It is first time to use dextren T-40 oxidative method to conjugate anti-gastric cancer mono-colonal antibody(McAb)with anti-tumor medicines of daunorubicin(DNR)and methotrexate(MTX)together.Cytotoxicity of conjugates was measured by MTT method and ~3H-TdR incor-poration method respectively.Both sensitivity is similar.The results have showed that this conju-gate exhibited selective cytotoxicity on human gastric cancer cells in vitro.

Objective To evaluate the clinical and pathological factors that may influence serum prostate specific antigen(PSA)level in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH).Methods A total of 561 cases of BPH diagnosed by pathological examination following operation were analyzed retrospec- tively.The patients'mean age was(68.3?6.3)years.The International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS)was 21.1?7.4;the quality of life(QOL)was 4.5?0.8;Qmax was(7.3?3.3)ml/s;prostate volume(PV) was(69.8?36.8)ml;andpost-void residue(PVR)was(81.9?105.8)ml.Results Of 561 cases,223 cases(39.8%)had serum PSA level at 4-10 ng/ml,and 91 cases(16.2%),over 10 ng/ml.The level of serum PSA was not significantly associated with age,IPSS,QOL,Qmax and PVR(r=0.08,0.03,0.06,0.04 and 0.09,respectively;P＞0.05),but significantly associated with prostate volume of BPH(r=0.42,P＜0.01).The level of serum PSA was significantly elevated in BPH patients with enlarged prostate volume (F=93.45,P＜0.05)and the history of acute urinary retention(x~2= 59.1,P＜0.01).Additionally,a significantly increased PSA level was noted in tissue specimens with glandular hyperplasia(x~2=16.14,P＜0.01)or necrotic loci in BPH patients(x~2=36.06,P＜0.01).Conclusions An elevated serum PSA level was observed in more than 50% of BPH patients undergoing surgical resection.Enlarged prostate volume,the history of acute urinary,retention,and tissue specimens with glandular hyperplasia or necrotic foci are considered to be the main causes leading to elevated PSA level in BPH patients.

OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy of treating chronic persistent bronchial asthma (CPBA) children with abnormal myocardial enzyme spectrum (AMES) by Yupingfeng Powder (YP) combined routine therapy.

METHODSFrom January 2010 to December 2012, 156 CPBA children patients with AMES were randomly assigned to the treatment group (80 cases) and the control group (76 cases). All patients received routine treatment (inhaled corticosteroids and/or leukotriene regulator). Besides, those in the treatment group took YP. The treatment duration was 3 months. The scores of children asthma control test (C-ACT), pulmonary function (FEV,% and PEF%), myocardial enzyme spectrum were observed before and after treatment, and 3 months before and after treatment. The myocardial enzyme spectrum of 40 healthy children at the baby clinics during the same period were recruited as the control.

RESULTSCompared with the control group, creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB), creatine kinase(CK), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) increased in the two treatment groups (P <0.01), but there was no statistical difference in AST (P >0.05). Compared with before treatment in the same group, CK-MB, CK, LDH, and AST decreased in the treatment group after treatment and 3 months after treatment (P <0.01). CK-MB, CK, LDH, and AST decreased in the control group 3 months after treatment (P <0.01, P <0.05).Compared with after treatment, CK decreased in the control group 3 months after treatment (P <0.01). C-ACT score, FEV(1),%, and PEF% all increased in the two groups after treatment and 3 months after treatment (P <0.01, P <0.05). Compared with after treatment in the same group, CK decreased in the control group 3 months after treatment (P <0. 01). Compared with the control group in the same period, post-treatment CK-MB and CK decreased (P <0. 01, P <0. 05), while post-treatment C-ACT score, FEV, %, and PEF% increased (P <0.05) in the treatment group (P <0.05).

CONCLUSIONYP could strengthen specific and non-specific immunity of the organism, and improve clinical symptoms and the level of myocardial enzyme spectrum.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of greenlight photoselective vaporization of prostate (PVP) in high-risk elder patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods A total of 120 high-risk elder patients with BPH underwent PVP procedure. The operating time, blood 1oss, indwelling catheterization and operation-related complications were monitored. The variables such as international prostate symptom score (IPSS), Quality of life (QOL) score, maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax) and residual urine volume (RUV) were recorded and compared pre- and post-operatively. Results All the 120 patients had a good peri-operative condition. The mean operating time was (52. 6 ± 5.8 )min, intraoperative blood loss was (20.4 ±9.5) ml. Among the 120 cases,26 did not received postoperative catheterization. In the other 94 cases received postoperative catheterization, the mean catheterization time was (24. 5 ± 15.9) hour. IPSS and QOL scores decreased from (28.5 ± 3.8) and (5.0 ± 0.8) preoperatively to (7.2 ± 1.8) and (1.5 ± 0.6)postoperatively. Qmax increased from ( 5.2 ± 3.1 ) ml/s to ( 15.2 ± 4.3 ) ml/s, and RUV decreased from ( 118.6 ± 15.2) ml to ( 16. 5 ± 4. 6) ml. There was significant difference for these parameters before and after the operation (Ps ＜ 0. 05 ). Conclusion The PVP is considered to be a safe, effective and minimally invasive procedure to treat BPHin high-risk elder patients. It is easy to manipulate, with advantages of shorter operating time,less blood loss, better tolerance and rapid recovery, especially for high-risk elder patients with BPH.

