney Disease Questionnaire (KDQ) were used to evaluate the skin itchy status and its influences to patients′ life and life quality of the 2 groups before and after intervention.Results:There was no significant difference in the skin itchy status and its influences to patients′ life and life quality before intervention between the two groups( P>0.05). After intervention, the total score of FIIQ, and the scores of the three dimensions of itchy degree, itchy frequency, and influences on sleep were respectively (7.46 ± 0.94), (1.83 ± 0.26), (1.92 ± 0.29), (1.86 ± 0.23), which were all lower than the same data of the control group patients: (12.36 ± 1.24), (2.69 ± 0.31), (3.02 ± 0.42), (2.91 ± 0.37), showing differences with statistical significance ( t values were 14.79-21.90, P<0.05). After intervention, the total score of the DLQI, and the scores of five dimensions of symptom perception, daily life, entertainment and leisure, work and study, and treatment of the patients in study group were respectively (10.55 ± 1.27), (2.85 ± 0.29), (2.11 ± 0.32), (2.47 ± 0.29), (1.72 ± 0.25), and (2.21 ± 0.27), which were all lower than the same data of patients in control group: (14.47 ± 1.78), (3.92 ± 0.37), (1.57 ± 0.22), (1.64 ± 0.25), (1.26 ± 0.18), (1.21 ± 0.11), indicating statistically significant difference ( t values were 9.67-23.80, P<0.05). After intervention, the total score of KDQ and the scores of the four dimensions of physical symptoms, fatigue, depression, and frustration of the patients in study group were respectively (121.66 ± 15.91), (27.36 ± 3.02), (24.44 ± 3.44), (26.71 ± 3.58), and (19.28 ± 2.66), which were all higher than the same data of patients in control group: (108.38 ± 14.69), (24.51 ± 2.64), (22.60 ± 3.41), (22.45 ± 3.47), (14.92 ± 2.04), presenting differences with statistical significance ( t values were -9.07 - -2.65, P<0.05). Conclusions:For maintenance hemodialysis patients with itchy skin, the nursing intervention by 321 health education model can effectively ease the itchy skin problem, relieve the impact of itchy skin on patients' lives, and improve the life quality of patients.

Neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin(NGAL),also known as lipocalin 2,has close relationship with human neoplasias,which is up-regulated in a number of malignancy and involves in the process of tumor development.But it appears to exist paradoxical effects attributed to NGAL in human neoplasias.For instance,through protecting MMP9 from autodegradation,NGAL has a clear pro-tumoral and pro-metastatic effect,as has already been observed in breast cancer and esophageal cancer.However,on the contrary,for pancreatic cancer and ovarian cancer,NGAL can inhibit FAK phosphorylation and vascular epidermal growth factor synthesis,having an anti-tumoral and anti-metastatic effect.This review summarizes the current knowledge about the dual effects of NGAL in the process of tumor development,and attempts to explore the possible underlyins mechanism.

How to handle the relationship between doctors and patients is currently a hot spot of society. The author first expounds the fundamental propositions in the theories of the science of value. Then, using the theories of the science of value, he first describes the relationship between the object and subject of value, viz. who comes first, the patients or the staff, arguing that in the mind of the hospital director there should always be an unbiased balance of value benefiting both sides. Then he describes the realistic form in which value exists, viz. which is more important, the value of utility or the value of effectiveness, arguing that the hospital director should lay equal emphasis on the staffs value of utility and the patients value of utility, thus satisfying both sides. Thirdly, the author describes value accounting and the cost of value, viz. the dual unity of the values of effects and effectiveness, arguing that creating value while paying cost indicates the dual nature of the practice of hospital administration. Hence the need to lower cost as much as possible and create greater value.

Objective To investigate the expression level of miR-133b in cancer tissues of patients with prostate cancer and its effect on the proliferation of prostate cancer cells.Methods The total RNAs in resected prostate cancer tissues and adjacent tissues from 30 patients with prostate cancer were extracted and reversely transcripted into cDNA,and then the expression levels of miR-133b were detected by real-time quantitative PCR.The correlations between the expression levels of miR-133b and the patients' clinicopathological features were analyzed.The expression of positive regulatory domain I-binding factor 16 (PRDM16) and proliferation of PC-3 cells transfected with miR-133b mimics by LipofectamineTM 3000 were determined by real-time quantitative PCR and the CCK8 method,respectively.Results The expression levels of miR-133b in prostate cancer tissues [(16.85 ± 0.94) × 10-4] was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues [(22.95 ± 1.567) × 10-4,t =3.335,P ＜ 0.01].The expression levels of PRDM16 in PC-3 cells transfected with miR-133b mimics were significantly lower than that in the control group (0.371 ±0.031 vs 1.000 ±0.022,t =12.53,P ＜ 0.01).The proliferation ability of PC3 cells transfected with miR-133b mimics for 72 hours was significantly lower than that in the control group (t =6.811,P ＜ 0.01).Similarly,the proliferation ability of PC-3 cells transfected with PRDM16 inhibitor for 72 hours was also significantly lower than that in the control group (t =9.048,P ＜0.01).Conclusion The expression levels of miR-133b in prostate cancer tissues are significantly down-regulated,which regulate the proliferation of prostate cancer cells possibly through PRDM16.

