1.Implantation of self-tooth for repair of dentition defect

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of self-tooth grafting in repair of dentition defect.Methods Twenty-one cases were repaired by self-tooth that were pulled without function or impacted tooth onto the other place in dentition when the original teeth were missing,they were treated root canal completly. Results Twenty-one patients had been monitored for 3 years,sixteen patients of whom were prefect transplantations and stable. It demonstrated the high success rate of dental into plant and statistying restorated effect, four patients of 21 patients were satisfactory, only one of 21 patients was failure. Conclusion Self-tooth grafting is effective to the repair of dentition defect and oould be popularized.
2.Expression of nm23 mRNA,p16 in human lung cancer and their significance on tissue microarray

Purpose:To explore the relationship between the expression of nm23mRNA,p16 and the oncogenesis,development and metastasis of lung cancer.Methods:Expressional level of nm23mRNA,p16 was detected in 72 human lung cancer samples and 23 normal tissues adjacent to cancer respectively,and their correlation with lymph node metastasis and the degree of cell differentiation was studied by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) methods on tissue microarray.Results:The positive expression for nm23mRNA in cancer samples,in human tissues adjacent to cancer and in primary cancer with lymph node metastasis was 55.6%(40/72),82.6%(19/23),25.0%(6/24) respectively.The positive expression for p16 was 45.8%(33/72),73.9%(17/23),25.0%(6/24) respectively.The expression level of nm23mRNA and p16 were closely related to the degree of cell differentiation( P 0.05).Conclusions:These results suggest that nm23 gene and p16 gene are closely related to the degree of cell differentiation and lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.The lower expression level of nm23mRNA and p16 predicts the metastasis of lung cancer, and the two genes may be an index in monitoring the status and evaluating the prognosis of the lung cancer.
3.Hyperbaric oxygen plus Nimodipine for carbon monoxide poisoning

Four hundred eighty patients with carbon monoxide poisoning were randomly assigned to receive hyperbaric oxygen alone or hyperbaric oxygen plus Nimodipine.Treatment outcomes and the incidence of delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning(DEACMP)were observed.We found that the incidence of DEACMP was 14.0%(67/480)in all cases,19.2%(46/67)in hyperbaric oxygen group,and 8.8%(21/67)in hyperbaric oxygen plus Nimodipine group(hyperbaric oxygen group vs hyperbaric oxygen plus Nimodipine group,P<0.05).These results suggested that hyperbaric oxygen combined with Nimodipine could prevent the development of DEACMP.
4.Surgical treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease

Secondary hyperparathyroidism is the most common complication of patients with chronic kidney disease.For patients poorly responding to medical treatment,parathyroidectomy would be the best choice.This article reviews the indications and modalities of surgical treatment for secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease.
5.Research progress on hyalinizing trabecular tumor

Hyalinizing trabecular tumor (HTT) is a primary thyroid tumor discovered 20 years ago. This tumor is usually misdi-agnosed as papillary thyroid carcinoma because of their many similar nuclear features. Although controversy has focused on the malig-nant potential of HTT, results show that this tumor has a favorable clinical prognosis. Improving the preoperative diagnosis of HTT can reduce the scope of operation because misdiagnosis before or during surgery may lead to unnecessary total thyroidectomy. This study re-viewed the pathology, diagnosis, therapy, and prognosis of HTT.
6.Quantitative determination of JAK2V617F mutation and its application in chronic myeloproliferative disorders

Objective To quantitatively determine JAK2V617F mutation by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (FQ-PCR)and to analyze its diagnostic value in chronic myeloproliferative disorders(CMPD).Methods FQ-PCR was adopted to detect the positive rate and the relative quantification of JAK2V617F gene mutation in the marrow samples of 68 patients with CMPD.Their diagnostic value in CMPD and their relation with the clinical data were analyzed.Results The marrow samples in 68 cases of CMPD were successfully amplified in wild-type and mutant JAK2V617F.The total positive rate of the JAK2V617F gene mutation was 66.2%(45/68).The positive rate was 75.0%(21/28)in the patients with polycythemia vera(PV),60.6%(20/33)in the patients with primary thrombocythemia(ET)and 57.1%(4/7)in patients with idiopathic myelofibrosis respectively.The posi-tive rate of JAK2V617F mutation in the PV patients was significantly higher than that in the patients with ET and IMF.The JAK2V617F relative quantification in the PV patients was positively correlated with the hemoglobin concentration and white blood cell(WBC)count,and which in the ET patients was positively correlated with the platelet count.Conclusion FQ-PCR can quickly and accurately detect JAK2V617F mutation and its mutation ratio,which provides an effective laboratory indicator for the clinical diagnosis of CMPD.Certain relation exists between the JAK2V617F relative quantification and the clinical hematological indexes of the patients.
7.The relationship between Proto-oncogenes expression and airway inflammatory cell infiltration in asthma

AIM: To investigate the relationship between inflammatory cell infiltration and proto-oncogenes expression in asthma. METHODS: Guinea pigs were used as asthma models challenged by ovoglobulin. Dot-blot, Northern-blot and immunochemical techniques were used to detect the expression of c-fos, c-myc, c-jun and c-sis. Inflammatory cell infiltration was showed by pathologic study.RESULTS: c-fos and c-myc mRNA could not be detected or expressed at very low level in control group. Those were greatly increased after the animals are challenged by ovoglobulin. Immunochemical study showed that Fos, Myc, Jun and Sis expressed at low level in control group, and those were increased after the challenge. There was little inflammatory cell infiltration in control group. Lymphocyte, neutrophil and eosinophil were detected immediately after the challenge, a great number of inflammation cells could be seen after 12-24 h of the challenge. Majority of neutrophil and eosinophil were under mucosa or in epithelium in airway. CONCLUSION: Oncogenes expression had strong relationship with airway inflammation.
8.Promotion of basic aloe mastic on wound healing of tooth extraction in rats

Objective To evaluate the effect of basic aloe mastic on the healing process after tooth extraction in rats. Methods The models of tooth extraction wound were established by extracting the left and right maxillary first molares in 60 Wistar rats,and randomly divided into two groups. Right sides of teeth extraction socket were used as experimental groups,experimental group 1 was filled with 30% aloe mastic ,experimental group 2 was filled with 50% aloe mastic. Left sides of teeth extraction socket were used as control group. The histological observation was performed after tooth extraction at 2,4,6,8,11,and 15 days.
