Objective To evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of domestic inactivated quadrivalent influenza vaccine(QIV)in people over three years old by using Meta-analysis,in order to provide evidence-based basis for formulating QIV immunization strategy in China.Methods Literature was retrieved by PubMed,EMBASE,Cochrane Library,China Biology Medicine disc(CBMd),Wanfang Database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI).All the studies were the random control trials for comparing and analyzing the safety and immunogenicity between domestic QIV and inactivated trivalent influenza vaccine(TIV)for people over three years old.Meta-analysis of the included literature data was performed using Stata1 1.0 software.Results A total of four pieces of literature were included.Compared with TIV,the combined effect value risk ratio(RR)of local and systemic reactions in QIV was 1.10(95% CI:0.88-1.38,I~2= 0,P = 0.809)and 0.97(95% CI:0.87-1.09,I~2= 0,P = 0.485),respectively.Compared with TIV,the RR of seroconversion rate(SCR)and seroprotection rate(SPR)of QIV for the same vaccine strains were 0.98-1.06 and 0.98-1.02,respectively,with no significant difference(I~2were 28.8%-89.9% and 0-80.2%,respectively,each P > 0.05);However,there were significant differences between TIV and QIV for the B vaccine strains not included in TIV.The RR of SCR and SPR for B/Victoria were2.88(95% CI:1.75-4.74,I~2= 98.3%,P < 0.001)and 1.64(95% CI:1.16-2.33,I~2= 99.3%,P < 0.001),while for B/Yamagata were 1.89(95% CI:1.57-2.27,I~2= 94.4%,P < 0.001)and 1.15(95% CI:1.04-1.28,I~2= 98.4%,P < 0.001),respectively.Conclusion For people over three years old,domestic QIV not only produced similar safety and immunogenicity levels to TIV,but also had better immune effect against influenza B vaccine strains not included in TIV.

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of domestic ziprasidone injection in the treatment of excitement and agitation in acute period of schizophrenia.Methods 60 patients with schizophrenia excited were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group.The treatment group was given ziprasidone 20 to 40mg/day by intramuscular injection,the control group was given haloperidol 10-20mg/day by intramuscular injection,the two groups were observed for three days.The positive and negative symptoms scale(PANSS)in the excitation factor(EC) points rate was used to assess efficacy,symptoms scale(TESS)was used to evaluate the adverse reaction.Before treatment,2,6,24,48,72 hours after treatment,the positive and negative symptoms scale of excitement factor (PANSS-EC)and symptoms scale(TESS)were evaluated.Results 72 hours after treatment,the PANSS -EC score in the ziprasidone group was obviously lower,the points rate was (69 ±18)%,the total effective rate was 83.3%,which of the haloperidol group were (71 ±26)%,86.7%,the differences between the two groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions between the ziprasidone group and haloperidol group had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).But in terms of the incidence of vertebral body system,the ziprasidone group(4 cases)was obviously less than the haloperidol group(13 cases),the difference was statistically significant(χ2 =6.65,P<0.05).Conclusion Ziprasidone injection is effective in the treatment of agitation in acute phase of schizophrenia,with less side effect,higher safety.

Objective To demonstrate clinical value of surgical repair combined with collateral embolization for tetralogy of Fallot with major aortopulmonary collateral arteries (MAPCAs).Methods The clinical catheterization and surgical data of 8 such patients from October 2004 to May 2008 were analyzed retrospectively.All 8 patients underwent completely surgical repair combined with MAPCAs occlusion.Of 25 collateral arteries,20 were occluded before surgical procedure and 5 small ones were left.Corrective repairs were accomplished under moderate hypothermic cardiopulmonary bypass.Ventricular septal defect was closed with Dacron patch,and all patients underwent non-valved autologous right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction.Results No complications were observed,only 1 patient got hypoxemia.Blood returned to left atrium from lung was decreased.During 6 months follow-up,7 cases were in NYHA class Ⅰ,another was in NYHA class Ⅱ.Conclusions In selective patients with dual pulmonary blood supply by both MAPCAs and native pulmonary arteries,this combined therapy of collateral embolization and surgical repair simplifies copmpleling surgical procedure,improves surgical results and achieves higher rate of one-stage repair.

?A great number of miRNAs have been shown to play critical roles in pathological angiogenesis, the oxidative stress response, immune response and inflammation, all of which have been shown to have important roles in the pathogenesis and progression of age- related macular degeneration ( AMD) . Here we reviewed the pathological processes involved in AMD and the roles of miRNAs in these processes, and discussed potential miRNAs-based therapeutics for AMD.

Objective To explore the role of ppk1 gene in E.coli CFT073 strain during urinary tract infection (UTI). Methods C57BL/6 mouse models of acute UTI with the wild-type(CFT073) and ppk1 mutant (△pk1) infected, were used to compare the bacteria colonization and inflammation induction abilities of bladder tissues. Results In the mouse models, the △pk1 strain showed a significantly lower infection rate (73.3% vs 93.3%) and lower adhesion frequency of bladder (0.01%vs 0.5%) than those of the CFT073 strain. The expression of IL-6 and TNF-αwere reduced in the bladder of △pk1 infected group (P<0.05). Hematoxylin-Eosin tissue staining showed that the damage degree of bladders in △pk1 infected mice were less serious than the CFT073 infected mice. Conclusion ppk1 gene plays an important role in E.coli colonization to bladder and the inflammation induction ability.

ObjectiveTo study the effect the low level laser irradiation in nostril combined with the electric stimulation of cerebellum on acute cerebral infarction.Methods88 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups, 45 cases in the study group who were accepted level laser irradiation in nostril combined with the electric stimulation of cerebellum and the normal medicine therapy, 43 cases in the control group who were accepted the normal medicine therapy only. The effects of two groups were observed.ResultsThe scores of the nervous function defect degree and the cerebrovascular dynamics indexes of study group were obviously increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01) compared with those before treatment. The indexes of blood viscosity were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.01).However, all these indexes of the control group showed no significantly difference before and after treatment. ConclusionThe low level laser irradiation in nostril combined with the electric stimulation of cerebellum therapy is effective on acute cerebral infarction.It is helpful for early comprehensive recovery of motor function of the hemiplegic limbs.

Objective To determine the distribution of various epilepsies and epileptic syndromes in the epileptic population treated in epilepsy clinics. Methods Totally 1191 patients with seizures visited between April and September, 2004 in epilepsy center of our hospital were analyzed based on International League Against Epilepsy (1989, ILAE) Classification. Results Of the 1191 cases, partial epilepsies and syndromes were 766 cases (64.3%), generalized epilepsies and syndromes were 240 cases (20.2%), epilepsies and syndromes undetermined whether partial or generalized were 79 cases (6.7%), special syndromes were 16 cases(1.3%),other non-epileptic disorders were 90 cases (7.6%). Symptomatic cases were dominant in partial epilepsies and syndromes, and idiopathic cases were dominant in generalized epilepsies and syndromes. Conclusions Most of epileptic patients might be classified accurately. Treatment should be administered as earlier as possible. The distribution of various epilepsies and epileptic syndromes is regular.