Objective To observe the effect of low arsenic sub-chronic exposure on blood routine test index in rabbits to pave a way for screening early injury of the low arsenic exposure. Methods Twelve healthy male rabbits were randomly divided into four groups. They were administrated with As at the concentration of 0(control), 10, 50 and 250 μg/L in the drinking water. Blood samples were collected from the vein of the ear edge in 8 weeks, and blood test routine including leukocyte (WBC), lymphocyte (LYM), lymphocyte percentage (LYM%), neutrophil (GRA), neutrophil percentage (GRA%), monocyte (MON), monocyte percentage (MON%), red blood cell (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), hematocrit (HCT), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin content (MCH), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC), RDW, platelets(PLT), mean platelet volume(MPV), platelet hematocrit(PCT) and platelet distribution width (PDW), were detected by the ABX-60 hemocyte analyzer. Results Compared with the control group, the WBC, GRA and GRA% increased in 0, 50 and 250 μg/L groups, but there was no significance(P > 0.05). PLT and MPV had a statistical significance in 4 groups(F = 4.07,4.20, all P < 0.05). Compared with the control group[(292.00±16.97)×109/L, (7.10±0.99)fL], PLT decreased in the 250 μg/L group [(221.33±22.50)×109/L] and MPV decreased in the 50μg/L group [(5.57±0.46)fL] significantly (P < 0.05). The other index didn't change obviously. Conclusions Sub-chronic low level arsenic exposure may lead to the change in the blood system. The blood routine test may be considered for early injury of the arsenic poisoning.

Objective To explore the rehabilitation needs and its influential factors of adults with physical disability in Shanghai, and to provide evidence for decision-making of the precise rehabilitation service. Methods From November to December, 2016, the rehabilitation demands, utilization rate and its influential factors of 390 registered people with physical disability were investigated with a questionnaire. Results The service of occupational rehabilitation met 62.34%and educational rehabilitation met 52.00%of the needs of adults with physi-cal disability at the age of 18 to 40 years. The service of occupational rehabilitation met 38.71%and educational rehabilitation met 35.29%of the needs of adults with physical disability of grade two. The main obstacle to the service utilization wasDo not know(67.34%). As a part ofotherreason, the cumulative frequency oftemporarily not neededaccounted for 16.41%in all reasons. Conclusion The rehabili-tation service should focus unmet needs to complete the community rehabilitation and health governance, and optimize the service system.

Objective:To explore the mechanism of the embolism and sclerotherapy of fibrin glue combined with bleomycin (FG/BLM) for the treatment of cervicofacial vascular malformations by color doppler ultrasound.Methods:10 patients with venous malformation(VM) and 10 patients with arterio-venous malformation(AVM) were included.All patients underwent embolism and sclerotherapy of FG/BLM guided by ultrasound.Color doppler ultrasound was used to record the real-time two-dimensional ultrasonography and color doppler image.The flow and distribution of FG/BLM after injection into the lesions were observed.Results:Two-dimensional ultrasonography showed clumps or flake strong echo after immediate injection of FG/BLM into the cavity of VMs,then floated in the abnormal venous lumen and diffused throughout the cavity.At the later stage the lesions were filled by a large number of flocculent and netted low echo,and patchy strong echo.The volume of VMs cavity expanded dramaticlly,and the blood flow signal was significantly decreased.After injection of FG/BLM into the lumen of AVMs,clumps or flake strong echo were observed,then most of the snowflake strong echo rapidly filled or scattered along with blood stream to the distal part of the vessels.The color doppler showed significantly decrease of blood flow signal.Conclusion:FG/BLM injection can embolize and block the draining vein of VM,and play a role on the storage of sclerozing agent.FG/BLM injection can embolize both the dilated blood vessels and capillary network of AVM.

