Objective To establish a TaqMan-MGB fluorescent probe characterized real-time polymerase chain reaction ( qPCR) method for detecting retinoic acid induced genes G ( RIG-G) in human acute promyelocytic leukemia ( M3 ) .Analyze RIG-G expression levels in peripheral blood of both normal persons and M3 patients and explore its diagnosis value for M 3.Methods Methodology establishment study.A detection method and standard curve of TaqMan-MGB real-time PCR were established after designing specific primers and TaqMan-MGB fluorescence probe of human RIG-G gene and using reverse transcription complementary DNA ( cDNA) as a template.The performance of this method was evaluated in specificity, accuracy, precision, analytical sensitivity and interference substances . Twenty clinical specimens with M3 were quantified RIG-G expression so as to evaluate the correlation between peripheral blood and bone marrow samples .Meanwhile , the results of RIG-G expression in peripheral blood of 40 normal specimens and 20 patients with M3 were analyzed by t-test.And receiver-operating characteristic curve ( ROC ) was used to analyze the detection efficiency of M 3.Results There was a good linear relationship between log value of RIG-G standard substance and threshold cycle number ( Ct ) ( standard curve equation:Y=-3.539X+42.952,R2 =0.999).New method was used to detect standard substance . The deviation between observed and expected values was <5% (r=0.999).Three concentration samples (107 ,104 ,101 copies/μl) were selected for precision test.Intra-assay coefficients of variation were 1.38%, 2.31% and 1.38%, respectively , and intre-assay coefficients of variation were 0.71%, 1.17% and 5.07%, separately.All were less than 10%.The sensitivity of this method was 101 copies/μl.There was a good correlation of RIG-G results between peripheral blood and bone marrow in M 3 patients(r=0.996, b=0.973).But there was no significant difference between this two group results (t=0.099, P>0.05). However , there was obvious difference of RIG-G value in peripheral blood between control group and M 3 patient group (U=18,P<0.001), 3.62 ×104(1.61 ×104 -4.90 ×104)copies/μl for controls and 7.10 ×102 (5.43 ×102 -2.21 ×103 ) copies/μl for M3 patients, respectively.Conclusions Successfully establishe a TaqMan-MGB real-time PCR method for detecting RIG-G gene in peripheral blood.The accuracy, precision, sensitivity and specificity are good .It could provide necessary help in early diagnosis and monitor treatment of clinical M3 patients.

Objective To find a useful index for real-time detecting of speech endpoint and improving the performance of speech processing under low SNR by analyzing fluctuation complexity of speech signals. Method The influence of state space partition method, window size and partition numbers on detecting performance was analyzed. The comparison experiments of speech signals corresponding to different SNR and noise type was designed using the measure of complexity behaviors based on the information gain.Result It was found that fluctuation complexity was more effective in detecting low-SNR speech than spectral entropy. Conclusion Fluctuation complexity is a valid feature to make speech/non-speech decision for the low SNR cases. The presented method can achieve robust performance and has a good real-time behavior.

AIM: To compare the effects, adverse reactions and emotion change of venlafaxine vs furazolidone for harmful alcoholics.　METHODS: Sixty-eight patients with harmful alcoholics were divided into two groups. Thirty-four patients (M34; age 37 a± s 6 a) were treated with venlafaxine, 25-50 mg, po, tid, for 8 wk. The other thirty-four patients (M34;age 38 a±6 a) with furzolidone, 0.1-0.2 g, po, tid, for 8 wk, with drinking alcohol at regular intervals during treating with furazolidone.　RESULTS: The total effective rate was 79% in venlafaxine group at 3 mo. There were no obvious adverse reactions, the anxiety disorder and depressive disorder during treating with venlafaxine. And the total effective rate was 65% in furazolidone group (P<0.05). There were obvious adverse reactions such as hypotension, myocardial ischemia, anxiety disorder and depressive disorder after treating with furazolidone.　CONCLUSION: Adverse reaction of venlafaxine on harmful alcoholics is smaller than furazolidone and the effect of venlafaxine on alcoholics is better than furazolidone.

Objective To detect the microsatellite instability (MSI) of D9S166,D9S171,D9S941, D9S942 and IFNA located at chromosome 9p21 in gastric carcinoma with high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia and normal tissue,and investigate the correlation of p14,p15,p16 gene and the gastric carcinogenesis. This paper presents a new method for automatic sleep stage classification which is based on the EEG permutation entropy. The EEG permutation entropy has notable distinction in each stage of sleep and manifests the trend of regular transforming. So it can be used as features of sleep EEG in each stage. Nearest neighbor is employed as the pattern recognition method to classify the stages of sleep. Experiments are conducted on 750 sleep EEG samples and the mean identification rate can be up to 79.6%.

Production and marketing thrive, and prices continue to rise. Therefore, it has become one of the Chinese medicinal herbs with antitumour effects that obtained people’s attention. This author summarized the dynamic condition of production and marketing of Bruceae Fructus during the last 10 years, and analyzed the major reasons for price changes and forecast development tendency so as to provide references for the reasonable layout of production and marketing of Bruceae Fructus.

