Objective To study the chemical constituents in Sparganium stoloniferum. Methods The compounds were isolated by repeated silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 chromatographies. The structures of isolated compounds were identified by analysis of their spectral data and chemical reactions. Results Nine compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as daucosterol palmitate (Ⅰ), ?-sitosterol palmitate (Ⅱ), 24-methylenecycloartanol (Ⅲ), 6, 7, 10-trihydroxy-8-octadecenoic acid (Ⅳ), vanillic acid (Ⅴ), p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (Ⅵ), 2,3-dihydroxypropyl palmitate (Ⅶ), 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde (Ⅷ), ?-sitosterol (Ⅸ). Conclusion Compounds Ⅰ-Ⅲ and Ⅴ-Ⅷ are obtained from the plants of Sparganium L. for the first time.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 1991;0(02):-
Objective: Stress, coping and mental health of the different educational level groups, the different gender groups and the different ages groups were studied. Methods: Ss (N=4 745) of a group corporation evaluated their stress levels, ways of coping and mental health with a self-developed Social Stressor Questionnaire, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire and SCL-90 scale. Results: The lower educated groups scored lowest in social stressor, positive coping (PC), negative coping (NC) and SCL-90.The higher educated groups scored highest in social stressor, PC and NC, Man scored higher in social stressor, PC and NC, but lower in SCL-90 than women. The younger groups scored higher in social stressor and SCL-90 than older group. Conclusion: The result showed the latter education can improve mental health.

Objective To evaluate the effects of a health education project on prevention and control of iodine deficiency disorders. Methods From January to June 2011,an investigation was conducted using combined unified questionnaire in 9 counties on target population, and 3 townships were chosen in each project county.Health educational activities were carried out in grade 5 classes in the central primary school. In the meantime,3 villages were chosen in each selected township where the health educational activities in the community were carried out. Before and after the health educational activities, questionnaire surveys on knowledge of iodine deficiency disorders were conducted in each project county.Thirty students in one class of grade 5 in the central primary school were selected, and 15 women of childbearing age near the central primary school were selected too.The health education content included but not limited to:popular science films about the knowledge on endemic disease prevention and public-interest ads were broadcasted by radio, television, newspapers and other media in the project counties, aiming at spreading knowledge on prevention and treatment of endemic diseases. In each of the project township government and village committee locations, posters, banner pieces and slogan suspensions about knowledge on endemic disease prevention were posted or put up.In the project rural hospitals,a special bulletin boards was set up,and in the village clinics (rooms),posters were put up,to carry out a training program for women of childbearing age on endemic disease prevention. In primary schools, students in grades 4 to 6 were given a class about knowledge on prevention and treatment of iodine deficiency disorders, aiming at their transferring the learned knowledge to family members. Results A total of 2678 persons were investigated before and after the health education. After health education, the rate of knowledge(the correct answer rate) on iodine deficiency disorders increased from 69.04% (1920/2781) to 94.08% (2622/2787,x2 =580.63,P < 0.05) among primary school students, and 74.76%(924/1236) to 92.60%(1139/1230,x2 =143.59,P < 0.05) among women of childbearing age. Conclusions The rate of knowledge awareness in the students and the women of childbearing is increased significantly after the health educational activities.Systematic and targeted health education activities are effective measures in prevention and control of iodine deficiency disorders.
5.Changes of Immunologic Function,Cellular Factor,Genotype and Activities of Platelet Activating Factor-Acetylhydrolase in Different Stadium of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia of Infant
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1994;0(04):-
0.05).Conclusions Immunologic function alteration of MPP of infants is showed mainly that Th1 immunologic response is raised,Th2 immunologic response is abated, the cellular factor are changed horizontally, but the immunology index and cellular factor are recovered quickly. There are no relations between MPP of infant and PHF-AH genotype, but there is a downward trend in activity of PHF-AH in acute stage.
7.Biochemical characterization and comparison of recombinant RNase HIIa and RNase HIIb from Chlamydia pneumoniae
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(04):-
Objective To clone and compare RNase HIIa and RNase HIIb of Chlamydia pneumoniae AR39(CpRNaseHIIa and CpRNaseHIIb). Methods Genes of CpRNase HIIs were amplified with the designed primers. Then, the recombinant plasmids were constructed, and CpRNase HIIs were expressed and purified with pET expression system. The 5′-32P-labeled RNA/DNA substrate and DNA with oligoribonucleotides substrates were prepared to identify characterization of CpRNase HIIs. Results Ribonuclease H activity of both CpRNase HIIa and CpRNase HIIb could cleave oligoribonucleotides strand, generating break with 3′-OH and 5′-phosphate ends. The results showed that there was different biochemical characterization between them. Conclusion CpRNase HIIa and CpRNase HIIb have different functions in C.pneumoniae.

Objective The present study was designed to investigate the efficiency of simvastatin therapy for experimental pul‐monary hypertension (PH) in rat ,and the effects on the number and function of circulating endothelial progenitor cells (EPC) . Methods Twenty four Sprague Dawley rats were divided into 3 groups randomly :model group ,treatment group and control group , 8 rats in each group .Rats were treated with a single subcutaneous injection of monocrotaline to induce PH (PBS used as control) . The rats in the experimental group were administrated with simvastatin 3 days following subcutaneous injection of monocrotaline .In the 21st day ,the number of circulating EPC ,the right ventricle systolic pressure of rat ,pulmonary vascular structural changes and the quantity of cultured EPC were measured .At the same time ,EPC in each group were cultured in vitro ,then the ability of prolif‐eration and function were analyzed and compared .Results The number of circulating EPC in model group was decreased signifi‐cantly compared to both control and model groups (P< 0 .01) .Compared with model group ,simvastatin treatment markedly de‐creased the RVSP and the ratio of media thickness to eternal diameter (P<0 .01) ,but the ratio of vessel area to total arterial area (VA/TAA) was definitively increased(P<0 .01) .After 7 days of culture in vitro ,both the output of EPC and the ability of prolif‐eration ,conglutination and migration of EPC in treatment group were up -regulated compared with those in model group (P<0 .01) .Conclusion This study confirmed that simvastatin effectively treat experimental PH through improving quantity and func‐tion of circulating EPC .

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2011;46(2):127-31
In the structural determination of natural glycosides, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is an important approach in determining the configuration of glycoside bond. The test of coupling constant of the anomeric proton and chemical shift of the anomeric carbon are two common methods, but these methods are not suitable for some sugars. For those sugars, detailed 13C NMR analysis is an alternative choice. This paper summarizes the characteristics of 1H and 13C NMR data of the common monosaccharides published in the literatures, in order to search an approach to determine the configuration of glycoside bond.
