Objective To investigate and analyze application of syndrome-differentiated nursing care in the hospitals of TCM in Hunan. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate and analyze 485 nurses-in-charge or higher positions in 116 hospitals of TCM in Hunan. Results 90.93% of nursing staff hold that syndrome-differentiated nursing care benefits patients' health; 32.37% of nurses were not familiar with syndrome-differentiated nursing care, and the rate of familiarity was higher among the nurses in municipal and provincial hospitals of TCM than those in county and district hospitals of TCM; hospitals of TCM that carry out syndrome-differentiated nursing care exceeding 70% accounted for 12.37%, with municipal and provincial hospitals of TCM higher than county and district hospitals of TCM. Conclusions Application of syndrome-differentiated nursing care in the hospitals of TCM is of concern. Reform of management model, training system, regulations and laws is needed to encourage nurses' application of syndromedifferentiated nursing care.

Objective:To explore the effects of eight-week group positive psychotherapy intervention on de-pression associated self-efficacy and subjective well-being in female nursing students. Methods:Totally 74 female nursing students with mild to moderate depression [the score of Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-Ⅱ)was 14 to 28]were selected from three nursing colleges of Changsha. They were randomly divided into two groups,40 in the control group and 34 in the intervention group.Samples in the intervention group were given the eight-week group positive psychotherapy, while the control group was given nothing (the control group could receive the intervention when the intervention was proved to be effective or the control group needed treatments). The General Self-efficacy Scale(GSES)and Index of Well-being(IWB)were used to get the outcome of female nursing students'self-effica-cy,subjective well-being at baseline, the time after the intervention,3 month follow-up,6 month follow-up.Results:The interactive effect between group and time of self-efficacy,subjective well-being were statistically significant (Ps<0.05).Separate analyses showed that at baseline, there was no significant difference between two groups in all variables (Ps >0.05).At the end of the intervention,3 month follow-up and 6 month follow-up,the GSES score and IWB score in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group (Ps <0.05).Conclusion:Eight-week group positive psychotherapy could improve self-efficacy and subjective well-being of female nursing students who have mild to moderate depressive symptom. This intervention also has a long-term effect.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2017;23(22):2916-2920
Objective To explore the content of postgraduate courses in critical care nursing in TCM schools, and to offer a scientific basis for TCM schools to develop TCM-featured specialized courses. Methods On the basis of first-class and second-class indicators for course setting known through expert inquiry, totally 492 clinical nurses specialized in critical care nursing were inquired with questionnaires. The importance and reasonableness of course setting and teaching hours for the program of critical care nursing were then evaluated. Results Through survey and inquiry, the first three courses most badly needed among all the courses for critical care nursing were elective courses, which were Specialized Critical Care Nursing (4.80±0.67), Ventilator Therapy (4.80±0.40), and Critical Care Nursing Skills (4.73±0.46). They were all specialized courses with a reasonable duration of 72 teaching hours. Among the non-specialized courses, Basic Theory of TCM Nursing (4.44±0.51), Advanced Training of Medical Nursing Skills (4.40±0.67), Medical Research Methodology (4.34±0.73) and Evidence-based Nursing (4.24±0.67) were important. Conclusions The courses for Master of nursing specialist in TCM schools should pay attention to students' clinical application and highlight the professionalism and TCM features of critical care nursing. Meanwhile, evidence-based thinking, specialized English and research ability should not be ignored. And key points shall be stressed on in course setting and teaching hours.

Objective:To construct the evaluation index system of "early clinical contact" education of undergraduate medical students, and to provide guidance for the evaluation of "early clinical contact" education in medical teaching. Methods:The evaluation index system of "early clinical contact" education of undergraduate medical students was constructed by literature research, Delphi expert consultation and analytic hierarchy process, and the weight of each index was determined. Excel 2010 and SPSS 25.0 were used to make data entry and statistical analysis. Results:The enthusiasm of experts in the two rounds of expert consultation were 100.00%(26/26) and 96.15%(25/26) respectively, the expert authority coefficients were 0.900 and 0.920, and the coordination coefficients were 0.255 and 0.175 respectively ( P < 0.05). The evaluation index system included 4 first-class indexes, 12 second-class indexes and 47 third-class indexes. Conclusion:The index system has high scientificity and reliability. After further verification, it can be used as an evaluation tool for the teaching quality of "early clinical contact" education of undergraduate medical students.

EndNote21 was used for bibliometric analysis. CiteSpace6.2.R2 software was used to draw and interpret the knowledge map of keywords. Results:A total of 445 and 3 637 articles were included in China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science database. The number of publications was on the rise. A total of 11 clusters and 12 emerging keywords were obtained from China National Knowledge Infrastructure database. A total of 11 clusters and 25 emerging keywords were obtained from Web of Science database. Conclusions:The construction of standardized and homogeneous curriculum system and feedback evaluation system of hospice care education has been a research hotspot at home and abroad in recent years. For nurses with multi-level education, the use of multidisciplinary, multi-center, in-depth intervention research and evidence-based research to explore the hospice care education model in line with China′s national conditions is the development trend in the future.

Objective:To investigate the mediating effect of spiritual health between emotional intelligence and humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduates, and to provide reference for cultivating humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduates. Methods:From May to July, 2023, the nursing undergraduates from Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hunan Normal University, Xi'an Medical College were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling method, and they were investigated by general information questionnaire, spiritual health scale, emotional intelligence scale and humanistic care ability scale.Using AMOS 29.0 to construct a structural equation model, this paper explored the mediating effect of spiritual health between emotional intelligence and humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduates. Results:Finally, 1 126 valid questionnaires were collected. Among 1 126 nursing undergraduates, there were 229 males and 897 females. The total scores of spiritual health, emotional intelligence and humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduates were (90.60 ± 11.02), (126.01 ± 11.90), (174.27 ± 15.16) points, respectively. The humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduates was positively correlated with spiritual health and emotional intelligence ( r=0.441, 0.417; both P<0.01), emotional intelligence and spiritual health were positively correlated ( r=0.397, P<0.01). Spiritual health had some mediating effects between emotional intelligence and humanistic care ability, and the amount of mediating effects was 32.24%. Conclusions:The humanistic care ability of nursing undergraduates is at a medium level, and emotional intelligence can influence humanistic care ability through spiritual health. Therefore, it is suggested that nursing educators should add courses and practical activities related to spiritual health in the training plan of nursing students to promote their emotional intelligence and humanistic care ability.
