Objective To prohc into the distinguished feature of postoperation of early inflammatory intesti- nal and the principle of diagnosis and treatment.Methods 23 cases of early intestinal postoperatively treated during the year of 2003 to 2005 were analysed.Results In the 23 cases,20 of them were treated conservatively while 3 of them were treated operatively,both of which were recovered and dischanged from hospital.Conclusion The early inflammatory intestinal postoperatively is a kind of special one in which both mechanical factor and dynamic factor could be found.Most of the patients could be cured by conservative way and they should surely be in closed observa- tion of the condition in order to be handled properly.

Objective To study the feasibility of microsurgical technique to denervate sympathetic of femoral artery in rabbit, providing a reliable animal experimental model for further study of the mechanism of neuralization in bone tissue engineering.Methods From July, 2014 to July, 2015, 21 New Zealand white rabbits were divided into 4 groups randomly: the control group (n =3), the 4 weeks group (n =6), the 8 weeks group (n =6) and the 12 weeks group (n =6).Bilateral femoral arteries of the 21 rabbits were exposed.Adventitia of femoral arteries in 3 test groups were removed for about 2cm by microsurgical technique, whereas adventitia of the control group remained intact without any treatment.The arteries samples were collected at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks after treatment.The structure of vascular were indicated by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining, and the distribution and volume of the sympathetic fibers were evidenced by glyoxylic acid staining and the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), the marked protein of sympathetic.Results The adventitia of 3 test groups were invisible or lost most of it while the control group remained intact shown by HE staining.For glyoxylic acid staining, the fluorescence intensity value of the control group, 4 weeks group, 8 weeks and 12 weeks were 0.08124 ± 0.00260, 0.02920 ± 0.00206, 0.02661 ± 0.00233, 0.03094 ± 0.00211, respectively (n =6).The distribution and fluorescence intensity of sympathetic nerve were both significantly reduced in test groups compared to the control group (P ＜ 0.05).And there was no statistical difference among the 3 test groups (P ＞ 0.05).Semi-quantitative analysis of the expression of TH was 0.8626 ± 0.03519, 0.3631 ± 0.03019, 0.3964 ± 0.02239, 0.3487 ± 0.02356 respectively, which showed the same tendency as glyoxylic acid staining test.Conclusion Microsurgical technique is promising as an ideal method for the local denervation of sympathetic nerve from artery system as it can significantly reduce sympathetic fibers on adventitia without regeneration during the experimental period.

OBJECTIVETo explore the diagnostic value of the radiologic characteristics of osteoporotic Kummell's disease.

METHODSTotal 16 patients with pathologically confirmed osteoporotic Kummell's diseases were reviewed from May 2010 to May 2012, including 4 males and 12 females with the mean age of 73.4 years (ranged, 67 to 83 years old). Radiologic imagings of all patients, including X-ray, CT and MRI, were analyzed retrospectively.

RESULTSIntravertebral linear clefts could be seen on the AP and lateral X-ray films of vertebrae. Sagittal and axial CT scans demonstrated the vacuum cleft phenomenon with liquid and air was identified within the vertebral body. Sagittal MRI showed the callapsed vertebral segment and the area of fluid signal with clear and intact border within the vertebral body. The fluid signal was low on T1-weighted images and high on T2-weighted images and stir images, which was corresponding to an intravertebral vacuum cleft.

CONCLUSIONThe radiologic characteristics of Kurmmell's diseases can provide valuable evidences for the early diagnosis.

Objective To investigate the best injection position and curative effect of ultrasound-guided thrombin injection (UGTI)on femoral pseudoaneurysm (FPA).Methods Review the data of FPA cases in the neurology department of southwest hospital from January 2010 to June 2015.Detailed clinical information of the patients,including the curative effect of local compression therapy,the position,meth-od,dosage and curative effect of ultrasound-guided thrombin injection were collected and analyzed.Results From January 2010 to June 2015,43 cases (1.20%)of FPA were diagnosed in 3573 patients undergoing cerebrovascular interventional operation.Local compression therapy was effective in 11 of 43 FPA patients.The remaining 32 patients who had no response to local compression therapy were treated by UGTI,and the average dosage of thrombin was (30 ±12)IU.All FPA were blocked successfully within 1 minute and without any distal em-bolism events after the first UGTI attempt.No relapse and complications occurred during the follow-up of 5 to 70 months,averagely (38.69 ± 20.79)months.Conclusion UGTI is effective for treatment of FPA who had no response to local compression therapy.Thrombin injection at position far away from the blood flow direction of pseudoaneurysm neck crevasse with ultrasound-guided could bring about highe success rate, less amount of thrombin,and less complications.

