International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;(2):129-131
Skeletal muscle fibrosis is one of the main pathological changes of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD),which can affect the regeneration of muscle fiber and promote development of the disease. Its occurrence and development correlate closely with inflammatory cells, fibroblasts, myofibroblasts and cytokines. This article reviews the progress of skeletal muscle fibrosis of DMD
2.Research progress on serological screening of nasopharyngeal carcinoma
Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;25(8):572-574
At nasopharyngeal carcinoma high-prevalence area, serum EB virus antibody screening is main method to improve the early diagnosis rate, then further improve the survival rate of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. But there is still wedknesses on nasopharyngeal carcinoma screening protocol. For example misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis are major problems.More intensive screening studies should been done to improved early diagnosis rate.
3.Expressions of RORγt and Foxp3 in peripheral blood of children with atopic dermatitis
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2012;45(4):252-254
ObjectiveTo detect the mRNA expression levels of RORγt and Foxp3 genes in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs) of children with atopic dermatitis(AD),and to explore their possible roles in the development of AD.MethodsSixty-three children with AD and 54 age-matched normal children were eligible for this study.Real-time fluorescence-based quantitative PCR was carried out to measure the mRNA expressions of RORγt and Foxp3 genes in PBMCs of these subjects.ResultsThe relative expression levels of Foxp3 and RORγt mRNA were significantly higher in children with AD compared with the normal controls (2.4060 ± 0.3355 vs.1.1852 ± 0.4189,t =17.50,P< 0.01; 6.9130 ± 0.2046 vs.2.7501 ± 0.2518,t =98.63,P < 0.01 ).A statistical increase was observed in the level of RORγt mRNA in children with severe AD compared with children with mild and moderate AD(7.1203 ± 0.1056 vs.6.8046 ± 0.1731 and 6.8655 ± 0.3671,t =6.61,5.23,both P < 0.01).No significant difference was noted in the expression of RORγt mRNA between children with mild and moderate AD,or in the Foxp3 mRNA expression among children with mild, moderate and severe AD.The severity of AD was positively correlated with the level of RORγt mRNA (r =0.62,P < 0.01 ),but uncorrelated with the level of Foxp3 mRNA(r =0.04,P > 0.05).ConclusionsThe high expressions of RORγt and Foxp3 genes may be involved in the pathogenesis of AD,and the severity of AD is positively correlated with the expression intensity of RORγt gene.
4.Advances in Studies on Procalcitonin and Acute Pancreatitis
Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2014;(7):439-441
Acute pancreatitis( AP)is a common gastrointestinal emergency, which comprises mild acute pancreatitis ( MAP),moderately severe acute pancreatitis( MSAP)and severe acute pancreatitis( SAP). Most patients with MAP and MSAP present as a mild,self-limiting disease with low morbidity and mortality, however, patients who suffer from SAP will experience serious local and/or systemic complications associated with high mortality. Therefore, early assessment of disease severity is important for clinical management. Procalcitonin( PCT),a pro-peptide of calcitonin,is an inflammatory mediator that can be used to differentiate bacterial and non-bacterial infection. Recently, the effect of PCT on AP has attracted more and more attentions. This article reviewed the advances in studies on PCT and AP.
5.The research of apoptosis and proliferation inhibition of human laryngeal carcinoma cell line Hep-2 induced by Genistein.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(7):638-641
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the effect of genistein on cell proliferation and apoptosis in human laryngeal carcinoma cell line Hep-2.
METHOD:
Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was used to measure the 50% inhibiting concentration (IC50) value of genistein; cell apoptosis rate and the distribution changes of cell cycle were determined with flow cytometry assay after treatment by gensitein. The morphological changes of tumor cells were evaluated by inverted phase contrast mircroscopy.
RESULT:
The IC50 of geniste responses to Hep-2 cells for 24 h was 23.64 µg/ml. The apoptotic rates of Hep-2 cells treated by genistein for 24 h were 22.40% ± 1. 65% (at 12 µg/ml genistein) and 30.64% ± 2.94% (at 24 µg/ml genistein) respectively, significantly statistical differences were foundbetween above threated groups and the control group (P < 0.05); the apoptotic rates of Hep-2 cells treated by genistein for 48 h were 30.55% ± 0.72%(at 12 µg/ml genistein) and 48.69% ± 1.06% (at 24 µg/ml genistein) respectively, significantly statistical differences were found between above threated groups and the control group (P < 0.05). When Hep-2 cells exposed to the same concentration of genistein for 24 h, 48 h respectively, the difference in apoptotic rate was statistically significant.
CONCLUSION
Genistein inhibited Hep-2 cells growth obviously, meanwhile it could induced apoptosis of Hep-2 cells, the apoptotic rate was increasing with the increase of the time and dose of genistein.

6.Diagnosis and treatment of gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2017;40(7):656-660
Gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (G- NEN) is a type of relatively rare and heterogeneous tumors mainly derived from enterochromaffin-like cells (ECL-cells) localized in the gastric mucosa. The incidence of G-NEN has increased over the past few decades, which may contribute to factors such as improved clinical and pathological experience in diagnosing this disease, as well as increased access to endoscopy. The biological behavior, clinicalpathological features and treatment response of G-NEN are different from those of pancreatic or intestinal neuroendocrine neoplasms. The diagnosis of G-NEN mainly depends on endoscopy and pathology. Conventional imaging and somatostatin receptor imaging may help to diagnose the disease stage. Treatment requires a multidisciplinary approach that may include endoscopic resection, surgery, chemotherapy, somatostatin analogues, intervention, PRRT, etc. The present study reviews the relevant guidelines in combination of our experience and research and aims to elaborate the epidemiology, clinical classification, diagnostic modalities and treatment options.

8.Progress of mechanism of improving follicles and the receptivity of endometrium of the in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer patients
Clinical Medicine of China 2017;33(1):75-77
In vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET) technology is one of the important means to treat infertility in recent years, although it had made remarkable progress in the field of reproductive medicine, but IVF-ET pregnancy success rate is not very ideal, the reasons that influent the success of IVF-ET include both parents donor of various unfavorable factors and stimulate ovulation itself produces all sorts of malpractices, its influence factors are complicated. In recent years, how to reduce the adverse factors affecting IVF-ET,to improve the success rate of pregnancy of IVF-ET has become the hot topics in the study of domestic clinical intervention in IVF-ET,and the domestic research shown that the quality of the follicle and endometrial environment is the key to determine the success of IVF-ET.
