Objective To evaluate the significance of serum interleukin-17(IL-17)and matrix metalloproteinase-7(MMP-7)in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Methods A total of 52 patients with HCC(HCC group),32 patients with liver cirrhosis(LC group)and 36 healthy controls(control group)were enrolled for the study,and all samples were collected from The First Hospital of China Medical University. Serum levels of IL-17 and MMP-7 were determined using ELISA method. The diagnostic performance and their correlation was evaluated. Re-sults Serum levels of IL-17 and MMP-7 in HCC group were significantly higher than those in LC group(all P<0.001)and control group(all P<0.001). Both of them in LC group were higher than control group(all P<0.05). The area under ROC of serum IL-17 and MMP-7 were 0.901 (95%CI:0.847-0.954)and 0.845(95%CI:0.772-0.918). The sensitivity of serum IL-17 and MMP-7 in the diagnosis of HCC was 90.4%and 86.5%,respectively,and the specificity of the same markers was 77.9%and 76.5%,respectively. Combined detection of the two markers improved sensitivity to 98.7%and specificity to 94.8%. Serum IL-17 was positively correlated to MMP-7(r=0.513,P<0.01). Conclusion IL-17 and MMP-7 are involved in the progress of HCC,and serum IL-17 and MMP-7 may be useful markers in the diagnosis of HCC.

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) induced by Brucea Jananica Oil Injection,through literature review and to provide theoretical support for rational use in clinic.Methods With retrospective case study,analyzed ADR induced by Brucea Jananica Oil Injection,which were searched from revelent domestic pharmaceutical database from January 1990 to September 2016.Results Totaliy 76 cases were collected,and most were middle-aged and aged patients.Males patients were more than female patients (61.84％).ADR appeared in every period.The main ADRs of Brucea Jananica Oil Injection were allergic reactions (27.71％),digestive system damage (26.51％),and skin and accessories damage (19.28％).Conclusion Brucea Jananica Oil Injection can induced various ADRs and the occurrence of ADRs was associated with a variety of factors.Clinical monitoring should be enhanced,so as to ensure safety and efficacy of medication.

Objective To study the perioperative treatment of the patients having fracture with hemophilia A. Methods Seven male hemophilia A patients with fractures were treated in our hospital from Jan. 1988 to Apr. 2003. All the patients received coagulation factor replacement treatment. The plasma level of factor Ⅷ was measured at preoperation, intraoperation and postoperation, fracture was treated by internal fixation, and the mean follow-up period was 16 months. Results In this series there were 1 severe, 2 moderate, 2 mild, and 2 pre-clinic hemophilia A patients, all patients had bone union during the follow-up, and no complications such as hematoma, infection and loosening or breaking of internal fixation happened. Conclusion The surgical treatment of fractures with hemophilia A can obtain excellent clinical outcome throug careful perioperative preparation.

Objective To assess the effectiveness of transpupillary thermotherapy (TTT) for the treatment of central exudative chorioretinopathy. Methods Tweenty nine eyes with central exudative chorioretinopathy were treated with Iris 810 nm diode laser TTT. The laser beam size was 1.0, 2.0 or 3 0 mm with power settings between 80 300 mW and treatment time 60 sec. The follow up periods were wihzin 4 40 weeks. The therapeutic effect was accessed by visual acuity examination,dinect ophthalmoscopy and fluorescein or indocyanine green angiography. Results The visual acuity improved in 8 eyes (28%), remained no change in 19 eyes (65%) and decreased in 2 eyes (7%). Choroidal neovascularization were closed in 12 eyes in fundus angiography. The symptoms alleviated in 10 patients. Conclusion Transpupillary thermotherapy is a potential treatment for the central exudative chorioretinopathy.