BackgroundIt has been proved that as a chemokine,interferon-inducible protein-10(IP-10)can regulate the immuno-inflammatory reaction.Some new researches showed that IP-10 also played role in regulating the neovascular vessel formation.Corneal neovascularization (CNV) is associated with multiple cellular factors,but its mechanism is below clear.Objective The present study was to address the roles of exogenous mouse IP-10 in alkali burn-induced CNV.Methods Eighty-two SPF BALB/c mice were used in this experiment and grouped according to random number table.The corneal alkali burn models were established by putting the filter paper with 1 mol/L NaOH at the central corneas of the left eyes for 40 seconds.10 mg/L IP-10 was topically administered from the first day or 14 days after modeling in the early intervene group( 10 eyes)or middle-late intervene group(5 eyes).CNV area was measured as a percentage of whole cornea.0.2％ sodium hyaluronate(HA) as vehicle was utilized in the model control group.Angiogenic factor expression in corneal tissue in the early intervene group was quantified by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)and compared with model control group.All animal experiments were performed in accordance with the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Statement for the Use of Animals in Ophthalmic and Vision Research and complied with the standards of Guidelines for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals of Soochow University. ResultsThe CNV percentage was(88.67±10.22) ％ in the model control mice,showing a significant increase in comparison with that of IP-10 early intervene group (70.06±12.21)％ (t=3.77,P=0.00).In 21 days after corneal alkali burn,the CNV percentage was(87.33±13.47)％ in the model control mice,and that of the IP-10 middle-late intervene group was ( 86.56± 12.47 ) ％ without significant difference between them ( t =1.26,P＞0.05 ).Two days or four days after IP-10 early intervene,the expressions of chemokine receptor type 3 ( CXCR3 ) in corneal tissue were significant higher than model control group( t =3.13,3.07,P＜0.05 ),but the expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in cornea were lowed ( t =5.99,6.27,P＜0.01),and so were transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) (t =8.50,P＜0.01;t =4.53,P＜0.05).Conclusions The early topical administration of the exogenous mouse IP-10 can inhibit CNV by up-regulating CXCR3 expression and down-regulating VEGF and TGF-β1 expression in cornea.However,middle-later usage of the IP-10 is uneffective.

Background Dominant eye is one of the functional asymmetric organ,and the dfference between dominant eye and undominant eye is a researching hotspot.But the study about accommodation in adult myopia is less.Objective This study was to determine the association between ocular dominances and accommodative factors in the subjects with adult myopia.Methods This study used prospective descriptive research method.Thirty-five subjects aged from 18 to 35 years with the myopia ranged from-2.00 D to-10.00 D and anisometropia less than 1.5 D,BCVA≥ 1.0 were recruited consecutively in this study.Ocular dominance was determined using the hole-inthe-card test and thumb test.Refractive error was measured with objective and subjective optometry,and amplitude of accommodation was measured by push-up test.Fusion cross cylinder(FCC) was used to measure the accommodative lag,and flipper test was applied to determine the accommodative facility.Oral informed consent was obtained from each subject before any relevant examination.Results No significant differences were found in the amplitude of accommodation (D),accommodative facility (cpm) and accommodative lag (D) between the dominant eye and undominant eye (accommodative amplitude:9.69 D±2.30 D vs.9.60 D±2.37 D,P =0.294 ;accommodative facility: 11.08 D±4.20 D vs.10.63 D± 4.60 D,P=0.260;accommodative lag:P=0.141).In the patients with the right eyes as dominance eyes,the accommodative amplitude of both eyes were (9.48±2.29) cpm and (9.33 ± 2.49) cpm,and accommodative facility were (10.50 ± 4.70) cpm and (9.99 ± 4.90) cpm.There were no significant differences between the right and left eyes in the accommodative amplitude,accommodative facility and accommodative lag (P =0.319,0.116,0.590).In the patients with the left eyes as dominant eyes,the accommodative amplitude of both eyes were (9.91±2.35)D and (9.88±2.26) D,and accommodative facility were (10.70±3.77)cpm and (11.25 ±4.27) cpm.No significant differences were seen between the right eyes and left eyes in the accommodative amplitude,accommodative facility and accommodative lag (P =0.749,0.295,0.238).Conclusions The amplitude of accommodation of the dominant eye is not significantly enhanced,and less accommodative lag and better accommodative facility also are found in the demonstrate eye in myopia adults with low anisometropia.

Catdiomyopathies are diseases that primarily affect the myocardium,leading to serious cardiac dysfimction and heart failure.Out of the three major categories of candiomyopathies(hypertrophic,dilated and restrictive),restrictive cardiomyopathy(RCM)is less common and also the least studied However,the prognosis for RCM is poor as some patients dying in their childhood The molecular mechanisms behind the disease development and progression are not very clear and the treatment of RCM is very difficult and often ineffective.In this article,we reviewed the recent progress in RCM research from the clinical studies and the translational studies done on diseased transgenic animal models.This will help for a better understanding of tare mechanisms underlying the etiology and development of RCM and for the design of better treatments for the disease.
