3.Discussion on the 2019 Novel Coronavirus susceptible mechanism in children
International Journal of Pediatrics 2021;48(3):191-194
Although children are susceptible to infectious diseases, the cases of children infected with 2019 Novel Coronavirus(2019-nCoV)is relatively low, and the proportion of severe illnesses is even lower. The reason is that the 2019-nCoV cell receptor has low binding capacity in children or the induced intracellular response is low, children’s immune system is immature, lymphocyte depletion and inflammatory factor storms are rare in children, and China′s strict prevention and control measures have kept children away from 2019-nCoV.
4.Ouabain and asthenospermia.
National Journal of Andrology 2015;21(12):1129-1133
Asthenospermia accounts for about 30% of the causes of male infertility. Currently, most drugs for asthenospermia lack specificity and desirable therapeutic efficiency. An insight into the pathogenesis of asthenospermia is important for the development of specific therapies for this disease. The protein Na+/K(+)- ATPase α4 isoform (NKA4) presents in both mature testis tissue and the sperm tail, the absence or reduced activity of which may significantly decrease sperm motility. Ouabain is a natural inhibitor of NKA4, suppressing its activity by specifically binding the ouabain site in it. The hypothalamus and adrenal cortex excrete an ouabain-like steroid hormone called endogenous ouabain (EO), which may be associated with the pathogenesis of asthenospermia by inhibiting the activity of NKA4, affecting Na+/H+ exchange, Na+/Ca2+ exchange and sperm cell membrane potential, and eventually reducing sperm motility.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2022;57(8):2327-2333
Tumor vaccine is one of the most promising therapeutic strategies in tumor immunotherapy. It promotes the antigen presentation process by delivering tumor antigen and then activates the anti-tumor immune response. As a new class of vaccines, messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines can activate the immune system to achieve the purpose of immunotherapy by delivering the mRNA sequence of a specific antigen into the body and expressing the corresponding antigen protein. Compared with traditional vaccines, mRNA vaccines have the advantages of a short production cycle, high effectiveness, and strong immunogenicity. In recent years, the application of mRNA vaccines in tumor immunotherapy has attracted widespread attention, but the instability and low delivery efficiency of mRNA limit its application. Nano delivery system can effectively solve the problem of mRNA vaccine delivery, greatly promote the research process and clinical application of mRNA tumor vaccines, and has become a hot spot in the research of mRNA vaccines. In this review, we introduced the mRNA tumor vaccines, focusing on the application of nano delivery system in mRNA tumor vaccines, in order to provide new ideas and new methods for the efficient delivery of mRNA tumor vaccines and tumor immunotherapy.

Objective To study the protective and therapeutic effect of Luotong on the retinal microvessel kinetic morphological changes during various stages of streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Methods The diabetic rat model was setup by a single intraperitoneal injection 65 mg/kg of streptozotocin. Diabetic model rats were randomly divided into diabetic model group (6, 9, 12 months subgroups), diabetic group protected with Luotong (6 months) from the onset of diabetic model (LT group)and diabetic group treated with Luotong (3, 6 months subgroups ) 6 months after the onset of diabetic model (LT1, 2 group). The eyeballs were removed at 6, 9 and 12 months, respectively. The whole mounts of retinal digestion were prepared and stained with PAS staining method. The light microscope and transmission electron microscope morphological observations were performed and the basilar membrane thickness of retinal capillaries were quantitatively analysed by LEICA-Q550IW computer image system. Results At 6 months, the retinal microvessel morphological changes of LT group were less severe than those of 6 month model group. At 9 months of the diabetic model rat, the retinal microvessel morphological changes were prominent. 3 months after Luotong therapy, the retinal microvessel changes were partly improved in comparison with 9 month model group but still aggravated gradually. At 12 months, the retinal microvessel morphological changes of diabetic model rats were very severe. 6 months after Luotong therapy, the retinal microvessel changes were significant mitigated compared with 12 month model group. The results of computer image analysis indicated the retinal capillary basilar membrane thickness in diabetic group protected or treated with Luotong were significant decreased in comparison with homeochronous model group (P
