It has some advantages that high absorptivity and bioactivity, low toxicity, which contain broad pharmacological functions such as dropping high blood pressure, reducing blood fat, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, anti - aging, anti - fatigue and preventing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. In this paper, we summarized its physicochemical properties, pharmacologic action and the ophthalmological studies which mainly in keratopathy, cataract, glaucoma, uveitis, retinopathy, traumatic optic neuropathy and asthenopia. With the deeper research and more unequivocal in the pharmacological mechanism of proanthocyanidins, it should make the most of its values in medicine. And some more economical and effective drugs are expected to be provided for the clinical ophthalmology in the near future.
2. Insulin resistance and deficiency of post-receptor signal transduction after severe burns
Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 2011;32(1):88-91
Severe burns and trauma can lead to insulin resistance (IR), which is associated with the metabolic disorder and hyperglycemia, and routine insulin treatment yield no noticeable outcome. However, long time big-dose insulin treatment can sometimes cause hypoglycemia, threatening the life of patients and making the condition more complicated to treat. By now, the mechanism of IR is not yet clearly understood. This article reviews the recent researches about the post-receptor signal transduction mechanism of IR after severe burns and its influencing factors.

BACKGROUND: Currently, a variety of new dressings have been on the market, which are diversified and exhibit multifunctional trends. However, ideal wound dressings are still in exploration.OBJECTIVE: To introduce the basic physiological function and polymer advantage of dextran as well as its effects to promote wound healing in combination with other macromolecule materials, in order to impel the development of dextran as a new medical dressing .METHODS: A computer-based search of CNKI, PubMed, WanFang, VIP databases was performed to retrieve reviews or research articles addressing dextran and medical dressings published from January 2000 to December 2016. The keywords were dressing, dextran, wound healing in Chinese and English, respectively. Finally, 31 articles were included in result analysis.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Dextran has the physiological functions of promoting wound healing and immune function. These physiological functions are the basis of dextran as a medical dressing. Additionally, dextran has some polymer advantages, such as water absorption, biodegradability and non-toxicity. It is noteworthy that dextran can be combined with macromolecules to produce new polymer materials that can promote wound healing in animal experiments. Taken together, dextran, as a medical dressing, has a broad clinical prospect in wound healing.

10.A clinical study of total intravenous anaesthesia in laparoscopic operation
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(z1):38-41
Objective To evaluate the recovery and hemedynamics of total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA) with propofol and remifentanil. Methods Thirty ASA Ⅰ - Ⅱ patients undergoing hperoscopic oper-ation were randomly divided into the TIVA group(group A,n=15) and the combined intravenous with inhala-tion anaesthesia greup(group B,n=15). Anaesthesia was induced in the same manner in both greups:Midazo-lam 0.05mg/kg,vecurium 0.1mg/kg,propofol 1.5mg/kg and remifentanil 1.5 μg/kg.Remifentanil was infused 2.5 μg/ml) in group A or with sevoflurane( 1.3% end-tidal) in group B to maintain anaesthesia. With termi-nation of surgery, anaesthetic delivery was discontinued simuhaneously.Bp,HR at all stages and recovery profiles were recorded. Results (1)Between before inflation and after inflation or between at the end of op-eration and the basic values in group A,there were no significant differences in Bp,HR. (2) Times from stop-ping administration of anaesthetics until full spontaneous respiration and eye opening were similar for two groups.Time for trachcal extubation was significantly less in the group A than group B. (3)The rates of post-operative nausea or vomiting were similar. Conclusion The application of TIVA with propefol and remifen-tanil is associated with better hemodynamic stability and better recovery profile as compared to the combined intravenous with inhalation anaesthesia.
