Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(4):390-393
Objective To study the relationship between the thyroid dysfunction and coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods Two thousands and twelve patients, diagnosed as CAD by coronary angiography from January 2003 to February 2010 in Peking Union Hospital, were enrolled into this study and divided into normal thyroid function, hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism groups. The thyroid function data and the coronary angiography findings were compared among three groups. Results The incidence rates of hypertension (40%vs. 69. 4% vs. 78.6%, x2 = 12. 331, P = 0. 01) and hyperlipemia(20. 0% vs. 67.4% vs. 85.7%, x2 =12. 331 ,P=0. 002) in hyperthyroidism patients were significantly lower than normal thyroid function patients and hypothyroidism patients, but no significant differences were found in the comparison of diabetes incidence rates among three groups (20. 0% vs. 41.6% vs. 35.7%, x2 = 2. 114,P =0. 347). According to the coronary angiography findings, we found that the incidence rate of CAD of hypothyroidism patients was higher than hyperthyroidism patients(71.0% vs. 55. 2%, x2. = 1. 804, P = 0. 179), but the difference didn' t reach statistically significant level. Two hyperthyroidism patients had coronary artery spasm and acute myocardial infarction. Conclusion Hypothyroidism had more promotion effect on coronary artery disease than hyperthyroidism, but higher serum thyroxin level increased the risk of coronary spasm and the probability of acute myocardial infarction, which could be well adjusted by medication treatment.

The Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology 2017;33(6):576-578
Objective To explore the related factors on sore throat and pharyngeal xeransis during thyroid surgery. Methods Twenty-nine female patients, aged 24-67 years, BMI 18-30 kg/m2, falling into ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ, were scheduled for thyroid surgery. After anesthesia induction and tracheal intubation, the endotracheal intracuff was inflated to 20 mm Hg.Intracuff pressure was monitored every 5 minutes by a pressure transducer. At the time of 24 hours after tracheal intubation, the patients were asked about their throat complaints such as sore throat and pharyngeal xeransis. Results Endotracheal intracuff pressure during thyroid surgery was in a discrete distribution.Multiple linear regression model analysis found that age, BMI, anesthesia time and intracuff pressure had no obvious effects on sore throat.Decision tree model analysis found that patients undergoing thyroid surgery had higher probability of pharyngeal xeransis grade Ⅳ, when the average intracuff pressure was higher than 29 mm Hg.Conclusion Excessive endotracheal intracuff pressure during thyroid surgery due to operation causes pharyngeal xeransis.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2007;27(4):419-21
To investigate the therapeutic effect of high-dosage gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) on acute tetramine (TET) poisoning, 50 Kunming mice were divided into 5 groups at random and the antidotal effects of GABA or sodium dimercaptopropane sulfonate (Na-DMPS) on poisoned mice in different groups were observed in order to compare the therapeutic effects of high-dosage GABA with those of Na-DMPS. Slices of brain tissue of the poisoned mice were made to examine pathological changes of cells. The survival analysis was employed. Our results showed that both high-dosage GABA and Na-DMPS could obviously prolong the survival time, delay onset of convulsion and muscular twitch, and ameliorate the symptoms after acute tetramine poisoning in the mice. Better effects could be achieved with earlier use of high dosage GABA or Na-DMPS. There was no significant difference in prolonging the survival time between high-dose GABA and Na-DMPS used immediately after poisioning. It is concluded that high-dosage GABA can effectively antagonize acute toxicity of teramine in mice. And it is suggested that high-dosage GABA may be used as an excellent antidote for acute TET poisoning in clinical practice. The indications and correct dosage for clinical use awaits to be further studied.

China Pharmacist 2016;19(9):1726-1730
Pharmaceutical excipients are implementing registration and approval management in our country. As the disadvantages of the registration system appearing continuously, the demand for reform is getting higher and higher. The cry for drug master files ( DMF) model instead of registration and approval management is becoming more prominent. Based on the understanding of DMF sys-tem, the article discussed the positive roles of the excipients standards and guidelines construction in DMF implementation using phar-maceutical excipients supervision experience in the United States as the reference and starting from the standards and guidelines system of excipients, which aimed to provide suggestions for the supervision and management of pharmaceutical excipients, and improve the quality and safety of pharmaceutical excipients and drugs.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(09):-
From March 2004 to March 2005, 43 patients (49 hips) admitted to Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Fushun Central Hospital for minimally invasive total hip arthroplasty (THA) were selected, including 22 male and 21 female aged 22-79 years. All patients underwent THA with cementless prosthesis. The preoperative Harris scores were (46.2?5.3). For comparison, 35 patients (43 hips) were selected undergoing standard THA at the same period, including 22 male and 13 female, aged 31-78 years; 16 patients underwent THA with mixed prosthesis (cementless prosthesis for acetabulum; cemented prosthesis for the femur), and the others with cementless prosthesis. Their preoperative Harris scores were (43.4?4.6). The perioperative bleeding, operation time, incision length, postoperative functional recovery, and prosthetic position were compared. The THA was succeeded in all patients, and all subjects were followed up for 13.1 months averagely. The perioperative bleeding, drainage, blood transfusion and incision length in minimally invasive THA group were significantly less than standard group (P

OBJECTIVE:To understand the distribution and drug resistance of the pathogens by sputum culture in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) in our hospital so as to provide reference for rational use of antibiotics. METHODS:From Dec. 2010 to Dec. 2014,the sputum specimens were collected from the AECOPD patients, then the identification of 307 strains of pathogens and drug susceptibility test were carried out,and the data were analyzed statistically by using SPSS 17.0 software. RESULTS:A total of 307 strains of pathogens were collected,of which 17 cases of gram-positive ba-cillus accounted (5.54%),247 cases of gram negative cocci (80.46%),43 cases of fungi accounted (14.00%). The most com-mon isolates from sputum specimens were Pseudomonas aeruginosa (33.22%),Acinetobacter baumannii (19.54%),Stenotroph-omonas maltophilia(9.77%),Klebsiella pneumoniae(7.82%),Candida albicans(6.84%),etc. P. aeruginosa and A. baumannii were highly multidrug-resistant. There were 10 strains of ESBLs-producing K. pneumonia isolated, with the isolation rate of 41.67%. No Staphylococcus aureus strain was found resistant to vancomycin, teicoplanin or linezolid. Methicillin resistant strains in S. aureus(MRSA)accounted for 50.00%. CONCLUSIONS:Gram-negative bacilli are the most common pathogens in the AE-COPD patients. The common species of pathogens are highly resistant. More attention should be paid to the drug resistance monitor-ing of pathogens and rational use of antibiotics according to the results of susceptibility test.
