1.Influence of dialectical nursing intervention on multiple dimensions of quality of life in stroke patients
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;29(28):4-8
Objective To explore the effects of dialectical nursing intervention on multiple dimensions of quality of life in stroke patients. Methods 100 patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group (50 cases in each group respectively). The intervention group received dialectical nursing intervention, but the control group received routine nursing. The quality of life of two groups was compared. Results There was no significant difference on MBI scores between the two groups when the patients entered the groups. However, significant differences were observed on MBI scores between the two groups after three, six months of treatment. There was significant difference on the physical function (PF) on the 3rd and 6th months between two groups. The score of the intervention group in the dimension of vitality(VT) and mental health(MH) was significantly different compared with the control group. The five dimensions of role-physical (RP),role-emotional (RE),bodily pain (BP),social functioning (SF) and general health (GH) of the intervention group were significantly different compared with the control group on the 6th month. There was significant difference on the physical function (PF),role-emotional (RE),vitality (VT),mental health (MH),general health (GH) after 3 and 6 months than the onset in the intervention group. Conclusions Dialectical nursing intervention can effectively improve the activity of daily living and the quality of life with multiple dimensions in stroke patients.

This study was aimed to establish a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method coupled with Evaporative Light-scattering Detector (ELSD) in order to develop the determination of fingerprint of terpene lactones in Ginkgo biloba tablets. An Agilent Extend-C18 (4.6 mm í 250 mm, 5 μm) was employed as the analysis column and the normal propyl alcohol-tetrahydrofuran-water (1:15:84) as mobile phase. The column temperature was 30℃. And the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. HPLC coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry (Q-TOF MS) was used to identify the common peaks. The fingerprint was further evaluated by chemometrics methods including principal component analysis (PCA), similarity analysis (SA) and hierarchical clus-tering analysis (HCA). The results showed that the precision, stability and repeatability of this method were favorable. Five common peaks were identified by LC/Q-TOF MS as ginkgolide J ( M ) , C , A , B and bilobalide , respectively . Fourteen batches of Ginkgo biloba tablets were determined. With the aid of PCA, SA and HCA, the common pattern of the fingerprint of terpene lactones was established. Samples were divided into 4 clusters by their quality differ-ence. It was concluded that the method established in this paper can be used for quality evaluation of terpene lac-tones in G ink go b ilob a tablets.

Epigenetic modification, especially histone modification, plays an important role in maintaining plant genome stability, regulating gene expression and promoting regeneration in vitro. MtSERK1 is an important marker gene involved in establishing of embryogenic callus during in vitro regeneration of Medicago truncatula. In order to understand the regulation Epigenetic modification, especially histone modification, plays an important role in maintaining plant genome stability, regulating gene expression and promoting regeneration in vitro. MtSERK1 is an important marker gene involved in establishing of embryogenic callus during in vitro regeneration of Medicago truncatula. In order to understand the regulation relationship between dynamic histone modification and MtSERK1s expression during the processes of in vitro organogenesis, the expression of MtSERK1 was analyzed by qRT-PCR, and the modification status of H3K9me2, H3K4me3 and H3K9ac in the promoter region and different regions included in the gene body was analyzed by chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP). We found expression activation of MtSERK1 was related to the dynamic changes of histone H3K4me3 and H3K9ac in the 5' and 3' regions. This study will provide important theoretical guidance for understanding of the regulatory mechanism of MtSERK1 and also for establishing efficient genetic transformation system of Medicago truncatula.