Objective To investigate the value of ultrasound-guided liver biopsy for infantile hepatitis syndrome regarding diagnosis,treatment and prognosis.Methods Fifty children with infantile hepatitis syndrome hospitalized in Guiyang Maternal and Child Hospital during Aug.2010 to May 2012 were involved in this study.Ultrasoundguided liver biopsies were performed to evaluate the inflammation grade and fibrosis stage.Immunohistochemical staining was used for pathogen diagnosis.The clinical outcomes were followed-up.Results Thirty-four cases (68％)were CMV infection,6 cases(12％) were vanishing bile duct syndrome,4 cases(8％) were chronic intrauterine infection,4 cases(8％) were congenital anomaly of bilirubin metabolism,and 2 cases (4％) were obstructive cholangitis.All 50 cases showed mild inflammation at portal area(G1-G2 grade).All 50 cases exhibited liver fibrosis.Sixteen cases were S1 stage,20 cases were S2 stage,8 cases were S3 stage and 6 cases were S4 stage.Pathogen analysis:all 50 cases showed intrahepatic cholestasis:38 cases were diffuse cholestasis,and 12 cases were moderate cholestasis.Treatment:all cases were treated using 2-week heteropathy; antivirus was used for CMV infected cases,thus 39 cases were finally cured,9 cases were relieved,and 2 cases were ineffective.Conclusion Liver biopsy is valuable for diagnosis,treatment and prognosis infantile hepatitis syndrome.

OBJECTIVETo investigate and establish a risk assessment indicator system of infectious disease event for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and to assess the risk of infectious disease epidemic on 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, as to offering scientific bases for security public health of Olympic Games.

METHODSRisk assessment subject discussion group was constituted to collect all sorts of data of infectious disease and the risk assessment and synthesis were analyzed. Then the expert's opinions were consulted to confirm the entered indicators and the judged content of indicators.

RESULTSA preliminary risk assessment indicator system of infectious disease events of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games was established. The system mainly include six first level indicators and twenty judge indicators altogether.

CONCLUSIONSThe risk assessment indicators system of infectious disease event for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games should be considered as all the risk factors and general application characteristics. It might be used in any security procedure of important function and risk management.

Objective To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of transurethral prostate enucleation with 2 μm laser in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods One hundred and seven patients with BPH were treated by transurethral prostate enucleation with 2 μm laser under continuous epidural anesthesia or laryngeal mask anesthesia. The patient′s, average age was 67±9 yrs (52 to 85 yrs). Of whom, 10 patients had a history of urinary retention. The mean prostate volume was 72.5±17.6 ml (45 to 158 ml). Two deep trenches were cut at the 5 and 7 o, clock position from the bladder neck to the verumontanum. The incision continued to the urethral mucosa and submucosa along with the verumontanum bilaterally in an arc-shape and ended at the internal arc of urethral sphincter. Then the urethral mucosa at the level of the verumontanum was cut and the surgical capsule plane was identified. A retrograde blunt dissection was made along the surgical capsule plane with the resectoscope sheath front-end, and the sheath was swung from side to side to extend the capsule plane. The significantly enlarged middle lobe was treated with laser vaporization resection. In the same way, a trench was made at the 12 o, clock position, and the lateral lobe were removed by the sheath from the verumontanum level, finally only two cord-like pedicles were kept at the 1 and 11 o, clock position at the bladder neck, so that the removed gland tissue was fixed and hung in the gland fossa. For prostate volume less than 60 ml, the laser vaporization resection was carried out directly. If the prostate volume was greater than 60ml, transurethral resection would be performed instead of laser vaporization resection. With 4% mannitol irrigation, the enucleated prostate tissue was then cut into small pieces and washed out by a Braun plastic bottle through the resectoscope sheath. Intraoperative bleeding, operative time, catheterization time, postoperative voiding status, maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax) and length of hospital stay were recorded and analyzed. Results All patients successfully completed the transurethral prostate enucleation. The average operative time was 74±12 min (45-150 min). Five cases required blood transfusion. There was no recorded urethral stricture and no urinary incontinence except for one patient who recovered 1 mon after the operation. The follow-up time was 2-6 mon. The average Qmax was 6.3±0.6 ml/s before and increased to 17.5±1.5 ml/s after the operation. The international prostate symptom score (IPSS) and quality of life (QOL) were reduced from 26.4±5.5 and 4.6±0.5 to 9.3±2.1 and 2.8±0.3 after the operation, respectively, P<0.01. Postoperative secondary bleeding was not observed. Conclusions Transurethral prostate enucleation with 2 μm laser for BPH is a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment. Its efficacy is superior to open surgery, and even better than TURP.

Recently the cases after drinking are increasing, but the systematic studys on ethanol content in vivo and correlative problems are still absent. According to the measured results of ethanol content in vivo, ethanol metabolic distributed rules, mechanisms of ethanol toxicological effect and its production in vivo, this study analysed systematically the time after drinking, total quantity of absorbed ethanol, psychological situations, behavioral dominated ability, death causes and manners in order to find out the implied forensic medical information and provide the reference for colleague.