Objective To detect water iodine content,urinary iodine content and thyroid volume of children aged 6-12 in high water-iodine areas and to explore the relationship between thyroid volume and the three factors (water iodine content,urinary iodine content and age).Methods In July 2011 to March 2012,four provinces of Shandong,Shanxi,Henan and Hebei were investigated,and water iodine content were divided into 4 levels,which were 50-99,100-149,150-299,and ≥300 μg/L,respectively.For each water iodine content level,three villages were analyzed.School children aged 6-12 were recruited,family salt iodine was determined to exclude those children who had intaken iodized salt.After that,water iodine content,urinary iodine content and thyroid volume of children were measured.Finally,relationships between thyroid volume and water iodine content,urinary iodine content and age were analyzed.Salt iodine was detected by semi-quantitative method;urinary iodine was detected by arsenic cerium catalytic spectrophotometry;thyroid volume was detected by B-scan ultrasonography.Results The medians of thyroid volume in each age group from 6 to 12 years were 2.00,2.21,2.54,2.94,3.30,3.44,and 3.72 ml,respectively;the medians of urinary iodine content in each age group were 252.3,319.4,345.2,350.9,371.2,384.4,and 409.6 μg/L,respectively.Under the condition of water iodine content ＞ 100 μg/L,the median of urinary iodine content of children aged 6 in 100-149 μg/L water iodine content group was 274.0 μg/L,while other groups with different ages got the median of urinary iodine content more than 300 μg/L.Water iodine content,urinary iodine content and age were all positively correlated with thyroid volume (r =0.154,0.148,0.381,all P ＜ 0.01).In addition,water iodine content and urinary iodine content were positively correlated (r =0.399,P ＜ 0.05).With the same water iodine content level,the urinary iodine content and thyroid volume showed a significant dispersion with increasing age,which meant different individual responses to higher iodine.Conclusions In higher water-iodine areas,the iodine level of children is excessive,although they have intaken non-iodized salt.Furthermore,thyroid volume is associated with water iodine content,urinary iodine content and age.

Objective:To investigate the effect of gegenqinlian on serum TNF-αlevel in rats with chronic periodontitis and athero-sclerotic.Methods:40 healthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group(N,n =10)and model group(D,n =30).After model establishment and identfication the rats in model group were divided into D1,D2,D3,D4 and D5 groups(n =5) and were administered with saline,metronidazole,atorvastatin,metronidazole combined with atorvastatin and gegenqinlian respec-tively for 4 weeks.Periodontal indexes(PD and AL)were measured,the maximum intima-media thickness of abdominal aorta(IMT) was pathologically examined,TNF-αlevel was detected by ELISA.Results:After treatment PD,AL and serum TNF-αlevels in D2,D3,D4 and D5 groups were significantly lower than those in D1 group(P <0.05),There was no difference of lipid and TNF-αlevels between D4 and D5 groups(P >0.05).Conclusion:Gegenqinlian can reduce serum level of TNF-αin rats,suggesting that the drug is effective in the treatment of periodontitis with atherosclerosis.

Objective To investigate the relation between the expression of HSP70 and p57kip2 in C, CT and Enneking surgical classifi-cation by detecting expression of HSP70 and p57kip2. Methods 30 cases of GCT were collected, including surgical operation specimens and 13 cases of osteochondroma were taken as control group. The expression of HSP70 and p57kip2 were detected, and the relation between the ex-pression of HSP70 and p57kip2 and Enneking surgical classification and prognosis of GCT were analyzed. Results With the increase of tumor Enneking surgical grades, the positive rate of HSP70 was increased and the negative rate of p57kip2 was decreased. Expression rates of HSP70 were 22. 2%, 88.9% ,100% in grades of 1～3 and expression rates of p57kip2 were 88. 9%, 88.9%, 33.3% in grades of 1～3. There was a negative correlation between HSPTo and p.57kip2 expression. Conclusions HSP70 and p57kip2 may play a role in the genesis, and develop-ment of giant cell tumor of bone, and it can be helpful for surgical classification and prognesis of GCT.

Objective:To explore the directed forgetting ability of elder people to disease/death-related words under the conditions of the neutral and negative emotion.Methods:Thirty-six elder people and thirty-seven young people were included in this study.The directed forgetting effects to disease/death-related words were compared by using item-method directed forgetting paradigm under the neutral and negative emotional conditions.Results:Under the neutral and negative emotion conditions,higher recognition of to-be-remembered (TBR) than to-be-forgotten (TBF) words in elder group and younger group (Ps ＜ 0.05).The elder group showed the weaker effect of directed forgetting than younger group[neutral emotion:(0.4 ± 0.1) vs.(0.6 ± 0.1);negative emotion:(0.3 ± 0.1) vs.(0.7 ± 0.04),Ps ＜ 0.05].Under the negative emotion condition,elder people showed stronger effect of directed forgetting for sensitive words compared with control words[(0.4 ± 0.1) vs.(0.1 ± 0.1),P ＜ 0.001].Conclusion:The results suggest that the directed forgetting ability of elderly is weaker than that of young individuals,the ability of non-sensitive words than that with sensitive words,and the directed forgetting effect of elder people tonon-sensitive words in negative emotion is weaker than that in neutral emotion.