The Present study designed according to AOAC is conducted to evaluate the practical protein quality of the porcine blood solely and mixed with other dietary proteins.Proximate analysis shows the average contents of crude protein and water in the spray-drying porcine blood are 85.0% and 12.0% respectively.The porcine blood protein is scant of Isoleucine (0.5%) and its Leu/Ile ratio is as high as 26. The amino acid pattern results in poor protein quality of the porcine blood, with BV, NPU and NPR value being only 16.5, 15.5 and 0 respectively. Therefore diets containing porcine blood as a sole source of protein can not maintain the normal body weight of rats.But porcine whole blood protein is rich in Lysine (7.8%) . When the spray-drying porcine blood is mixed with the wheat flour in proportion of 3%, the protein quality of the mixed dietary protein comparing with either of its constitutional proteins, is improved remarkably and its nutritive parameter values (BV:73.3, NPU: 61.8, PER: 2.46, Calbrated PER:1.9 and NPR: 4.3 respectively) are higher than those of the wheat flour protein (BV: 55.3, NPU: 46.6, PER: 1.01, Calibrated PER: 0.8 and NPR: 3.1 respectively).

Objective To determine the relationship between preoperative plasma D-dimer level and the lymphnode metastasis characteristics in colorectal cancer patients.Methods A total of 106 patients with colorectal cancer were studied in order to evaluate this relationship.Their preoperative plasma D-dimer levels were measured.Results were correlated with the clinicopathological findings.Results Significantly different plasma D-dimer levels were found with respect to histologic N(P ＜ 0.001).The number of lymph node metastases was found to have the strongest association with D-dimer level among the significant clinicopathologic factors (Spearman rank correlation,P ＜0.001).The most useful cutoff of the plasma D-dimer levels for diagnosis of lymph node metastasis was determined to be 0.4 μg/mL.Conclusion Plasma D-dimer levels can help assess lymph node metastasis in patients with eophageal cancer and should be measured preoperatively.

Background Recent research showed that stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) plays critical role in mediating inflammation,metastasis of tumour and neovascularization of tumour.However,There is still no report about the research of the effects of SDF-1 on alkali-burn-induced corneal neovascularization (CNV).Objective The aim of this study attempts to investigate the role of SDF-1 and chemokine receptor CXCR4 in alkali-induced corneal neovascularization in mice.Methods Alkali-induced-corneal neovascularization animal models were constructed of in 15 eyes of 15 clean C57/BL mice by placing the filter paper with 1 mol/L NaOH to the central cornea for 10 seconds.The animals were sacrificed and specimens of cornea were obtained in 3,7,14 days after alkali burn of cornea.The expression of SDF-1/CXCR4 protein in the corneal tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot,and expression of SDF-1/CXCR4 mRNA was detected by reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR).Results SDF-1 was absent expressed and CXCR4 was faintly stained in normal cornea.The expression level of SDF-1 and CXCR4 was significantly enhanced in different time points after alkali burn in comparison with normal control mice by RT-PCR(P＜0.05),and the same trend was seen in the expression level of SDF-1 and CXCR4 proteins by Western blot (P＜0.05).The expression level of SDF-1 and CXCR4 in cornea peaked in the seventh day and began to decline in the fourteenth day but was still higher than normal level.Conclusion The study indicates that SDF-1/CXCR4 plays an important role in the formation of corneal new vessel in alkali-burn-induced animal model.

BACKGROUND:With increasing freeze-drying time,the water content of allogeneic bone reduces along with the bone mechanical strength.The suitable dehydration degree that maintains mechanical strength of allogeneic bone and allows long-term preservation at room temperature remains controversial.OBJECTIVE:To detect the mechanical properties of bovine bone nail following different degrees of dehydration using the three-point bending mechanics tests.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Biomechanical analysis,comparative observation.The experiment was performed at the Mechanical Laboratory of Southern Medical University between May 2007 and May 2008.MATERIALS:Bone nails,50 mm length and 3 mm diameter,made from healthy adult bovine femoral cortical bone were divided into control and freeze-drying groups (8,12,24 hours,respectively) with 20 samples in each group.METHODS:The water content of bone nails with or without freeze-drying was measured by SH10A Moisture Quick Determination Meter.Three-point bending mechanics tests were performed using MTS 858 Mini Bionix.The parameters included load range 0-2000 N,resolution 0.01 N,cross beam replacement resolution 0.001 mm,span 50 mm and loading speed (cross beam replacement speed) 2 mm/min.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Water content,maximal load and elasticity load.RESULTS:The water content of control group was 7%-9%,and following freeze-drying for 8 hours,the water content was 5.5%-6%,which met the standard of freeze-drying bone;Compared with control group,the maximal load and elasticity load reduced respectively 0.004% and 0.000 8% (P＞0.05).Following freeze-drying for 12 and 24 hours,the water content was 3.5%-4% and 1%-1.5%;the maximal load reduced 21% and 37% and the elasticity load reduced 22.5% and 39% compared with control group (P＜0.05).CONCLUSION:Freeze-drying for 8 hours is the best time of dehydration.The mechanical load and elastic modulus reduce with increasing freeze-drying time.
