The osteochondroma is the most common benign bone tumor, of which the typical form is a cartilage-capped bony projection, far often found at the metaphysis of the long tubular bones, and may arise from any bone preformed in cartilage. To our knowledge, however, osteochondroma of accessory bones has not been reported, but we experienced a rare case of osteochondroma located in the position normally occupied by a tarsal accessory bone(Os Tibiale Externum). The mass was treated by excisioa and it discloeed typical microscopic findings of ostechondroma as shown in the pictures.

To our knowledge, however, osteochondroma of lumbar spine has been reported 11 cases, but We experienced a case of osteochondroma located in the position normally occupied by right side lamina of 5th lumbar vertebra. The mass was excised and disclosed typical microscopic findings of osteochondroma.

Congenital torticollis, or wryneck, is caused by fibromatosis within the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It may invlove the muscle diffusely, but more often it is localized near the clavicular attachment of the muscle. An osteochondroma is a benign lesion that is often considered to be the most common type of bone tumor and this lesion rarely occurs in the clavicle. We report a case who had congenital muscular torticollis with solitary osteochondroma on the clavicular attachment site of sternocleidomastoid muscle of medial clavicle.

The osteochondroma is a common benign bone tumor, which is only rarely observed in a subungal location, especially in the fingers. We present a case of multiple subungal osteochondromas, which occurred in the distal phalanges causing nail deformities and pain.

An osteochondroma is one of the most common benign bone tumors. The bones of the foot are less commonly involved, and there are only a few case reports of talar osteochondroma. There are no case reports of a talar osteochondroma in Korea. We report two cases of the osteochondroma in the talus.

An osteochondroma is an osseous protuberance with cartilaginous growth potential, usually arising in skeletal bone and relatively uncommon in the craniofacial bone. Osteochondroma of the craniofacial region usually occurs at the condyle or the tip of the coronoid process, and rarely arises in the mandibular body, symphysis, ramus, and similar areas. Excision of the lesion including the periosteum is curative, and recurrence or malignant change (usually to a chondrosarcoma) after treatment is rare. We present an atypical case of osteochondroma in the left mandibular inferior border with review of literature.