Objective To explore the effect of iodine on the pathogenesis of postpartum thymiditis.Methods Forty-four female C57BL/6J mice,8-week old,fed by low iodine dietary(the concentration of iodine≤35 μg/kg),were randomly divided into 4 groups:non-pregnancy experimental autoimmune thymiditis(non-pregnancy EAT)group with 8 mice,EAT of mice was induced by immunization with pig's thyroglobulin(Tg)in the presence of complete Freund's adjuvant.Six mice in non-pregnancy EAT group survived at the end of experiment;normal iodine-PPT(NI-PPT)group,10-fold high iodine-PPT(10HI-PPT)group and 50-fold high iodine-PPT(50HI-PPT)group with 12 mice in each group.The last 3 groups mice,who received the same immunization schedule as the above,were mated with adult male mice followed by induction of EAT.In the end,7,6 and 6 mice were noticed to be pregnant in each group.All animals were killed 4 weeks after postpartum.Histological severity of thyroid specimens was evaluated.The serum level of thyroglobulin antibody(Tg-Ab),thyroid pomxidase antibody(TPO-Ab),TT3 and TT4 were measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA).The expression level of IFN-γ/IL-4 mRNA in spleenwere assayed by RT-PCR.Results Pathological examination showed the infiltration of inflammatory cells.epithelial cell applanation,follicle atrophy or destruction.The severity of inflammation in non-pregnancy EAT bgroup.NI-PPT group and 10HI-PPT group was less serious than that in the 50HI-PPT group,the difference has bstatistical significance(P＜0.05).The level of TPO-Ab in non-pregnancy EAT group,NI-PPI-group,10HI-PPTgroup and 50HI-PPT group wag(14.32±8.85)%,(64.45±10.52)%,(38.46±5.57)%and(90.09±9.98)%.respectively the difference being statistically significant between any two groups(P＜0.05).There was no statisticaldifference(F＝0.484,P＞0.05)of Tg-Ab among non-pregnancy EAT group[(33.74±3.71)%],NI-PPT group [(29.65±2.06)%],10HI-PPT group[(37.21±3.87)%]and 50HI-PPT group[(33.87±4.17)%].There was no statistical difference(F＝1.596,P＞0.05)of TT3 among non-pregnancy EAT group (2.47±0.69)%,NI-PPT group(1.57±0.25)%,10HI-PPT group[(1.60±0.28)%]and 50HI-PPT group[(1.82±0.75)%].The level of TT4 in 50HI-PPT group[(66.68±5.47)%]was lower than that in non-pregnancy group,NI-PPT group and 10HI-PPTgroup[(99.87±5.97)%,(89.13±7.64)%and(91.05±5.82)%],the difference being statistically significant(P＜0.05).The expression level of IFN-γ mRNA was increasing,being 1.02±0.10,1.37±0.10,1.39±0.12 and 1.68±0.06 in non-pregnancy EAT group,NI-PPT group,10HI-PPT group and 50HI-PPT group.The difference had a statistical significance between any two groups except for NI-PPT group and 10HI-PPT group(P＜0.05).The expression level of IL-4 mRNA in 10HI-PPT group(0.49±0.04)and 50HI-PPT group(0.53±0.06)were all higher than non-pregnancy EAT group(0.24±0.05)and NI-PPT group(0.35±O.05),the differences being statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusions Adequate iodine supplementation during pregnancy and postpartum period is necessary,but iodine excess could induce postpartum thyroiditis.So iodine supplementation during pregnancy and postpartum should be adequate and reasonable.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effective techniques for correction of lacrimal groove and palpebromalar groove deformity in the middle-aged and old people.

METHODThe lacrimal groove and palpebromalar groove deformity was corrected by the techniques of transcutaneous orbital fat releasing and pedicle orbital fat flap filling. From 1996 to 2011, 426 patients, aged from 35 to 72 (average, 48), were treated by the techniques. Among them, 54 patients had underwent the surgical treatment before this operation. 362 patients were followed up for 3-24 months.

RESULTSCompletely correction was achieved in 283 patients, obvious improvement in 79 patients. The result was not satisfied in 2 patients with severe deformity who had surgical treatment before.

CONCLUSIONThe lacrimal groove and palpebromalar groove deformity can be effectively corrected by transcutaneous orbital fat releasing and pedicle orbital fat flap in the middle-aged and old people.

To study the association between penetration enhancement effect of essential oils and drug properties of traditional Chinese medicines. Through literature research, 34 kinds of essential oils with the penetration enhancement effect were collected. The methods of frequency analysis and variable crosstab were used for intuitive analysis and association analysis. The association between penetration enhancement effect of essential oils and drug properties (four natures, five flavors, channel tropism) were analyzed by a general linear model. According to the findings, the essential oils with penetration enhancement effect were all sourced from acrid traditional Chinese medicines, because their positive drug nature contributed to the enhancement of the penetration effect of essential oil; five flavors had little effect on penetration enhancement (P = 0.6982), but four natures and channel tropism showed significant effects (P = 0.011, 0.077). In conclusion, there were obvious association and regularity between penetration enhancement effect of essential oils and drug properties of traditional Chinese medicine.
